We spent 2 days in this hotel as part of a cycling tour. They have a great setup for cyclists with ample bike storage space, a good restaurant with a good menu (maybe not as good for vegetarians) with lots of local specialties. ||The rooms are very spacious. In October the outdoor pool was chilly, but it was good when we used the sauna (extra charge for it).||Breakfast is plentiful with lots of options. ||The hotel itself is decorated with a lot of local art work that represents local places or mystical creatures or the sadness of a peasant's life.

Just returned from this wonderful hotel set at the foot of the highest mountain with fantastic views from our balcony. Perfect holiday for total relaxation. Very comfortable, traditional Sardinian room, extremely clean, comfy beds, flat screen television, air conditioning, coffee machine, lovely toiletries, towels & nice quality dressing gowns & slippers. Flights £56 return from Manchester, transfer 90 minutes. Hotel was perfect for anyone with worries regarding the current pandemic. Very spacious dining area which included an equally spacious veranda. So many places to relax with enough seating everywhere to keep a really good distance from other hotel guests, hand sanitiser everywhere & masks available on request. Well equipped gym, sauna, conference room, massage room & a welcoming cool swimming pool which was perfect in the 35 degree heat! Comfy sun beds with free towels & a lovely quaint pool bar. We noticed electric bikes available for hire & they also can organise a jeep trip but we didn’t have time. Next door to the hotel is a fantastic museum Eco Museo Della Montagna, we spent a couple of hours in there then we walked into Aritzo & had a personal tour of the sa bovida & very well preserved casa devilla. Food was amazing! Lovely bar area with piano & adjoining open air terrace which was lovely to sit for a quiet drink. Lovely, knowledgeable staff, very helpful & polite. We will definitely return for longer next time. The flowers in the grounds are magnificent!

We really enjoyed our stay. Our rooms were large and spotlessly clean, with a lovely view from the terrace. Breakfast was good by Italian standards and we enjoyed the freshly made ravioli for dinner.|The staff and owners were exceptional. We unfortunately arrived without our bags due to a baggage belt failure at Gatwick. The owners and staff were so kind in repeatedly phoning Olbia airport to try to track our missing bags. We would willingly return.

Beautiful, perfect hotel. All the details of the place, surroundings and rooms are very thought through and meticulously created and looked after. |The rooms are pretty | The view is beautiful |The place is full of blooming flowers, decorations. Atmosphere is great. ||The placehas a bery large swimming pool with lovely seating, colourful cussions, nice place to relax. ||The most notable is the service which is very professional and very helpful. The people really stand out and create a unique atmosphere||We met some people from the local village who were very welcoming. Aritzo is a small village of about 700 inhabitants. ||The hotel is right next to a pleasant eco museum with items from the past showing way of life. ||Around the hotel there are places to go trekking, run or bike. Wide paths with easily walking trails. ||Would like to come back in spring for kayaking.

My husband, our 7 year old son and me stayed 3 nights and we had a good time.||Very friendly and helpfull staff.||Breakfast which was included was nice with beautiful cakes||We had dinner at the hotel once, Sardinian multi course meal was a bit too much for us but it was nice. One night we went to Le Dado restaurant nearby which was very good, nice service and very cheap but basic looking place.||Pool too cold to swim in for my son and I.||Amazing views from our room.||Lot of climbing stairs

Set in fantastic hills and mostly gentle (6%) mountains, with good food. Special thanks to Marco for emailing a photo to reassure me my precious bike had arrived safely by courier and, more important, for printing off and attaching labels for the return journey after we left (I couldn't because internet was down throughout Aritzo). Also for explaining local culture with a passion: murales (the outdoor wall paintings in the villages), Sciola (an artist and musician, they have one of his works), and Vermentino (white wine).
