Great experience, the workers are so kind and we felt incredibly comfortable. You may do a lot of walking/taking the metro to major attractions but the neighborhood is cute and more affordable. Will come back next visit if prices stay similar. Lobby is very comfortable with nice seats. It was very cold but if it’s nice out there is a great garden with seating. I will say one thing is the sink in our room had water pressure of a NYC hose and a sink the size of a salad bowl so it was hard not to splash water everywhere… but in reality.. who really cares?

The hotel staff is unprofessional and NOT accommodating at all to travelers. This hotel double booked our room after we declined to stay upon arrival due to unsanitary and unacceptable conditions. The hotel pictures online and in person are 100 percent NOT as the pictures show. The pictures do not show the unfinished fixings in the rooms. the lift/elevator that only holds 2 people at a time or will fail to the smallest hallways ever seen and the fact that the rooms don’t accommodate large luggage or have any racks to put your luggage on. Unfortunately this is the truth. Also the shower floor had MOLD growing in the corners along with the sulfur smell of the water. Mold is any hotel room or bathroom is a health hazard and unacceptable as I had booked 4 nights at this hotel and was already coughing after entering the room. The fact that we didn’t even stay at this hotel for an hour and they stole 4 nights with of our money and booked it to someone else while taking our money is disgusting. Don’t stay at this hotel for your own health and safety.

Aesthetically nice, modern, and clean hotel. The reception staff was kind and allowed us to leave our luggage before check-in. The problem was the room (205, second floor). One person in our group couldn’t come for health reasons, but the hotel refused to accept the cancellation. The assigned room was a double adapted for disabled guests, with an extra bed placed in front of the kettle and the window, making it practically impossible to move around. The shower was just a curtain around a corner with a handheld shower and toilet, and the floor didn’t drain properly: after showering, the water spread all the way to the door. Going in later to use the toilet meant getting completely wet. No floor squeegee or slippers provided. For the price paid and the hotel’s category, it was a disappointing and uncomfortable experience.

The room are not the top quality very small, the shower were part of the room and broken. I would say the worst part was the whole bathroom shower. I went into my friend room and they had worst shower quality with the head broken and falling appart, the door didnt fully close so water was getting all over the floor and the pummel wasnt holding in place.

We loved our stay there, very nice rooms, we stayed at the 6th floor and the apartment had a really nice view in the neighbourhood. Daily cleaning service and really helpful personnel.

I rate it 5 star bcuz it was very nice but the shower is VERY complicated 😅 bcuz usually u need to put the tap the right side to make the water hot but it was cold soo the left side is hot I hope u understand 😶

Well, we paid for a so-called "Triple room", we were given a tiny room, with a double bed & a single bed. No refrigerator as mentioned in the document, 1 & a half toilet rolls, 1 tiny electric kettle, no milk, just sachets of coffee & tea. I'm already not liking France, since we were nearly scammed €70 @ the airport for a taxi ride that eventually costed us €20. Beware, do your home work with Google maps, quite helpful, as in this case with the hotel & taxi. Let's see how the stay progresses.

Rooms on the smaller size, but keept very clean. Great service. We asked for an early check-in, and not only were they able to accommodate, but they did it earlier than expected/requested. Not quite downtown, but taking into account the Parisian public transportation system - close enough. If you love walking, it's within 30 - 40 minutes to the Eiffel Tower. Will recommend it to friends, and I will definitely consider going there again.

Yelp
My wife and I stayed in Paris for a week on vacation. While we were here we stayed at this hotel for three days. I wish we stayed longer. Located in the south west part of Paris. This was the nicest place we stayed in Paris. As for the price, we paid a lot more staying in different places within the city. The rooms were nice. I posted some pics. Modern, clean and the hotel was very close to bars, restaurants, bakeries, bus stops, a grocery store, a post office and about a mile from the metro. Everything was within walking distance. Which was a plus if you didn't have a rental car. There was even a shopping mall that we visited about a mile and a half away from the hotel. The room also had a small fridge. Unfortunately, the fridge only chilled anything you put in it. There is also no freezer. As with many places in Paris. Drinks are served chilled not ice cold. They also do not serve ice. Which is a bummer. I prefer my drinks ice cold like my water, soda and beer. The room did come with a nice small flat screen TV. The only channels that were on the TV were mostly French speaking channels with two English speaking news channels. It was awesome to see "Malcolm In The Middle" and "The Simpsons" in French. Doesn't matter what language these two shows are in. They are funny as hell. Across the street is also one of the best restaurants I have been to in Paris- A La Bonne Cave. Which I will review separately. The best meal I had in Paris was at this restaurant. As far as the stay at Hotel Saint Charles. The only bad thing was we had breaksfast every morning here thinking it was free. It was $14 per person and we stayed 3 days. So for my wife and I, it was $84 for all three days total. It was $84 we didn't plan to spend. The breakfast itself wasn't too bad. They had all kinds of bread, cheeses, fresh squeezed orange juice, scrambled eggs, fruit, cold meats, coffee and tea. It wasn't bad but if I knew it was $14 a person then I would of probably eaten breakfast at the hotel only once maybe twice but not all three days. Breakfast by the way is the only meal that they serve. No lunch or dinner but they have a bar lounge that serves cocktails throughout the day. The hotel also has a outdoor patio, no pool. Where you can sit and relax. My wife and I however didn't really use the patio. The weather was kind of wet and cold. We did more sight seeing away from the hotel. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again when I am in Paris. The staff is nice and courteous. The price to stay here is very competitive compared to other places you could stay. Has a great shower. Other places we stayed at had a bathtub no shower. For me, a shower is a must. The hotel has a elevator. Some older hotels have only a spiral staircase. If you have luggage it's a pain going up and down. A very nice hotel. If your in Paris. Give this place a try.

Yelp
If your are looking for a reasonable hotel in Paris - that's the place to be. Beside of the hotel rooms, which are now kind of stylish (after renovating everything), the neighborhood is very typical and no so tourist driven. Clean and practical rooms w/ the opportunity to open up the window.
