Beautiful place , good service, friendly staff, good quality mattresses and pillows, awesome amount of hot water, they need to improve in some areas but overall is an excellent place to stay.

A wonderful clean hotel in an excellent location in Mendoza .The great location allows you to walk around and explore many of the local shops and restaurants. The staff are kind, helpful, and engaging. After my 10 day stay, I really wanted to plan a return trip.

Great location on independence square. Close to good restaurants and money exchange. Staff English is limited but with a little friendly talking we were able to communicate. In Mendoza few people speak English so this situation is very common. Staff at front desk, the maids and maintenance people were always smiling, friendly and helpful. They called a cab when needed and kept our bags after checkout while we visited a winery on our last day. The breakfast was average but was fresh and tasty - it was sufficient. The room was small and quaint. The room was clean and could have used some minor updates. For the price and location it was fine. We did not expect a 4 star room. The other reviews on TripAdvisor are generally accurate. Ask for a lock for the room safe at the front desk. The very friendly and helpful staff made our stay a good experience.

San Martin Hotel has an excellent location for walking to restaurants, cafes, shopping, and tours. This city was my favorite in Argentina! It’s an amazing place considering you are in the desert. There are trees everywhere and even thought it was 98 degrees, it was fine to walk because you are shaded. (Picture) The wines are very good, inexpensive, and you must do a wine tour or two while you are they. The hotel had very good service, breakfast, and pool. Room was clean. It did have an odor that seemed to be coming from the bathroom drainage system however the front desk responded right away and took care of it. The bathroom did need some repair as far as the shower head and flush handle on the toilet (picture). But these were minor and we would certainly stay here again.

Great little hotel - just what we needed after a long bus journey from Chile. The reception was v helpful and sorted us a room hours before official check in time and let us keep the room til 8pm on check out date. Room was nice and clean and bathroom hot water plentiful and strong shower pressure. All in all great would recommend.

We stayed here for a week in late October 2019 while we explored the vineyards and Andes mountains. Small hotel with average-sized rooms, but extremely clean, excellent breakfast and late afternoon coffee provided. Location can't be beat. They are doing some renovations which didn't bother us but just shows how committed they are to customer service. Staff very helpful.

The location is good, there was a craft fair in the park across the street one night. There are some restaurants nearby, we enjoyed "Bute" down the street. The room is very small but it was quiet & included breakfast which was very basic, scrambled eggs, hotdog, toast--the same every day. The room was very small, but clean & quiet.

This is a small hotel across from Independence Park in downtown Mendoza. It is close to some great restaurants and any grocery, etc. depending on your needs. |The room was large enough for 3 adults, but the twin beds are very stiff. The queen bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very small and shower was also small. Kind of out of sorts with the equipment. Would be nice to have a decent blow dryer in bathroom and not the kind with a hose. Shower head falling apart, but worked and toilet flusher literally falling off the wall. |Breakfast was okay. The eggs and hot dogs are just not my thing. Good coffee and pastries. Some days fresh bananas and apples. All days, very sweetened fruit bowl, but all fresh. |Was quite convenient to stay in this location. |That being said, if you plan to go to the south to wine taste, please stay at an Airbnb, as the homes out in Luján de Cuyo were amazing and easy with lots of restaurants nearby. I’d rent a car to stay out there though. |On a wine note, O.Fournier, Monteviejo and Siete Fuentes were UNREAL!! |Cabs are very easy to get. Ask for the nicer Vendo service with better cars that are more comfortable than the little boxes they have all over. No one speaks English in cabs, so have addresses printed and prepared for them. |Salute!
