"Contemporary touches meet Moroccan influences at this hilltop escape overlooking the medina.Homemade pastries greet you on arrival in the neutral-hued guest rooms, which balance floor-to-ceiling windows, sleek furnishings, and glass-walled marble baths with brightly patterned rugs, decorative vases, and Moorish lamps. Theminimalist hammam is the highlight at the hotel’s Givenchy spa, while the Atlas mountain backdrop serves as eye candy beyond the chaise-lined infinity pool. Should you seek more spirited diversions, a stylish rooftop bar pulses with live music and DJ sets on the weekends. Sip champagne as the sun sets over Fes, then sample local delicacies like quail and almond tagine or roasted cockerel stuffed with raisins and semolina by candlelight at Amaraz restaurant."

Hotel Sahrai

"After a long day exploring the narrow alleyways and medieval souks of Fez's ancient fortified medina, there is no more stylish place to escape to than this newcomer. More like an urban resort than a city hotel, the property is perched over the Ville Nouvelle on a grassy hilltop with two glorious pools and a Givenchy spa. While the creamy white toned rooms, outfitted with king size beds, flat screen tvs and glassed-in rain showers, are like minimal designer lofts, while the public spaces, with carved limestone walls and tiled fountains, are very sensuously Moroccan. The service at the hotel left something to be desired except for the man who checked us in at 11pm on 27/11/25, who was incredibly kind and helpful. He went above and beyond and the rest of the staff should follow his lead in terms of what great service looks like. We stayed at this hotel 2 nights at the tail end of our morroco trip and it was kind of a let down in terms of the overall service after having been to several hotels and places with amazing hospitality. Pros: -Nice rooms although a tad small -Great breakfast buffet on par with a 5 star -If you have a rental car the parking is so easy so the location worked for us although being outside the city Cons: -the area right outside the hotel is very sketchy and not good to walk anywhere even if you want to and tons of trash burning. Not in the hotels control but just be aware you need to taxi or drive if you want to leave the hotel -the restaurant service on the main floor was questionable. We had to hunt someone down to seat us and take our order and they acted like we were bothering them. Didn't give us napkins or anything and prices were really high so you expect decent service. -the outdoor pool really should be heated as it's maintained year round and is a 5star. Even rural 4 star hotels had their outdoor pool heated -everytime we asked the staff a question at the front desk they acted like we were a nuisance -they were really resistant to accommodating a 2 hour late check out even though we had a basic standard room -the service level here I would say is 4 star at best. If we didn't have a rental car I would have stayed somewhere else. -there was a letter on our bed addressed to another person and the carpet was stained and the attention to detail just wasn't there Overall this hotel wasn't bad by any means but it just did not live up to the standard or expectations they are trying to set

Very nice hotel, with amazing views over the heart of the city. The hotel has a great rooftop bar where you can enjoy dinner and/or drinks. The rooms, lobby areas and restaurants were comfortable and beautiful. But the best part from our experience was indeed the service from Nabil. He was very helpful, professional and kind. We highly recommend this hotel.

Rooms are very nice though one couple in our group had a small room they didn't like. Service is very good. Jungle Bar is too loud for my liking. It is very difficult to converse there. Music at one-quarter the level would still be better. They have beautiful views and also two swimmining pools.

This modern American-style hotel is located on a hill above Fes with nice views of the city. However, you cannot walk anywhere and must take a car to Medina or anywhere you would want to go. The rooms are pretty enough and well appointed (robes, nespresso machine, many with views), but I would have much preferred to be in town at a place with classic Moroccan architecture. The included breakfast was lovely, but dinner was mediocre. The gym is a good size, but sooooo poorly equipped and was insanely hot!

The place is very beautiful and the location is perfect as well. The service is great. I really liked this. I want a reservation, not just an overnight stay. I want to spend the day without the need for a room in the restaurant or cafe. I just want the details.

The waitress, Meryeme, was very nice and attentive and answered all of our questions about the menu. The food was very good, we definitely suggest the batata harra. Everything we ordered was tasty. The atmosphere is relaxed but clean and upscale. The manager, Nocair, keeps a high standard for the food and the cleanliness.

Hotel Sahrai is a 5-Star facility that doesn’t live up to its stars. Yes, the hotel and facilities are beautiful and our room was attractive, spotless, and spacious. But … One day we had no bath towels, and another we had no washcloths. Breakfasts were not up to the standards of a 5-star hotel. Also, why mop floors and clean windows in the restaurant while serving breakfast? This was a nice stay, but it could and should have been better.
