Hotel Rural Sant Ignasi

We had the most wonderful stay at Hotel Rural Sant Ignasi. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome with their kindness and generosity. They went above and beyond for us throughout our trip, offering excellent recommendations for things to do and places to eat, and making sure every detail of our stay at the hotel was perfect. Their immaculate hospitality truly made us feel at home and completely safe. The hotel itself is magical, an oasis of peace and relaxation. Everything was spotless, from the rooms to the lobby and restaurant, and the atmosphere was simply breathtaking. Surrounded by nature, with butterflies floating around, it felt like a dream. We will never forget our time here. Thank you so much to the amazing staff for making our stay so special, we truly hope to come back again soon.

This is a wonderful hotel—the grounds and buildings are absolutely stunning. The design is understated yet sophisticated, with every detail thoughtfully considered to ensure both comfort and beauty. The gardens, pathways, pool, and surrounding woodland are impeccably maintained and simply breathtaking.||The atmosphere is incredibly calm—an ideal place to relax, unwind, and enjoy nature. Whether you’re lounging by the pool or strolling through the peaceful surroundings, it’s the perfect setting to disconnect. The hotel is conveniently located about 10 minutes by car from Ciutadella, and taxis are easy to arrange for trips into town or elsewhere on the island.||The staff were exceptional both before and during our stay—extremely helpful with organizing activities, transfers, and anything we needed. Warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind, they made us feel completely at home.||Both breakfast and the restaurant were delightful. The terrace, shaded by trees, offers a serene dining experience, and the food itself is outstanding—refined, delicate, and of the highest quality.||Thank you so much to everyone who made this trip so memorable, restful, and peaceful.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring, with easy access to both beautiful beaches and the town of Ciutadella.||The recently renovated property was spotless. We stayed in a generously sized suite with a living area and both front and back terraces. Thoughtful amenities like daily complimentary water, robes, and slippers were a nice touch.||The gardens are tranquil and beautifully maintained. The large pool is warm and inviting, surrounded by comfortable loungers that offer afternoon shade. We also enjoyed the poolside bar, which serves snacks throughout the day, as well as the tennis and padel courts, which we used daily.||The on-site restaurant serves a very good dinner, though we found the portions a bit small and ended up dining in town most evenings. The breakfast was excellent, offering a great buffet and hot menu options.||The staff's service was exceptional—it felt like genuine five-star hospitality. They provided great local advice, making our experience truly special. I couldn't recommend this hotel more.

We really enjoyed the amazing renovated beautiful and peaceful hotel Ignasi in tranquil stunning natural surroundings, quiet nights in very comfortable beds and modern chique rooms. Special thanks to the amazing General Manager Romana and her kind, helpful and attentive team who went far and beyond to make our vacation top notch. The breakfasts are delicious and of the highest quality. with fresh products and the freshly brewed ristretto was my morning wakeup. The restaurant as well is haute fine cuisine, delicious and a feast for the mouth and the eyes. For sure a place to recommend highly, we truly loved it. |Muchos gracias, |Jan & Martina

Calm and chic rural hotel with the perfect blend of simple but well designed rooms and communal areas. A wonderful restaurant and pool area in landscaped gardens. Discrete and friendly service. All makes for a very relaxing stay close to Ciutadella and wonderful beaches.

Thoroughly recommend this hotel! The refurbishment has been beautifully done, indoors and out, so much attention to detail. ||The staff were super helpful from start to finish. They were able to offer us an early check in and late check out (as this was possible in our case), gave us great recommendations and assisted us with taxis and reservations. They also surprised us with a lovely note and a bottle for our anniversary. ||Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all delicious in a lovely outdoor setting. ||We stayed in a double room on the second floor – the view from our window was so pretty and the beds were super comfortable, we slept so well. ||Lots of sun beds, with shade under the trees available for most of the day. ||Rural but great location. We managed okay without hiring a car (there are buses to some of the beaches from the Ciutadella and we got taxis to restaurants) but next time we would probably get a car to have more freedom to explore.||We’d happily stay again! We had an absolutely amazing stay. The location is ideal—close to some of the best beaches on both the north and south sides of the island. The property itself is tranquil and beautifully maintained. The pool is large and inviting, with comfortable loungers that offer shade in the afternoon—perfect for relaxing after a day in the sun or at the beach. The poolside bar is also a great touch. The on-site restaurant is a must-visit. The crayfish ravioli was one of the best dishes we had during our two-week stay on the island. Breakfast was generous, with a buffet and a variety of hot menu options. We did encounter a slight issue with our room at the beginning of our stay. We had booked a Deluxe Terrace Suite but were initially placed in a room near the hotel entrance, which lacked the privacy and tranquility we were expecting. That particular room’s terrace was situated right beside the entrance and faced the parking lot, making it feel less secluded. From what I could tell, it seemed to be the only room in that category with this issue. Fortunately, the staff went above and beyond to resolve the situation, and we were moved to a proper Terrace Suite for the second half of our stay—which was absolutely amazing. The level of service from the staff was exceptional—it genuinely felt like five-star hospitality. Overall, I couldn’t recommend this hotel more. It was a truly special experience.

For those who are looking for peace and tranquility, yet within easy reach of local towns and beaches, the Rural Sant Ignasi is superb. They have a very premium looking pool, surrounded by trees, and a mix of shade or sun depending on your preference. Padel and tennis courts are also very well appointed. The breakfast and dinner are of an excellent standard, and the staff are both attentive and friendly. Overall we'd thoroughly recommend a stay.
