An okay option for a quick stay. I would not like to spend time in the room. The bed was comfortable and at the first glance it looked well cleaned, but they have missed the details (like the wall close to the bed). The bed was put into the corner which isn't optimal if you are 2 people. Plus for hot water in the shower, with good pressure, and for free morning coffee. No safety available. Cash only. Spanish speaking only.

A huge 'Thank you!' to Jose and Libertad! They were lovely, friendly hosts for our group of friends during our stay in Samana. Our group of three friends reserved a "double" room (which contains two queen-size beds) for three nights during Dominican Independence day weekend. The facilities were beautiful and very clean and comfortable. Housekeeping cleaned the room once a day and provided us with fresh linens each time. The room was larger than what I expected from the pictures shown, and the bedroom and bathroom contain good-quality furniture. There was hot water in the shower that didn't run out, and the AC was strong. Fresh coffee was provided every morning in the common room downstairs, and there was also cold filtered water available, which helped us a lot during our exploring around Samana. ||The hotel is centrally located, and it was easy enough to walk to where we wanted to go within the city, and we had a vehicle to explore some beautiful places farther from the city. The only two drawbacks were the internet, which had a weak wifi signal in our room (furthest at the end of the hall), and the price, which was advertised on the website as $35 per night, but turned out to be $53/night because it was the weekend and a holiday. ||Overall, it was a great experience, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Nice hotel close to everything. Located in downtown Samana. Staff and owner were very attentive. Rooms airconditioned and clean has small fridge for your beer. Will be back!

I was pleasantly surprise with this hotel. My family and I were exploring the DR country and we ended up in Samana. We looked up this hotel and it had one of the best reviews and better price for what we were looking for. We stayed there one night. Aside from making sure the beds are comfortable, the air conditioner is functioning and everything is clean but One of the things I focus on when I stay in any hotel is the cleanliness of the bathroom. And this bathroom was cleaner than any high star hotel I’ve ever stayed at. There was no mold on the grout and no hair, of any kind, from previous guests. The hotel is walking distance from “el Malecon”. They don’t have parking for themselves but we were able to park right in front of the hotel and the overnight staff watched our vehicle. I will definitely come back and stay again

Most interesting thing was the beds. They had a different firmness to each, so my wife could enjoy the tougher mattress while I slept in the softer one. Its within easy walking distance of many restaurants and the boardwalk. We did the whale tours and the distance was not far. In fact it was a pleasant morning stroll

This is a great little place, and well worth the price! It was very clean, and the staff was so friendly. They made me feel quite at home, and were so patient with my sub-par Spanish that I insisted on using because I am trying to learn. :) My only complaint is that the wifi was a fairly weak, and it made it hard to get work done. But if you are just there to relax, it will be great.

Outstanding nice hotel 3 minute walk to Samana Bay. Customer service was awesome. Price for Queen bed $38/US Dollars per night for two people. Clean room, nice comfy bed, Wi-Fi, A/C very cold, and clean bathroom with glass enclosed shower/hotwa water. Highly recommended.

Our room was big, clean, comfortable, and well lit. Everything worked well and it was very quiet. It also has a good location just a short walk from the main tourist area. Staff was pleasant and attentive. None that we dealt with spoke much English but it was not a problem.
