Amazing little hotel in this quiet village. Very relaxed atmosphere. The location is fantastic being yards from the sea with private access to the shore. And the sunsets are outstanding. Rooms are comfortable, clean and great value. Breakfast at EUR 7 pp also great value with freshly brewed coffee and pastries. And the owners are very helpful. We will definitely be back!

We arrived in Bastia, Corsica on the overnight ferry, and decided the l'ile rousse was a bit too touristy for us, so continued a little further down the coast to the pretty beach village of Algajora. The Hotel StJoseph was beautiful-private parking, a large, comfortable room, with French windows looking out to sea. Wonderful hot shower, a quiet environment, but just off the main road, with three very nice restaurants within 200m. The local train, running from l'ile Rousse to Calvi, was a 2-minute walk away. Breakfast, included in the room rate, was also great - generous servings of fresh baguette, orange juice and patisseries, lots of hot, fresh coffee or tea. Our hosts, and the family dog, were friendly and helpful. All in all, a great experience. My husband was not very well when we arrived, and we spent an extra night, allowing him the peace and quiet he needed to recover. Walking around the little bay was very relaxing, and it is a great little beach for swimming.

Everything was perfect from the warm greeting from the staff, the room was big, well furnished, fantastic sea view from the window, very nice bathroom, good shower, ample parking. I stayed for 3 days to soak up the quality of this place. It is quite rare to have such a great room for the money. I cannot believe that this is only a 2 star hotel. Breakfast was good, great coffee. I highly recommend this place and I will return for a longer stay on my next trip to Corsica. A word or warning, I stayed in March during the low season and there were no restaurants or bars open in the village. There is a supermarket. I was content with a picnic in the room with a bottle of wine but if you were looking for a meal you would need a car to travel to the nearest larger town.

This hotel is just perfect! A family hotel with two stars, but it's so much more than that. I've stayed in room nr 2 and 3. They are exactly the same with a rather big new bathroom. The shower is the best I've experienced in Corsica. The family is very friendly and the breakfast is simple but great. You have to stay here!

Had 5 nights here in May 18, what a great little hotel. We stayed in the main building (I think these are the upgrade rooms).||||The sea view from the rooms is beautiful, you can open the balcony style doors in the room a sleep with the sound of the Med!||||The rooms are to a very high modern standard, much more than we were expecting.||||Breakfast is extra but only 6€ a head so great value. We had yogurt, eggs, bread & jam, and pastry's and ate them in the garden. Pleasant way to start the day.||||Would definitely go back to this hotel, had a fantastic easy-going stay, thanks!

Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and had a very pleasant stay. The room is slightly on the small side and there was just enough room to open up one suitcase on the floor in the room. However the bathroom was the nicest one that we stayed in during our time in Corsica - lovely powerful walk in shower, large sink, and a bidet! ||||The room was very comfortable, clean and well presented. Also the place has free parking||||My only gripe was that the wi-fi was extremely slow - I love my internet and so this was a big deal for us! ||||Overall though this place is well located - a short drive to Calvi and Ile Rousse. A few minutes walk to a patisserie and a Spar supermarket and around 10 minute walk to the beach.||||Would recommend this place!

Our 6th stay here and we wouldn't go anywhere else in Algajola. A great little hotel. Good location for amenities, breakfast with sea view, parking on site, easy walk to the 2 beaches. Modern spotless air coditioned rooms. Corsican style garden with tables, chairs and loungers. Always a friendly helpful welcome from the management. Davia the dog and the tortoises are a bonus.

Small hotel overlooking the bay...a very well appointed bed and breakfast. Very near to the railway station, which you are going to use to get a out the many beaches on the area and to visit the towns...unless you want to use a car and in the towns fight for parking. Warm greeting from the owner. TV and air con in the rooms
