We would give 100 stars if it possible! One of the best cared hotels (which aren’t a chain) that I have been!!! The service is exzellent, people are kind and attentive. The breakfast is FANTASTIC with home made pies and savory dishes! We will return many times. The beds are very confortable and everything is SPOTLESS CLEAN !!! One of the best local hotels I have been to in Italy! This without mentioning the perfect location to explore the cute Spoleto city!!

My extended family and I (9 of us) have just spent a week at Hotel San Luca while attending a family wedding nearby. From the booking, and the various requirements we asked for to the check in and check out it was incredibly easy and accommodating. The hotel was even able to organise hair and make up for a couple of us at a local beauticians for our wedding photos. Hotel San Luca is a beautifully furnished hotel with old world charm and comfort in a classic style. The outdoor courtyard is a delight and cool on the hottest days. The seating area near the bar and reception are welcoming. The rooms are a very good size and the prices are extremely reasonable and good value. Bathrooms are also bright with wide sinks and excellent space. Breakfast choices in the dining room are huge with all the usual continental choices as well as hot eggs, bacon and continental sausages. The breakfast team are lovely and very hard working and the coffee and tea flow. As we learnt from them "Breakfast is an important meal of the day". The hotel is spotlessly clean and you see the team all through the day maintaining the standard and keeping the hotel bright and shiny... I was very happy to give this information to Federica before i left but sadly forgot to pass on my thanks to the lovely older gentleman with white hair and glasses who runs reception and bar in the evening who was my favourite and so helpful to me. I am also sad to say that the effort of sorting out my aged mother kept me so frazzled i did not ask his name. Thank you my friend. I highly recommend this hotel. If it has not been changed by the time you stay there listen out for the bell in the lift to Reception which made us smile each trip. Thank you Hotel San Luca for a lovely visit.

We chose the Hotel San Luca for its location. We toured central Italy in a rental car and tried to avoid having to drive into the town centers. The San Luca is easy to reach on arrival and has a secure parking garage. It also is a superb hotel. We had a lovely room with a terrace - quiet, spacious and comfortable. The service at the hotel is impeccable. You leave your room key with the concierge and they would always have our key ready and waiting the minute we walked in the door. The breakfast spread was outstanding, again with very good service.|And the location proved to be perfect for accessing the Spoleto moving walkways up to the town center. Just a short walk from the hotel is the base of the walkway which can take you all the way to the Roca and aqueduct at the top of town, with other exits to the main plazas lower down. A wonderful system for locals and visitors alike, we used it several times a day during our stay.

they charged me twice the same nights saying I have 2 booking: i told them I didnt have the confirmation from them so I did another booking. Even so they made me paid twice the booking. I was supposed to stay 2 nights but I left after one night because bed and pillow where not comfy at all and the room was quite old. Even the matrice didnt match the size of the bed. see picture. the location is great but the rest is not great.

Excellent location—just a short walk to free parking and a nearby supermarket. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and communicative, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious, and the room was spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended!

We really liked the San Luca. It's classy, stylish and not very expensive. Room was comfortable, spacious and full of style and breakfast was also super. One of reception staff was a bit grumpy towards us, I'd hate to guess why, but the other one was friendly and booked us an excellent restaurant for dinner. The hotel is great and recommended and so is the town of Spoleto.

My wife and I were very pleased with our stay at Hotel San Luca. It is in an excellent location and very quiet in the evening. The room was lovely and breakfast very good. The staff was very helpful. Spoleto is a beautiful town to visit and close to Assisi, Perugia and other Umbrian cities. |Bill Fiorelli

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! ||We are Americans who live in Umbria, but we stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in June 2024 to celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary. The staff surprised us with a cookie tray in our room on the day of our anniversary.||Our room was spacious, and the marble-ensconced bathroom was huge (uncommon for many Italian hotels). The breakfast (included in the price of the room) was fabulous with many sweet and savory offerings including eggs without dairy automatically added. ||The hotel has a lovely courtyard with a fountain where we enjoyed our breakfast during our stay. My husband and I were in breakfast heaven every morning!||The parking was affordable, and the hotel was in an excellent location walkable to all things in Spoleto. The one MINOR negative for us was the mattress was very firm. We like a softer feel.||I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking in the Spoleto area.
