We had a very enjoyable and relaxing three-day stay in this delightful boutique hotel, ably run by Régis, who seemed to be at the desk from dawn to late. The breakfast was excellent and our room most comfortable. The decor of the hotel is most pleasing for those of us who appreciate well-maintained, historic buildings. We liked that our bathroom had two sinks – no taking turns brushing teeth! Regis made parking in this part of the old city easy, inviting us to leave the car where we could (usually in the small parking area of the hotel) and give him the key. In this way he could fit an astonishing number of cars into a small space. Two bonuses – the hotel is less than a minute on foot away from the Place St. Pierre with lots of dining options (try the Bistrot de la Place – excellent), and Régis cares for several cats (we never knew exactly how many) which nevertheless remain outside. In all, delightful. (As an aside, try the terrific restaurant l'Essentiel, a few minutes away on foot, where we enjoyed a most delicious dinner.)
