My room was really nice and clean, unfortunately not with sea view. |Breakfast was good with a lit og choises. |Lunch/dinner was not impressive, quite average actually. |The hotel is situated with a stunning view of the sea and the village below.

Too many glitches in their service. They have a nice roof top bar where they for some weird reason have decided to bother their guests (as other reviewers also point out) with the most hideous and slow smart phone self service. It takes forever to handle the order on the website and they accept very few payment options. They do not accept Amex and do not indicate other than 'Card' or the exclusively Swedish 'Swish' payment system so very limited options, especially for non-swedes. All in all the app order took about 15 minutes and three different cards to complete. All while three waiters were serving only 6-10 tables. Several tables needed help with the app. Please improve your web app, move away from Nets if they cannot handle people's payments and in general opt your service. A small plus though for choosing a web app over native apps. Restaurant food was so-so but again; staff had no clue about service. One example was not getting the wine until after the main dish. I had the meat and it was far from tender. Clean, quiet room with an okay bed.

Atmosphere and service excellent. ||Beds much too soft. ||Noisy group in the dining hall spoiled the experience and there was plenty of room to separate the tro kinds of guest (couple and business Group).||The 3 course dinners were not a good experience. Breakfast buffet was good.||||3 course dinner mediocre.

Way too much commotion. Paper thin walls between rooms. Renovation going on on a Saturday (?!??) - so much for a relaxed weekend getaway experience. Too bad really. Restaurant is fine. Hotel is way below acceptable standard. We used to be happy about this place, even recommended it to friends. Not any more. This will be our last visit. Many much better comparable hotels in the area.

Very cosy hotel and great view. Many nice areas inside to socialize. The food was also nice. Deer for dinner and Wallenbergare for lunch. Not to noisy and soft beds, I slept very well. Good enough breakfast. Good parking spaces around the hotel

This is the first time I've ever posted a public complaint, but my husband, daughter and I just had the most bizarre experience. After having forwarded a series of feedback about poor cleaning service to the reception staff on multiple occasions during our stay we came to the conclusion that the experience did not match the 21500 SEK we had prepaid for our visit. We asked the receptionist for a fair compensation and agreed on a symbolic sum covering our restaurant bills. What follows is the most bizarre experience where we as guests have been threatened by text messages from the hotel CEO, we have been accused of verbal assault and threatening behavior towards the receptionist on duty at the time of our check-out and have been urged to refund our compensation to avoid being reported to the police (!). One could look at this as an embarrassing farce, yet we are utterly shaken by this unbelievable experience of how Rusthållaregården treats dissatisfied guests.

You need to register a full account to order food through a QR code. The menu is simplistic. The view is fabulous however, and the staff is friendly and apologetic for the leadership Addendum - took an hour to get food and one of us didn’t get any

We visited Rusthållaregården for one-night stay with dinner booked in the restaurant.||The location is great with a nice view of the ocean from our room. The rooms have good standard and are well kept and clean. Staff in reception is nice and welcoming and breakfast was nice and of good quality. So far so good.||The dinner in the restaurant was a disappointment. We preordered food and we had a set time for our meal, still we needed to wait 50 minutes to get our meal served. That is not acceptable for any restaurant, and absolutely not if you claim to be an award-winning restaurant. (as in the advertisement on Bookings.com). When we tell the staff that we have waited far too long they say that they are sorry and offers us free coffee with the desert. If you really want to make up for a mistake you should give something substantial and not just a cup of coffee, that just makes it worse ||The short summery is that this hotel and restaurant is overpriced and struggles to live up to the promises they make
