As a group of 18 year olds we thought it was the perfect hotel. It was a basic hotel, but you get what you pay for. The rooms were clean, maid came every day and the rooms were spacious with a balcony. The walls were thin but at the start of July the hotel was really quiet anyway. The pool on the roof is really nice, bigger than what it looks on photos and it was clean. Hotel provided the basic towels/soap/shampoo. Only issues were the safe didn't lock and there was no air conditioning in the rooms. There was a common room area and food available at breakfast and dinner with a small but varied selection with puddings too. You have to pay extra for drinks at dinner. There was free wifi available in the rooms. Location was ideal as it was quiet outside but only a short walk (about 5-10 mins max) from the beach, shops, and nightlife. We were very pleased with the hotel as it had everything we needed and there was no problems with it. Probably more suited for group holidays rather than family holidays.

Just had two weeks at this hotel, hated it. If you like 'getting down with the kids' then stay here July and August. It was full of teenagers of all nationalitys, very noisy, day and night. All surrounding hotels were also full of kids, so if you got a couple of hours quiet in yours, it was coming from elsewhere. Food was very hit and miss, although half board, ate out after the first day. We booked at travel agents and wasn't told that a lot of school organised trips are here for these two months and there are a lot. Have to agree with a few other people about the pool, was in need of a clean, tiles in pool were scummy and black and tiles round pool were broken, sunbeds were rusty and had seen better days. On a positive note the rooms were basic but very clean, beds changed regulary and bathroom and towels were lovely, also had good air con, much needed. Loved Lloret and will go back but will avoid these months and this hotel, don't care how cheap it is. It is a Spanish hotel, obviously and therefore I feel caters for them, especially with the evening entertainment.

The rooms are really small and kinda empty, there's no air conditional, there wasn't wifi in the room and the streets are noisy. It's bad because on summer you have to open the windows for night because it's really hot there and you're gonna wake up few times til the morning for sure. But we still really liked this place. If you go to holidays there like you have plans for the whole day, and you leave the hotel in the morning and comeback at night tired, it's probably perfect for you. At least for this price it was really good for me and my girlfriend. The staff are nice, we liked the breakfast and dinner also, however it wasn't really varied and after a few days you just start to be bored of it. But still! It's in really good place and we had wonderful holidays there.

This hotel is the WORST hotel I have ever stayed at. If I could give this a 0 star I would. On arrival we were told that the bookings were wrong and we had 2 not 3 rooms. There is no air conditioning and in 41° heat it is unbearable. We had to go out and buy our own fans. Then the pool filter broke which I understand is not the hotels fault but as it has many sister hotels in the local area it would not have harmed them to arrange alternative arrangements. That night the water pressure in the showers were shocking which then ended with the shower completely turning off to the return with a thick brown sludge that was supposedly water. Food was okay and the staff were friendly enough but they themselves admitted that it was an aweful hotel. Oh and please DO NOT take children to this hotel as there are individuals very openly taking drugs in most rooms. Not shy about the fact of what they are doing. Doors left wide open whilst individuals inside. Oh and due to this they do not sleep so run up and down the hotel corridors all night trying to enter bedrooms that were unlocked. Fortunately ours was not. Lloret De Mar itself is a beautiful place and a great place to holiday, just please save yourself the heart ache and lack of sleep and stay somewhere else.

Hotel is in a very noisy position on some crossroads. Buildings are 6/7 stories high and all the noise travels upwards. There's a loose drain outside that goes clonk clonk every time a car goes over it, all day and all night virtually. Lift makes room walls vibrate, dog's barking echo as streets are very narrow, hostel near by that hoards of students go to, rather noisily returning at 2am. 're as Tarrant opposite sets its tables up outside at 7:30am without a thought to try and do it quietly. School nearby, can tell when it's playtime. Not the ideal position but a cheap hotel. ||The food is not the best, breakfast is boiled eggs, toast, rolls, croissants, cheese ham. ||Dinner in the evening is a disappointing affair. Salad bar consists of tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce and either potato salad or rice. Main is fish or meat. Day 1 - chicken, chips and Brussels, no other choice. Day 2 pork chop, boiled potatoes, think they were green beans but we're a bit overcooked, no other choice, Day 3 stew, fried potatoes tinned mushrooms, no other choice, Day 4 burger, pasta (oil dressing with a few bits of green stuff), no veg. Day 5 you get the idea, Desserts are tinned fruit, balance or really badly decorated cake. Not a good place for children, I'm not a fussy eater but actually thought .. yuk. I can't believe the chef can watch the guests eat with a smile on his face. Most of the guests are in their 70's so I guess the slop that's served is easily chewed! I will definitely not return to this hotel. Maybe it's because it's a 2* but due to the noise and food it really doesn't warrant any praise.

Might have been something once! Dingy, rooms clean but don't think bedroom floors ever get swept! Shower has to be held because it won't stay in holder, towels so thin! Pool area has had same rubbish there all week, Food is so basic we have been eating out, couple of friendly members of staff, walls are paper thin you can hear everything beside and above you.||Definitely not recommended for English people, French kids running and screaming in the corridors while parents drink themselves senseless in the early hours, definitely will never return.

We booked a week holiday, looking forward to it so much, but little did we know that it turned out to be the worst holiday ever! The rooms were so hot and no AC, we opened the balcony door but there was so much noise that we could not sleep, shouting, cars, motorbikes, singing and noise from others hotels. I Regreat going so much and I wish I had spent that money on a new tv or something else. We had breakfast but it was the worst breakfast ever with only cheese and some other meat, tin mix fruit, hard bread rolls, no juice only some kind of orange juice that taste like sugar. Very old furniture and only one plug in a family room, service they only made the bed and sheets did not change in a whole week. If you want to throw your money away and you don't care where you stay then go here, but I am sure you will Regreat it so much. Everything about our holiday was a nightmare, small pool, I could go on and on, but I am going to end it by saying I wish I had not booked this place as it was so horrible and no sleep due to noise and hot weather.

Very bad experience. Don't sleep there. Bedbugs all over the beds!! I already read about the bugs from somebody who was there a few days before me. At arrival I checked my bed and found a bug under my pillow. I talked to somebody from the reception and they gave me another room. After checking the beds I decided not to sleep between the sheets and laid some towels over the bed and slept under my beach towel which I only use for sleeping. Now I'm still covered with bedbugbites and it itches like hell. The guy at the reception did not take me serious and I think this hotel is a real health tread for everyone. And I'm not even have told you about the problems with the noices at night. Don't sleep there until you're absolutely sure the hotel is clean!!
