Tucked away in the vibrant heart of La Paz, this budget-friendly gem boasts cozy rooms, a bustling restaurant, and unbeatable city views—perfect for adventures!
At first I was very disappointed with this hotel. We decided to spend a little bit more than usual to get a good rest after a big hike and expected more from this place… the room wasn’t very large, no hot shower (after a difficult 3 days trek, that’s not great), view on a brick wall. The extra bucks we spent were not worth it. Then we had breakfast and that really helped me justify the spending. It was an amazing breakfast buffet, the best we had so far and the location is great too.

Brilliant location, very central to everything. Room was clean and fresh sheets. They moved rooms for us because of a constant high pitch whine on the 5th floor. Reception were very helpful when we needed them.

I stayed for 4 nights here, excellent room (just don't pick the small single room!), hot shower, location, service and breakfast are all good, I will highly recommend it-- you may need to book in advance, the rooms are quite full here.

A wonderful hotel in the middle of everything... the personel is very helpful, accommodating any situations. Booking can be done on the spot. You'll never be left stranded. Good bkfst, nice coffee place, good options for dinner, room for luggage!! Very important if you're in and out... doing trips, climbing mountains. Very good balance between the cost and the practicality

A very budget friendly hotel indeed with the best location ever in La Paz. |We had a first room on the second floor facing a brick wall which I didn’t like so we moved to the fifth floor with an amazing view of the city and lots of sunshine which was great.|I loved the fact that it had restaurants and cafes on site ( excellent ones too) and that it was so conveniently situated. On the map it seemed close enough to the witches market but in reality it is literally around the corner. You can also just walk around and get to the teleferico and the main squares really easily. |Yet the best thing about this hotel is the staff. They are all so nice and helpful I was stunned. Really I would like to thank them all for making my stay so pleasant.|If I can go back to this city one day, I know where I’ll stay.

The location is very convenient, and the value for money is great. They also have a cafeteria and many food options.
During our stay in La Paz we faced a challenging situation, and the staff, especially the manager, went above and beyond to help our group. Their professionalism and empathy were truly impressive. The manager took charge and coordinated everything, keeping us informed and reassured throughout. I highly recommend Sagarnaga Hotel for their exceptional care and dedication to guest satisfaction.

Our room was very dated, everything was quite old, bed had indentation in the middle so not very comfortable. They were doing building works next door so super loud too during the day (windows are thin so you hear everything). Positives- breakfast was brilliant, a lot of fresh fruit, eggs, bread.

Location is amazing, so central and felt quite safe.
Room was a bit dusty but very quiet considering the busy area the hotel is located
Staff not the friendliest but efficient
