Hotel Saint Paul

I had an excellent experience during my stay at Hotel Saint Paul. My plane arrived from São Paulo without my luggage ( a frequent mishap on that route it seems), but the help from the night porter at 2 o'clock in morning supplying assistance and getting me to my room was much appreciated. The staff was always extremely polite and very helpful both with domestic matters and matters of cultural significance in a Southamerican metropolis. The beds are huge, the aircondition adjustable to any temperature, the bathroom are sparkling and frequently cleaned. The breakfast is excellent with three warm meals, bread and 5-6 types of sliced fruit. In addition to coffee they had a large variety of Brazilian juices. And the restaurant open at night serves both basic and more specialized meals. Considering its central location, the very good service and the pleasant tone of voice at the reception I have no problem giving this hotel four large stars.

Room was a decently large size. And bathroom was big. Only issue while there was the elevator broke and we had to use the service elevator and the car parking garage was not easy to get into and out of

This hotel is in perfect location. The stacf is very nice, friendly, very accommodating and welcoming. Breakfast is delicious. Would definitely stay here again.

Good: Location next to Amazon Theater and good restaurants, 20min walk to City Market, AC, bed, shower, breakfast, cleaning, staff. Cons: Elevator needs repair, gym has some issues

Receptionist not able to provide side by side rooms despite requested upfront and very early. Cleanliness of rooms also poor. Hairs on the bed, waste baskets not emptied. Breakfast ok but nothing to be remembered. Hotel is located about 259m from the opera house which is the best part of the deal.

Probably the best hotel in my trip - rooms were clean and big, and the breakfast very good. Unfortunately we just stayed one night!

Good hotel! Central location. Only 5-10 mins walking from city centre. Friendly staff and willing to help. Best shower I have had up till now in Brazil. Spacious rooms. Breakfast is ok.
