Hotel Rural Ibo Alfaro - OFFLINE HOTEL

Forget about the pictures in the hotel booking platforms. Everything is way better! Honestly it‘s the best hotel experience I‘ve had for years. We got a warm welcome and had the feeling that our hosts were really happy to have us here. Our room „Viñatigo“ is outstanding. Cozy, modern, enough space and perfect in shape. There are drinks you can buy. A terrace you can use. The breakfast is awesome. A huge thanks to the hotel team! You‘re great! Thanks for having us! 😃

I liked everything about this hotel: the room, the bed (two pillows of variable thickness), the authentic, stylish, but unpretentious decoration and atmosphere, breakfast. When I arrived a little later than planned, the key was ready where I could see it, with helpful explanations, and I received a message whether I had arrived safely. Everything about it simply felt good.

The hotel looks very nice but as a family travelling with a 11 months old baby that can sleep with us in the same bed, we were informed that we cannot stay in the normal (2 people) bedroom and that as there was no family room available, we couldn't stay at the hotel. Weird reasoning in my opinion but I suppose there must be some good explanation which eludes me.

Everything felt good about this hotel: the authentic decoration and atmosphere, spacious room, very good bed, breakfast, and the personal welcome.

Lovely hotel with beautiful views over the valley. Breakfasts were great and the room was exceptionally clean with lovely fresh sheets and bed linen. Isabel was very helpful when we had a hot water issue and fixed it straight away. Tranquil and very peaceful stay

Because of a cancelled Airbnb we had to look for a place to stay for a place to stay for 3 nights (it was already 7pm) in Hermigua. By googling we found this little hotel and found out that there should be one room left. Arriving at the hotel, the lady of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Finally we’ve got our place to stay and after all this place is far more better than the Airbnb where we should stay before. Very clean and cozy hotel with amazing view. Perfect bed and all the amenities you need. Not the mass tourism formula. Highly recommended! We definitely will come back!

Thanks to Isabel and her team, we had a lovely week in this hotel. The view from the terrace is spectacular, over the whole valley, with the Teide mountain of Teneriffe in the background. The breakfast is delicious and varied and the rooms quiet. Hermigua is a good base for hikes in the Garajonay national park.
