Hotel Sa Volta

The food in the bar restaurant is really good. Over two nights we had steak, grilled calamari, pork fillet in a sauce and small calamari starters. The wine is good quality and a coffee with brandy (cognac) to finish was delightful. Also the beer and Aperol spritz were great. The food here really completed a great holiday.

Small hotel, centre of town.||We liked: conveniently situated for bars, restaurants and beach. Decent breakfast. Lady on reception extremely helpful. Bed was comfortable.||We didn’t like: noisy at night and first thing in the morning. No on-site parking.

This was the most pleasant hotel we stayed,family run hotel and you really feel part of a family,stuff was so helpful in any thing you could need,great rooms,very good breakfast ,best location,swimming pool on the roof,in short,excellent hotel!! Hoping to return

Lovely family run hotel in a central location 50 yards from a small beach at Es Pujols. Lots of bars and restaurants within walkung distance. Lovely pool and jacuzzi on roof top terrace. High quality breakfast buffet with eggs cooked to order and a complimentary drink on arrival. Rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable.

A very welcoming family run hotel. The staff are lovely. The position, in town close to the beach and numerous restaurants, is perfect. The breakfast was lovely. The rooftop swimming pool is a quiet escape from the bustling town streets below.

This was our first time visiting Formentera. We travelled with friends who regularly visit the island. All of us were so impressed with this lovely hotel. Its location is perfect for exploring the lovely town of Es Pujols and central to explore this wonderful island.|Our room was spotlessly clean as was the hotel. Breakfast was delicious with options of freshly cooked hot food.|Staff were all helpful and friendly especially on reception. |Pool towels wee provided for use at the pool or at the beach, they also provided us with a beach bag.|Although we did not have the chance to use the pool area, it looked so nice with great views.|We will definitely recommend and return to this hotel.

An excellent family run hotel punching well above its 3* rating. Great location, close to beach/taxis/amenities with friendly staff and excellent breakfast. We stayed as part of a walking holiday and would thoroughly recommend the hotel.

Sa Volta is the perfect place to stay in Formentara. The hotel is located in Es Pujols, a city on the coast. The hotel is a block from a wonderful beach surrounded by small shops and dining options and there are views of the sea from my room as well as from the roof top pool and jacuzzi. The rooms are natural in their decor which fits the island and well equipped. The bedding lovely and air conditioner quiet. There is even room service free of charge from the bar and restaurant. Buffet breakfast has a wide variety-I especially enjoyed the local figs this visit. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They provide local information, suggestions for beaches and dining and even filled my water bottle with cool water. Between the daily drag beach towels, the welcoming lobby and the giant TVs in the bar for soccer matches, it was an exquisite stay. I met a guest who has been coming here for over 20 years and I understand why. I hope to return next year.
