Hotel Rural La Casa de Pasarón

I can only say awesome things about this place. I was there only for a day but I would recommend it 100%! I am actually planning my next trip there soon since they are holding a lot of great workshops and retreats and I would love to participate in those. Susana was the perfect host; she showed us around, told us about a couple of tales in town and even gave us advice about how to get to our next stop, Portugal. This is such a beautiful spot, in the mountains of Cáceres. Breakfast was amazing, fresh oranges, ham, cheese, toasts, both healthy and delicious. The building is so crazy beautiful, it’s like staying in a castle, the stone stairs are my favourite! My second favourite is probably the view from the pool since you could see the palace, the mountains, the town, the patio…. Just amazing.

Very friendy service, very patient with my rather poor Spanish. The room was spotless and the location very quiet. Impressive vaulted restaurant. Meals are at a fixed time (9.30) and fixed (1 or 2 choices per course) but were very tasty although not gourmet.||The hotel has a car park but as it is approached down a narrow street you need to be careful if you have a large car. The area has lots of walks and sights, the roads are excellent and quiet and I had a thoroughly relaxing holiday. I would happily stay here again.

Rooms are great, spotlessly clean, there's a pool with a view of the village and the food... the food is amazing! It's simple, local, unassuming, with great flavours with coriander, carrot, mushrooms and even boletos (oak acorns, absolutely delicious!). Highly recommended!

Loved this place! Great care and love from the owners resulted in a brilliant place, with amazing food. The pool is perfect and the view is really quite something. Can't recommend enough.

Es una casa preciosa, con bastantes detalles de cómo era esa casa familiar. El ambiente y la decoración fantástica. La cama es súper confortable. (Toda la lencería es muy agradable). El desayuno bastante sano y abundante. Muy buena atención en general.
