This was an overnight stop just before Christmas on our way south. I struggle to find a quiet dog friendly hotel south of Madrid. This was our second visit. Most of the rooms are upstairs set round what would have been an open courtyard. The "landing" area is set out for the comfort of residents with easy chairs, tea and coffee, kettle, milk and biscuits. The bedrooms are traditionally furnished and a good nights sleep is guaranteed as the hotel is in a quiet part of town. Breakfast is good value (7.5€) but is not served until 09.00 at weekends. Our dog enjoys the walks, either along the dry (hopefully) river bed or along the tracks by the football stadium. ||The el Retorno restaurant on site is excellent, 3 courses, wine and coffee approx 80€. The bar can be accessed round the corner of the hotel where you can find tapas and snacks.||The hotel is only 8 km from the A4 so it is an easy stop off and sat nav takes you straight to the door.
