I recently attended a conference at this hotel and had a very positive experience. The staff were professional, courteous, and well-organized throughout the event. The location is great, easy to access and centrally situated. The food provided during the conference was also very good – fresh, well-prepared, and nicely presented. Overall, the venue was well-suited for professional events and I would definitely recommend it for conferences or business meetings.

Does not feel like a true 5-star — outdated and poorly maintained ⭐ Rating: 2/5 I have stayed at many other 5-star hotels, and the difference compared to Sahara Star is huge. Other 5-star properties genuinely give you the feel of luxury, but this one does not. During my stay, there was a fest inside the hotel creating a lot of noise. Even after being shifted to a higher category room, the bathroom exhaust wasn’t working, there was water logging, and the overall upkeep was poor. The property feels very outdated — furniture, carpets, paint, fixtures, and even TVs all look old and not maintained. It completely lacks the polish and comfort expected from a luxury hotel. In comparison to other 5-star hotels in Mumbai, Sahara Star falls far behind. It urgently needs renovation and better maintenance to justify its 5-star tag.

The bed was super comfortable, and the view of the airport runway added an exciting touch to the stay. The soundproofing is excellent – you feel close to the airport without the noise. The dining options are exceptional – from global cuisines to authentic Indian flavors. Especially loved the experience at Mabruk and Ocean – The Private Dining Room with its aquarium setting. The breakfast buffet is lavish with plenty of variety for all tastes. The staff deserves a special mention – they are extremely courteous, attentive, and go the extra mile to make your stay memorable. Whether you’re visiting for business, leisure, or a special occasion, Sahara Star offers everything you’d expect from a five-star experience.
