Hotel Saint Paul

Receptionist not able to provide side by side rooms despite requested upfront and very early. Cleanliness of rooms also poor. Hairs on the bed, waste baskets not emptied. Breakfast ok but nothing to be remembered. Hotel is located about 259m from the opera house which is the best part of the deal.

Good hotel! Central location. Only 5-10 mins walking from city centre. Friendly staff and willing to help. Best shower I have had up till now in Brazil. Spacious rooms. Breakfast is ok.

Very good hotel situated only 5 minute walk from the centre. Sufficiently varied breakfasts, clean and spacious rooms, small but excellent and clean swimming pool.

We used this hotel two times during our stay in the Amazon region. The staff is friendly, and the front desk usually has English-speaking personnel. The beds and shower were excellent. Located near the center, it is easy to walk out for a meal at one of many restaurants nearby. There is even a small pool to cool off after a warm day. Breakfast was fine with plenty of options. The place is used a lot, so book in advance if you dont want to be disappointed.

Service excellent. Room comfortable but a little shabby

I am staying here right now and although the room is good an clean and i have no complaints generally. My room has a tray with tea and coffee, but no kettle, when i asked for one they say sorry this room does not come with one. There are dogs incessantly barking on an adjoining property. Surely if you are a hotel you do something about that. I wont stay here again. Its not bad, its just not great.

Staff is friendly and rooms are clean. There is a decent pool too. The service is beyond bad ( 55min to checking) and it’s common to have 20 ppl groups checking in with a single staff. The lobby is a mess with bags and ppl all over. The internet is slow and intermittent. Restaurant closes on weekends. At least rooms are clean. Only recommend if you really want the pool or everything else is full.

We stayed here the night before and the night after our Amazon tour. The rooms were well equipped and comfortable. The location is good and only a few minutes walk to the square where the opera house, bars and restaurants are located. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was adequate.
