Hotel Rural Posada del Rincón

Very good food! Wonderful people! Love the service 💕 happy to know about this place! I’ve been here multiple times now, and I hope to keep coming back.

Rural hotel situated on the square in front of the monastery. We hadn´t reserved in advance and phoned the same day (a week day) to get a double room for 60€, which is definitely a wonderful price for the hotel and the surroundings. Our room was on the first floor and saw out on a patio (downstairs is the cafeteria, so it might be noisy at certain times of the day). The building is very nicely renovated (difficult to assess from the outside on the square), very well furnished and although the breakfast is not included, just next door is the restaurant/cafeteria of the hotel where the food is great. Make sure not to order too much, as the plates are huge.

This hotel has been recently beautifully renovated with comfortable rooms, good sized bathrooms and a family room. We were fortunate to be able to stay in two adjoining rooms as we were travelling with our daughter. There are also relaxation areas where one could read a book or just relax in a really nice atmosphere.||While the hotel is on the plaza, the rooms we stayed in were set back behind a small courtyard so were extremely quiet. We could open the windows for some fresh air, even though the rooms were well served with airconditioners.||The tariff was extremely reasonable and we had breakfast in the hotel's adjoining bar (on the plaza) every morning we were there.

Very polite and kind staff, nice decoration with beautiful pictures reflecting traditions and scenes from the area. Their jamón is to die for. A classic bar and restaurant from Guadalupe to which me and my family keep coming back.

Enjoyed the relaxed environment, excellent food and good service, despite a full dinning room. The wine selection and the meal choices were sufficient to satisfy most tastes. Service was well controlled and without fuss.

To visit the black virgin of the Real Monasterio of Guadalupe we stayed one night in the Posada del Rincon. The hotel is in the central square just in front of the monasterio. It has an outside terrace on the square, but during our visit it rained.|The hotel looked very nice with lots of authentic details. We had two rooms at the balcony overlooking the inside patio. There was a big bar cafetaria and a little restaurant. Dinner was good. People were nice.|Although we booked over the internet they hadn't received our booking, but in october that's no problem. The Posada del Rincon is a cheap alternative to the Parador and the Hospederia de Monasterio.||(By the way: it's not in Badajoz, but in Guadalupe itself in the province of Caceres)|

Nice, clean hotel in an excellent position. We got a room on the back, looking at the monastery, and it was super quiet. Small bathroom but it provides everything you need. No parking but you can find space to park on the street just around the corner. Good value for money. Hotel in posizione eccellente. Camere funzionali, molto carine e provviste di tutto il necessario. Noi avevamo una camera sul retro, con vista parziale sul monastero, e abbiamo dormito molto bene, senza rumori. Prezzo onesto.

The monastery is the big attraction but the town itself is delightful. The countryside imposed a sense of remoteness and the hotel is charmingly rustic. The staff are friendly and the restaurant is excellent
