Great bed and breakfast, wonderful host and location of this place. Didn't forget to take the elevator all the way to the top for reception. Loved being here, hospitality was top notch, nice mini kitchen and living room area, located walking distance from everything you need. Highly recommend and hope to return

The fourth-floor location uses traditional keys for the main entrance and individual room doors, instead of key cards. The key cards only power the outlets and the main light in the bedroom. The hard keys offer three levels of security: outside access, the main office door, and your individual room, providing enhanced peace of mind. Air conditioning is provided, and please note this is an adult-only hotel. This is a great place because it's quiet, there's not a lot of running around, and you can't hear a lot of footsteps in the building.

This was a charming hotel in a great location! The staff were wonderful and our room had a view of the duomo. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel rooms are located on the fourth floor. Your access is via a very small elevator, which will only accommodate two people and luggage. Your only other option is to walk up a number of steps. Although breakfast isn’t included with this unit, the host does put out croissants, as well as juices, coffee, water, wine, and Prosecco.

We so enjoyed our stay here. We had a beautiful room with a stunning view of the Duomo, comfy beds, good Wi-Fi, the room was clean, staff were friendly… we appreciated the complimentary Nespresso coffee and juice/water in the fridge. Although breakfast wasn’t included croissants were provided. This was the best place we stayed in Italy and we would 100% recommend.

What a pleasure- an unexpected find at the foot of the Duomo. The sitting room opposite the kitchen was lovely to enjoy the complimentary coffee, water, yogurt & croissant. Amenities were abundant, bed so comfortable we slept too long. Nice bathroom. We certainly would go back!|Hotel suggested Caffe Foggia (?) great Florentine flavor.

My wife and I spent three enjoyable days at San Giuliano Inn (SGI) during the first part of November 2024. ||The hotel is in a great location. Easy walking distance from all the important sites. ||I don't know what kind of windows they have but they blocked out almost all the street noise. There was street construction going on just under our window, but it was incredible how little noise we heard when the windows were closed. In addition to the windows being basically soundproof, they have shades built into them that you can lower and block out all the light. ||At many hotels in Italy, you have to go up 4 or 5 steps to reach the elevator. 4 or 5 steps may not seem like much but when you have large, heavy suitcases the stairs can be problematic. At SGI there are no steps to reach the elevator. In our opinion this is a big plus. ||The staff is excellent. They speak perfect English. Dexter will take care of all your needs. ||SGI says it does not serve breakfast. However, croissants, tea and coffee are available every morning at no additional cost. Dexter will make you a cappuccino that's as good as any cappuccino you can get in a coffee bar unlike the horrible cappuccinos that the fully automated machines make in most hotels. There was also a little refrigerator in the room. ||The hot water is instant and there's plenty of it. There was good water pressure in the shower and the shower drained properly. ||Bottom line is this is a great hotel. We definitely will return.

We returned after a 6 year absence to find this hotel still a perfect gem. Located just a short walk from the Duomo, you can see the dome from some of the rooms. After buzzing a non descript button at the street level beside a big brown door, you enter to take a tiny lift or walk the stairs up to the 4th floor. Once there, you enter into a totally modernized, spacious, clean accommodation. There is a shared kitchen with 24 hr access to beer, water, and coffee. In the morning, a light breakfast is provided. The staff was super nice, allowing our friends to store their luggage inside the owners personal accommodation during an afternoon in Florence. She also booked a taxi for them and the next day for us to get to the airport. A great choice in Florence!

Amazing 3 night stay here. The location is perfect and very central. The rooms are modern, clean, homely and have everything you need. Staff are very kind and cannot do enough for you. They made us a cappuccino every morning with croissants. There is 24hr access to the fridge and kitchen where you can have a coffee at any time. The fridge is also stocked with water/orange juice/milk/yogurts that you have access to free of charge. Rooms are cleaned daily. Access to an iron on request. Cannot recommend this place enough!!
