Hotel Rural Sant Ignasi

We had the most wonderful stay at Hotel Rural Sant Ignasi. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome with their kindness and generosity. They went above and beyond for us throughout our trip, offering excellent recommendations for things to do and places to eat, and making sure every detail of our stay at the hotel was perfect. Their immaculate hospitality truly made us feel at home and completely safe. The hotel itself is magical, an oasis of peace and relaxation. Everything was spotless, from the rooms to the lobby and restaurant, and the atmosphere was simply breathtaking. Surrounded by nature, with butterflies floating around, it felt like a dream. We will never forget our time here. Thank you so much to the amazing staff for making our stay so special, we truly hope to come back again soon.

We had a magical stay at hotel Sant Ignasi, you feel like you are entering a peaceful countryside oasis from the moment you arrive. The grounds and rooms are really nicely designed, we particularly loved having an outdoor terrace area with comfy sunbeds and an outdoor shower. We also loved being able to play padel every morning. Everyone working at the hotel is so friendly and helpful, and we noticed the communal areas being constantly cleaned - making it all feel spotless. The staff even acknowledged my partner’s birthday with a handwritten note and some chocolates, which was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed eating at the restaurant a couple of nights too, it was such a lovely setting sitting under the trees with fairy lights. Our only piece of feedback would be to have snack menu (the sandwiches etc.) available all day, as these were only on offer before 12.30 (which was too early if you filled up properly at breakfast!) or after 4pm while the restaurant was serving lunch - I think if food has been on offer earlier than this, those relaxing round the pool would definitely have been ordering it! Other than this small detail our stay was so perfect, we would highly recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring, with easy access to both beautiful beaches and the town of Ciutadella.||The recently renovated property was spotless. We stayed in a generously sized suite with a living area and both front and back terraces. Thoughtful amenities like daily complimentary water, robes, and slippers were a nice touch.||The gardens are tranquil and beautifully maintained. The large pool is warm and inviting, surrounded by comfortable loungers that offer afternoon shade. We also enjoyed the poolside bar, which serves snacks throughout the day, as well as the tennis and padel courts, which we used daily.||The on-site restaurant serves a very good dinner, though we found the portions a bit small and ended up dining in town most evenings. The breakfast was excellent, offering a great buffet and hot menu options.||The staff's service was exceptional—it felt like genuine five-star hospitality. They provided great local advice, making our experience truly special. I couldn't recommend this hotel more.

This is a wonderful hotel—the grounds and buildings are absolutely stunning. The design is understated yet sophisticated, with every detail thoughtfully considered to ensure both comfort and beauty. The gardens, pathways, pool, and surrounding woodland are impeccably maintained and simply breathtaking.||The atmosphere is incredibly calm—an ideal place to relax, unwind, and enjoy nature. Whether you’re lounging by the pool or strolling through the peaceful surroundings, it’s the perfect setting to disconnect. The hotel is conveniently located about 10 minutes by car from Ciutadella, and taxis are easy to arrange for trips into town or elsewhere on the island.||The staff were exceptional both before and during our stay—extremely helpful with organizing activities, transfers, and anything we needed. Warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind, they made us feel completely at home.||Both breakfast and the restaurant were delightful. The terrace, shaded by trees, offers a serene dining experience, and the food itself is outstanding—refined, delicate, and of the highest quality.||Thank you so much to everyone who made this trip so memorable, restful, and peaceful.

The property is beautifully curated, and from the moment you walk through the rustic concrete entrance, it feels like you’ve arrived at the right place. Check-in was smooth overall, though we both noticed the receptionist referred to my wife as “her,” which was not pleasant to hear. In the room, some details were missing: no slippers or bathrobes, and no extra blankets or summer duvet for the cooler mid-September evenings. We requested one the next day, but it was never provided. Breakfast felt limited in variety and not very well presented. Considering the level of the establishment, we expected more effort. Menorca offers such an abundance of excellent farm-to-table, local products, and it would be wonderful to see them featured more prominently. We stayed in two rooms during our visit. The first, on the second floor, was smaller, beautiful view and cozy with a large bathroom. Later we moved to a deluxe standard room on the ground floor near the entrance. While it was bigger and had a lovely patio, the bathroom was smaller with no ventilation. Being right by the entrance meant constant noise and no privacy, we couldn’t keep the windows open without people looking inside. Overall, while the property is beautiful, we left somewhat not fully satisfied. We expected more attention to detail and definitely more variety to the first meal of the day.

We have stayed at the hotel three times in a row since it was completely renovated in 2024. The rooms , the buildings and the pool are simply beautiful, elegant, the overall vibe is authentic and understated luxury. Faithfull fans of Menorca, having stayed and visited all of the premium hotels on the Island we were completely seduced by St Ignasi to the point that we organized our wedding there. The hotel is a wonderful oasis close to Ciutadella, hiden in a peaceful and quiet corner.The garden,the pool, the restaurant (Smoix) are all contributing to the unique and authentic menorcan experience which is smoothly delivered.The hotel staff is welcoming and friendly, the padel and tennis courts are a great addition to the overall excellent level of service delivered at the right price.

Thoroughly recommend this hotel! The refurbishment has been beautifully done, indoors and out, so much attention to detail. ||The staff were super helpful from start to finish. They were able to offer us an early check in and late check out (as this was possible in our case), gave us great recommendations and assisted us with taxis and reservations. They also surprised us with a lovely note and a bottle for our anniversary. ||Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all delicious in a lovely outdoor setting. ||We stayed in a double room on the second floor – the view from our window was so pretty and the beds were super comfortable, we slept so well. ||Lots of sun beds, with shade under the trees available for most of the day. ||Rural but great location. We managed okay without hiring a car (there are buses to some of the beaches from the Ciutadella and we got taxis to restaurants) but next time we would probably get a car to have more freedom to explore.||We’d happily stay again! Fantastic stay at Sant Ignasi; lovely room with all amenities needed, padel and tennis courts together with a nice relaxing pool area, great breakfast with lots of options, super quiet too. The highlight though was the staff - really friendly, caring, with great local advice on beaches, restaurants and things to do. Would recommend a stay here!!
