A nice hotel in the old town. Full of charm. The room was average size with a comfortable bed and good quality bedding. Quite quirky and cozy. It had tv and wifi. The bathroom was clean with a fairly good shower. The breakfast was basic but adequate. The staff on reception were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Colmar. The staff at this hotel was kind and professional, and the hotel was right in the middle of everything in Colmar. The building is ancient, and the rooms have been fitted into the ancient construction, so our bath did not have a stand-up shower, for example. The value was good, though, and the room very clean. The streets outside were deadly quiet after sundown, so we opened the windows and enjoyed the night air. Breakfast was great the first morning, but the second morning we were there, some items showed signs of being left over (fruit cups, for example). Overall, a nice hotel and a good experience.

We stayed at Hotel Saint Martin in Colmar, and it was a lovely experience. The hotel is full of charm and located right in the heart of the old town – perfect for exploring the beautiful streets and atmosphere.|A small downside was that almost all the restaurants in the area closed by 21:30, so we ended up ordering a pizza to the hotel. But honestly, it turned into part of the charm!|The night receptionist didn’t speak anything but French – which just made the experience feel even more authentic. I still managed to order two "grosse bières," so all was well 🍺😉|Highly recommend this hotel if you're visiting Colmar – and I’d happily stay here again!

It's totally a perfect location in the center of Colmar old town. Just 4 minutes walk to the famous Mansion Pfister. 5 minutes walk to Petit Venise. And all other attractions are also in walking distance. It is surrounded by lots of restaurants, lots of choices. A casino shop just at opposite side of the hotel, you can easily buy drinking water at a reasonable price. If you do not open the windows, you will not hear a sound. Air conditioning now is provided inside the room, with no fear to the heat. The room 24 is big and clean. The size of the bathroom is also big and clean. We try the breakfast, not much to choose but already enough. The lady in the restaurant is very kind and helpful.||The rest of the staff was also very kind and willing to help. Definitely will visit this hotel again when in Colmar

A great location in Colmar - in the heart of the old town surrounded by great restaurants and walking distance to all old town has to offer. The rooms are average in size and decor but functional enough for an historic property. The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful when I encountered a problem with a noxious odor in my room coming from the shower drain. Unfortunately they could not fix the problem the first night which to me was unacceptable as they were able to resolve it the next day after I slept through the smell. More attention to this issue should have been made or change my room as originally requested. It definitely set a negative tone for the rest of our stay.

The best thing about this hotel is the staff they are helpful and unbelievably friendly. Breakfast is good value with machine made coffee [Automatic]. Rooms are small but with some parts of the hotel being built in the year 1360 it makes sense. Very well located. We would stay again.

Historic hotel right in old town center. Great air conditioning and friendly staff! Hotel is right on a square with lots of good restaurants just steps away. Some rooms require walking up a few flights of stairs but we really liked enjoyed our experience.

I love this place! The staff were all amazingly friendly and happy to speak in English or French. The location is unbeatable in Colmar, walking distance to everything. Parking was a little annoying, but a 5 minute walk to Sainte-Josse wasn’t really a big deal; and very cheap at €3/day. The bed was a bit cramped for 2 people (it seemed like a full or double by American standards) but wouldn’t be a problem for others. All in all the location and customer service make it an easy 5 stars.

Stayed at the Hotel Saint Martin this weekend PROS-staff was courteous -bathroom was recently updated -plenty of hot water, good pressure -fantastic location CONS-no WiFi and no apparent urgency or intent to fix it -Rooms are dated and lack charm -carpets need to be replaced in rooms -no toiletries (other than soap)

This hotel is absolutely fantastic. An old hotel with the "Alsace-feel", it was great for me and my wife. One of the cleanest hotels that we have ever stayed, excellent service and perfect central location since we were there for the Christmas Market (Les Marchés de Noël). My view was the inner courtyard, which was perfect since a real "view" would have been to the Grand Rue and probably would have been noisy (or maybe not who knows). We did not experimented the breakfast (12 euros), but we literally went to the place next door for breakfast, which was fantastic. Highly recommended, especially for those planning on doing the Les Marchés de Noël.

This hotel definitely has the spooky, "witchy" feel of Colmar down to a key. The dark purple rooms complete with dark wooden 2 poster beds gives the hotel a grand and noble feel with a hint of magic. Even the layout of the hotel still bewilders me, it looks pretty simple from the outside but once entering things can get a bit confusing, so pay attention to where your room is, or you may never find your way out! The Reception leads into a small outdoor courtyard where breakfast is served from 7am to 11am. Then the hotel splits into 2 winding staircases leading to the adjacent rooms. I loved the unique feel to this venue since it is far from the main stream ordinary hotels that are getting a little boring. A very pleasant and comfortable stay with an added hint of mystery!
