Hotel San Gian

Nice quite hotel just out of town, but within walking distance of centre of St Moritz. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Free passes for chair lifts, funicular trains and public transport was really appreciated and saved us money. Food was good. A good breakfast selection with freshly cooked items available if required.

First day at check in was so present and great experience for me at this hotel. She explained the details of the St. Moritz town well, I had a wonderful experience. I thank you for your service and giving me this opportunity to send this feedback. I diffinately recommend to my friends and family. I travel solo this trip and I would like to come with my love next time. Best regards

Beautiful hotel with wonderful views. Staff is very helpful with smiling faces and ready to serve. Chiara at the reception took care of our luggage when we were out for local sightseeing after checking out. Also the other staff members were very hospitable. A nice cozy gem this resort is, with excellent spa, sauna and steam bath etc like facilities. Recommended. Thanks

Service was excellent. Breakfast was fantastic. The rooms seem to have very good sound insulation which was important to us. We were a little disappointed that the nearby spa/pool "Hallenbad" was under construction at the time - I believe otherwise, access to the Hallenbad used to be included. But the location is great with easy public transport to all parts of the valley, and public transport as well as cable cars were offered for free to us.

I would like to praise the concierge Paul, he was amazing. I was only here for one night and asked for a recommendation for a nice bike ride and cold plunge itinerary and he helped us with the most amazing itinerary. He was very attentive and professional. I cannot praise him enough. Give this man a raise !! Thank you Paul

The hotel was incredible. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, and the service at the reception and restaurant was very friendly, making you feel very welcome. The stay includes a card that allows you to travel on buses and cable cars to explore different places. I will definitely return to this hotel when I return to St. Moritz.

We had a wonderful stay at San Gian. The owner takes much pride is his hotel and you can tell with the extra touches and a staff focused on exquisite customer service. You enter and get welcomed immediately and lovely fresh juice and local cookies. Then, Paul at the front desk is super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He put together fantastic ideas to meet our needs for 3 days of sightseeing and the perfect hikes. Giving in great detail what bus and what times and what routes to take! Paul and Annabella made sure our stay was perfect and we decided last minute to extended our stay and got an amazing upgraded room! They were super thoughtful and when we asked to use the spa—sauna and steam room would be ready in 15 minutes! Loved it! The Chef is superb and their prefix meals are delicious, beautifully crafted and so inexpensive compared to most meals we’ve had, by far the best on this trip so far. The breakfast has been by far the best on our trip! We had amazing omelettes, fresh fruit, wonderful fresh loose teas from the region, really good espresso, bakery items baked fresh from the hotel and so much more. After hiking TMB and 14.5km, I scheduled a sports massage with Diana who is ridiculously fabulous with great pressure and truly listens to your needs! I love the sauna, steam room and foot bathe all included as part of your stay. We stayed in hotels where they charged 20 Francs to use the sauna for 1 hours. Last and probably one of the best offers if you stay 2 or more nights you get a free transportation card! It’s good for all buses, trains, trams, gondolas, and chairs; saving you a ton of money! The rooms are spacious for Swiss, great view, nice seating areas, higher end nespresso with 3 different types of coffee, refrigerator and lastly they have nice bathroom with a bath tub with TV/music, separate shower and plush bathrobes to wear to the sauna. I highly recommend this hotel it is a short walk to the lake and is located by 3 different bus stops giving you lots of options and short wait times. This is the place to stay in St. Moritz.

Rooms cozy and very clean. The hotels stuff very nice. Breakfast was just perfect. Everything was just great. And the perfect coffee machine in a room is just really something. 👍👍👍
