While it could of been a lovely hotel, the staff was rude and couldn't of cared less about multiple broken issues in the room. The shower was broken so we couldn't shower after a long day of hiking, and the room smelled like chemicals, chlorine so horribly we opened the windows to air it out but were told, the windows must be closed. They're not allowed to be opened. Overall beautiful location and not much else open but good Lord was it disappointing.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable, with views that'll make you want to stay forever. The best part is that all you can hear is the sound of the river, which is super relaxing. The rooms and the hotel in general are always clean, which is really appreciated. And the garden, what can I say about the garden! It's a great spot to chill, especially if you like reading outdoors. Staying here is awesome because you feel well taken care of and the place is beautiful.

Wonderful hotel. We stayed here in late April for 4 nights. The views from the rooms are wonderful. The room was very cosy and comfortable. Carmen is very welcoming. Las Arenas de Cabrales is a great base for walks in the Picos de Europa and has great cafes, restaurants and shops with local produce.

Pretty rural hotel run by a friendly family. Falling asleep in one of the neat, comfortable rooms while listening to the gentle murmur of the nearby stream was a bliss. It's also a great base for the ruta del Cares.

Family run business with great value rooms. Bed was super comfortable, room had everything you'd need for a few nights stay. Decent breakfast available for €5. Loved the animals - the golden retriever and the tabby cat seemed to welcome guests on arrival! Great location in Arena de Cabrales, with hiking in Picos de Europa just 10 mins drive away from Poncebos, but with many more restaurants, shops etc. Walls were really thin, could hear people talking in the adjacent room and they weren't even noisy. Wasn't an issue as everyone went to sleep but might not be great if you get some inconsiderate night owls

We did no sleep in the hotel but in a building next to it. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. It was perfect. Laura was very charming and gave us a lot of information about the Los Picos De Europa. It made our trip even more enjoyable. We will recommend it to all of our friends.

I stayed here 3 nights with my daughter and we loved it. The cost was very reasonable and we had a lovely mountain view too. We had a Twin room and the beds were great to sleep on, the bathroom also was well equipped. The place was spotless. Breakfast was a very good offering and included in the cost.||Carmen the owner is a lovely lady and very friendly, providing ideas and recommendations as to where to go and what to do. All the staff were very friendly also. Excellent wifi connection. We asked for a late check out if possible, and as there was no one checking in the following day we were allowed to stay until 4pm which was very generous. Thank you so much Carmen! Would love to go back as Arenas de Cabrales is a great place to use as a base for the Picos.

Stayed for 4 nights in September 2019. It was a beautifully situated hotel with amazing window views (we stayed in Room 7). Room was clean, comfortable and cosy with good working shower. Loved the resident hotel dog who (lazily) greeted us more than a few times when we returned from hikes! Breakfast was perfect with hot drinks, a gigantic piece of toasted baguette and lots of ham, cheese, jams, fruit, yogurt and local cakes to choose from. Would love to go back!
