Hotel Sagarnaga

If I could give 6 stars to this hotel, I would. The staff is amazing and everyone was super friendly. We were in town during a national protest and shutdown of the roads, and the staff accommodated our changing plans with a smile. The location is fantastic, right by the tourist heart of La Paz. And the restaurants downstairs have great food and a friendly staff. If I ever return to La Paz, I will absolutely be staying here again!

This hotel is centrally located in a good area in La Paz. So we were disappointed when the Deluxe Room we had booked turned out to be small and cramped right beside the elevator which we heard going all night long. Our window looked out on to a brick wall and the tiny shower in the bathroom had mold in it. Not a Deluxe room by any means!

Very well situated, amazing staff, good restaurant.|They are flexible to store your luggage and arrange a taxi or tours if needed.|I definitely recommend this hotel, the Bolivian Empandas are delicious so is the food in the restaurant. I could not find some really nice restaurant around so I was happy to have this restaurant service the whole day.|There was even some entertainment from a small group of young musicians, it adds up to the service and quality.|I felt very comfortable, had a room on the 5th floor with a magnificent view. Everyone has a bright smile, happy feeling |Highly recommended

Clean, accessible and relatively modern accomodation. We stayed here for one night with a late check-in and early check-out. When the door is locked, look for the doorbell on de left.

Good enough, but not great. The room had a great view from the fourth floor, but it was cold, with no heating. The shower was hot and good. The most annoying thing was a glass panel above the door to the room which allowed loads of light in from the corridor, meaning the room was never even slightly dark. Noise insulation also non-existent - could hear the alarm in the next room. Breakfast was good. Location is great. Reception staff were not particularly friendly. Restaurant staff very friendly.

Nice central city hotel with a good breakfast and restaurant. The shower was only luke warm though which isn't great when it's 7 degrees at night when I wanted a shower before bed.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is perfect, walking distance to everything. The rooms are nice, could be cleaner though as I found many long hairs in the room and bathroom as well as on the pillow. However I still rate the hotel 5 stars as I had a great stay.

Location is perfect with everything you need right at your doorstep. The hotel itself could do with a deep clean (shower wasn’t very nice or hot most days) but otherwise not bad. Reception kinda just ignored you most of the time. I think if you plan on being out and about most days it’s fine for the location and price.
