Booked a last minute break and went here having not read any of the reviews. I very much have mixed reviews for this place as some things were great and others not so great. So let’s start with the positives, the hotel itself is clean, and the room we had was basic however spacious and clean. We had 2 bedrooms both with 3 beds in despite it only being 4 of us so this was great! We had a lovely balcony with a table and 2 chairs. The rooms had a decent hairdryer, soap, shampoo and the showers had great pressure. The room was clean and generally comfortable.|| The food was good, there was a good choice every night and the puddings were nice. The card system with the drinks is a bit of a pain as you have to take your glasses back to the bar to get your card back and no one actually told us about this. |The staff- some were amazing and went above and beyond, particularly the staff in the restaurant. They work really hard, one boy was so nice to my little boy, he really stood out and showed exceptional service. Some of the staff weren’t so happy and accommodating however such as the ones on the bar, the woman serving really could have been a bit friendlier and smiled once in a while. If I’m honest there were more grumpy members of staff that friendly ones but the ones that were helpful were really accommodating.| The pool was fine, clean, there was a children’s part but not so great for younger children. The main part of the pool was all very deep luckily my son is a good swimmer so this was ok. There was a play area which was fine. |The entertainment was AWFUL! The first night there was a man sat of the stage with his laptop playing music and then a load of kids dancing on the dance floor- I’m not sure if they worked there or were just people dancing. They also really didn’t cater for different guests as the music he played was German I think. ||The hotel is like a youth club. It is full of children/ teenagers with no parents?? I’m not sure why but honestly it was worrying as there was no way they were 18 and yet they were all on there own scantily dressed. They very much ruined our experience, it was like being in a youth club every night, we used to play spot the adult as there were hardly any in the whole of the hotel. And when I say youth club I’m talking hundreds of young teens everywhere in large groups. ||The location of the hotel was great, not to far from Lloret de mar centre and beach but also close to another beach which was beautiful.||Personally I wouldn’t go back, mainly because of the awful entertainment and the fact it was just a hotel for unsupervised children.

The staff are mostly lovely and really helpful, with a few who look down on all inclusive.|The bar looks really good but if you all inclusive you have to you a tiny bit hidden around the corner with a very little menu and only cheap off brand drinks. If you try and buy a proper drink they shoo you around to the all inclusive without even listening.|The food is a buffet all you can eat, very well displayed with some cooked to order and the variety is really good. Its a shame its quite often a case if it looks good but taste is not a strong factor.|The Location is really good both beaches are quiet close and the shops/nightlife are easy walking distance. All inclusive but no WiFi in the room, no drinks facilities in your room, no snacks outside of there set meal times.

We had one long thin pillow between us and a decorations cushion which we had to put on top of that pillow so we wasn’t flat against the bed. Scuff marks all over the room on arrival originally paid for a standard room however upon entering the hotel we was told straight away by receptionist that we wouldn’t like the room as it isn’t nice at all paid 140 euro to upgrade to a bathroom with no door barley cleaned dust all over the vents and scurt boards a Pepsi can out side on the balcony room keys that never worked meaning more than 15 times a broken shower which I had to ask 5 times to be fixed then a man came didn’t knock just let him self in dragged his muddy shoes through our room and all in our shower and left it as well as knocking over a full bottle of shower gel and just leaving it payed for half board and didn’t eat one meal within the hotel due to it meaning mostly the same meals every day and not much variety at all and a pool that was unbearably cold to the point that no one went in this the full holiday a lot of ants within the room to and walls very thin no happy at all with this

Avoid, avoid, avoid!|If you enjoy your holiday surrounded by 600 teenagers, running riot throughout the hotel as they are on a basketball tournament vacation then crack on! Hotel staff did not want to know our complaints, noise levels were off the scale, kids running up and down the corridors, knocking on doors, throwing things from balconies. It was hideous. Our group were made to feel that it was our fault. |Food was RANK! Freezing cold and not a good selection. Im convinced the pasta was reheated from the previous day. |Only good thing was the bed was comfy...would have been better if the sheets were changed and we were given fresh towels.

The hotel was basic, some staff were rude and not very attentive. There was an influx of hundreds and hundreds of Spanish school children on sporting events. They took over the hotel. They were extremely loud, rude, unruly. Running up and down the corridors knocking on doors, shouting and blocking corridors until early hours of the morning with no adult supervision. They were throwing food in the dining room and pushing their way to the front of queues. We also experienced loud unruly behaviour in the reception area and around the pool. Staff at the Samba turned a blind eye, until we were forced to complain.|A very unpleasant and stressful experience overall

Just back from a 6 nights stay, was a little sceptical having read some bad reviews but in general we had an enjoyable family holiday. We were lucky with room alllcation and had one of the removated rooms which was very spacious and contained everything we needed. We booked all inclusive, drinks were fine with no issues with card system, food was disappointing purely due to not been hot enough and in the cases of meats unfortunately these were not fully cooked, we had to eat out on a number of occasions. Pool area was nice with plenty of sunbeds. Hotel entertainment was okay but not catered for English with a lot of been focused for french. Overall a good stay

Receptionist at night (bald overweight guy), was the worst receptionist we have ever experienced. No welcome, no smile, not helpful. BAD BAD BAD.||He made us feel like an inconvenience.||Hotel has strange & inconvenient drinks system if customer is 'All Inclusive'.||Rooms we were given were average, nothing special. We asked to be moved to a better room which had a view over pool area. This is important, or customers will be looking directly into road and other hotel rooms across the road. The hotel has floors with different standards of rooms.||Not all room are maintained adequately.||Food is good.||Pool area is good.||Some of the staff are friendly, but you get the impression that the Hotel does not impress on its staff to be friendly & courteous.

Our experience with HOTEL SAMBA a 3 Star place in Lloret! The rooms and service are perfect, the dinner between 13-14:30 o'clock isn't perfect but ok! The meals in the afternoon are for a three star hotel absolutely ok - not perfect but ok. Best dinner is on Saturdays - amazing Selection. The Hotel is clean, good service, cocktails by all inclusive include. A clean perfect summer pool side. Best point to go to Fenals Beach or Party Area Lloret.
