Hotel San Agustín Posada del Monasterio

From the receptionists, to my hotel bathroom, I really enjoyed this experience. I love the outdoor sitting area and views I got from different windows throughout the building. The internet was incredible and water pressure and temperature was very good. These things are important to me. The receptionists and staff all were very approachable, friendly, and helpful. I would like to name drop Alejandra as my favorite though! The restaurant that you can dial in your hotel room's food was so so so good. I got the chicken Alfredo, fruit crepe with ice cream, and that fresh green lemonade. 10/10 would recommend. I will definitely be coming back to this hotel when I come to Arequipa.

This place was the old hotel for families to use when they visited their daughters at the monastery. It’s old but very nicely redone. Has a beautiful open air lounge and restaurant. The breakfast included I’m with the stay is incredible. A lot of choices, fresh fruit, hot options. The man at the breakfast service was very nice and welcoming and gave me a hug goodbye! He was also playing beautiful local style music at breakfast which made my day. The reception staff was also very helpful with storing my luggage and giving recommendations about local things for tourists to do.

This hotel is a jewel in Arequipa. We were there for one night only but the experience was so beautiful we are already thinking of coming back. Its in the best location in the historic centre, right in front of the convent and a stone’s throw from mario vargas llosa library. The breakfast was incredible but the best part of the stay was Jaime, our host at the hotel. his kindness made the the whole thing magical. Gracias Jaime!

We stayed here for a one night with a gruop of friends. Very nice and clean hotel. Great location, close to Plaza de Armas and other attractions. Good breakfast. Special thanks to our super helpful and friendly waiter Jaime! Highy recommned staying here.

A very nice hotel located in a nice neighbourhood. Enjoy a drink in the calm garden of the hotel - and sleep well in good beds.|Staff very nice (Jaime welcomed us with a warm smile every morning in the breakfast area)|We tried the restaurant of the hotel, but obviously on a bad day - we were the only ones there, the waiter did not speak english and we waited 50 minutes for our food - somehing must have gone wrong that day. |We would also have liked to have a good map of the city - we received a rather poor quality photo copy of the surrounding areas but not nearly covering the old city (we found a map on a wall of the crossing street and took a picture of that.

The hotel is perfectly located in the center of arequipa! |The room is large and fully furnished. ||And the breakfast is delicious with a lot of fresh fruit and everything you need.||Jaime, the responsable of the breakfast is realy Nice and helpfull !!! And with a wonderful smile!

The hotel is wonderfully placed : right next to the Santa Catalina monastery and very close to many good restaurants. The common areas are atmospheric and built with the typical Arequipan white stone. Our room was more modern, somewhat on the small side but did not feel impersonal. The breakfast was included and was delicious and varied. The staff was kind and very helpful. Higher rooms may provide views of the 3 volcanos surrounding Arequipa.

The hotel location was the best , near all the great restaurants . The service was excellent with the staff making you fell like home and always ready to help. We had a triple room and it was spacious and comfortable. We will come back with our families for sure !
