"And then when I'm in Paris, I only stay at the Hotel San Régis. It's quiet, it's quaint, it's got this really beautiful courtyard, and the hotel staff there is so lovely. Every time I land, they remember me.”

Hotel San Regis, Champs-Élysées, Paris - Explore & Book

"Whether it's your 1st or 5th time in the French capital, it doesn't get more special than a view of the Eiffel Tower from your private terrace. And if you're looking to be warmly welcomed, discreetly spoilt and generally charmed, you're in the right place. San Regis was once a private mansion, then a word-of-mouth hotel where Hollywood stars and the haute-couture set stayed. Run as a boutique hotel by the Georges Family since 1984, it has retained the exclusive, intimate atmosphere of its former days, along with personal yet immaculately professional service. The 42 spacious bedrooms are dressed with stunning period furniture, antique portraits and Hermès wallpaper; marble bathrooms gleam. Downstairs, there's a quiet lounge bar for cocktails, and a elegant glass-roofed dining room. Should you wish to book museum tickets or reserve tables at a nearby Michelin-starred restaurant, the concierge will be happy to help. Classically Parisian in every way, and our favourite among the city's many prestige hotels. Highs An ideal location on a quiet residential street in the heart of the 'Golden Triangle' - walk to the Champs-Élysées, Grand Palais, even the Eiffel TowerOr stroll down Avenue Montaigne, with its haute-couture boutiquesChic and spacious bedrooms with marble bathrooms. Book a Terrace Junior Suite for views of the Eiffel TowerA fantastic breakfast buffet Close to the metro so you can zip all over the city with ease Lows Expensive, as is the area itself, and rates don't include breakfastA limited restaurant menu but there's a wealth of great places to eat out in Paris - ask the concierge for help with choosingNo gym or spa" - Kate Parsons

"The dream for any city-center luxury hotel is a location that’s at once surrounded by attractions and yet comfortably sequestered; here, on a side street in the 8th arrondissement’s famed Golden Triangle, the Hôtel San Régis manages to have it all. Nor does it suffer in the style department, with interiors by Pierre-Yves Rochon, whose work is practically synonymous with Parisian luxury hospitality." - Tablet Hotels

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights at the end of August. The location is perfect. Just a couple of blocks from the river and just a few minutes to the Eiffel Tower, almost next door to the National Gallery and a short walk to the Louvre. The service and food were amazing and everyone from the doorman to the front desk staff were outstanding. We stayed in a prestige room which was spacious and beautiful. We could open the window and the cool air was great. Can't say enough about it. Would highly recommend.

Best hotel I’ve ever been! Across Europe! Great service and nice staff! Love our room! It’s big and comfortable! Very beautiful with boutiques everywhere! You might need to pay attention that some choices on the menu are not included in the breakfast that comes with the room. Love the Bellini at breakfast!

Our stay in this suite was absolutely wonderful – especially the breathtaking view! The Eiffel Tower looks smaller in the pictures than it does in real life. In reality, it’s just over 1 km away and truly stunning to look at. Despite being so close to the city center, the area was very peaceful. The staff were incredibly friendly, sweet, and always ready to help. Even before our arrival, they kindly answered all my questions and assisted me with anything I needed. For us, this is by far the best hotel in Paris, and we will be happy to return again and again!

Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel San Régis in Paris. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. Joseph and George were especially outstanding—available around the clock, incredibly professional, and truly went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. The hotel itself is beautifully situated in a central location, making it easy to walk to top sights, shops, and cafes. It felt luxurious without being overdone. Everything about our experience was warm, welcoming, and seamless. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

The only place we will ever stay in Paris. The service was impeccable! The location perfect on a quiet street with easy access to restaurants, shopping and sites within blocks. The view of Eiffel Tower from our balcony at night while enjoying champagne and chocolates was magical. The concierge made dinner reservations each night for us, and we were always given the best table! La perfection 💋

The hotel surpassed our expectations. It was beautiful and the entire service team was phenomenal. Anything we needed from restaurant recs, tour advice or simply getting to/from the airport - the staff was one of the best I've ever seen. We couldn't be happier with our stay and look forward to coming back in the future!

Google
Highly recommend the Hotel San Regis. It's a boutique hotel in what was an 1800's private residence. Absolutely beautiful details, mouldings and fixtures. Large clean bathroom and comfortable accommodations located in the heart of Paris with excellent restaurants, shopping and historical sites within walking distance. Jerome Joubert, Chef Concierge, is a consummate professional and made our stay special by obtaining tickets that were sold out on line and percuring reservations at outstanding restaurants.

My husband and I recently spent six nights at the San Régis Paris for our babymoon and, unfortunately, the overall experience fell flat. We were incredibly excited about our stay, but for the price per night, we expected a much higher level of service and attention to detail. Having stayed at many five-star hotels around the world, the contrast in service and hospitality was stark. Upon arrival, we were passed between check-in staff and told to sit in the lobby with no clear timeline for our room. After 30 minutes unattended, someone approached us—only to realize we were not who they thought we were. While continuing to wait, we were never offered refreshments or directed to restrooms—a small but meaningful oversight after a 24-hour travel day. The room itself was charming, but had issues. The bathroom sconces were crooked and loose, the shower door leaked water onto the floor, and most concerning, the ceiling vent FELL on my head while I was blow-drying my hair. Service throughout the stay continued to disappoint. Doormen were rarely present when needed—my husband carried three large suitcases down the stairs and through the front door before anyone offered assistance. Front desk staff often appeared disengaged, more focused on chatting amongst themselves than greeting guests. While our stay wasn’t terrible, it certainly wasn’t up to the standard we expect from a hotel of this caliber and price point. We had hoped for a more refined and attentive experience. If you are looking for a luxurious five-star accommodation in Paris, there are better options.

Yelp
If you want to wake up in a safe, comfortable, beautiful space the Hotel San Regis is where you want to be. It's located in a perfect area of Paris with shops, restaurants, pharmacies all within walking distance. The staff during our stay went above and beyond, Jerome made us feel right at home upon arrival and when the staff found out we had a birthday in our group they sent a delicious bottle of champagne. Thank you, Younes and everyone on staff for making our trip to Paris so memorable. We will definitely return to this hotel.

Yelp
My Wife and I had an Amazing stay at the San Regis Hotel. The staff was so nice and helpful in every way. The Hotel is so quaint with loads of history behind it. It is minutes from the Eiffel Tower, the Louver, etc..(all within walking distance). Our room was pretty, a nice size with a queen bed (rare) and large bathroom, I posted a picture of the view from our room, it speaks for itself. I highly recommend staying there. Thank You staff for a great stay.

Yelp
This hotel is a true gem. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, quiet and comfortable. Great little bar and restaurant. We stayed in room 10 the Blue Room. Loved the bathroom. Great products and towels. Located on a side street this property has a neighborhood feel. FABULOUS shopping all around. The Dior museum is around the corner. The staff could not be more accommodating. We have stayed at all the "Big" Paris Hotels at double the room rate, the San Régis doesn't have their name cachet but it is a first rate 5 star hotel. We will definitely stay here again.

Yelp
This hotel and the people who work there are truly incredible. The service, the location, the food, the quality, the attention to detail. Absolutely impeccable all around. These amazing people who work here make you feel like a celebrity, they are always available for anything you need. Hopefully you're lucky enough to meet George! He works nights (the man is a life saver). He made us food and drinks in the middle of the night, always attentive, and saved us from missing our flight. This was by FAR the best service I've ever had anywhere.. Very impressed! Thank you George!!

Yelp
Okay I don't know where to begin because this hotel is absolutely amazing !! Family owned and has such beautiful architecture and charm. My grandmother and I stayed for about 5 days here and it was so peaceful and beautiful. The staff is amazing and extremely helpful with anything we needed. They called cabs for us, recommended shopping and restaurants nearby, and that's only to name a couple things. The little restaurant/bar area is very cute, small , but perfect for a quiet dinner if you don't want to leave the hotel. We had breakfast & coffee here every morning. The room was very spacious. We had our own terrace with a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower! Everyone here made sure our stay was one to remember and it was!

Yelp
LOCK UP YOUR CASH & VALUABLES!! I'm really sad that I have to write this 1 star review as our stay was overall really good however when leaving on our last day I noticed about $400 was taken from my back back. I am 100% sure money was not misplaced as I had been traveling all though Spain with a stop in Paris before heading home and I always keep my cash in a specific pocket of my laptop backpack. Also it was USD and I have been using EUROS so I didn't need my USD. The thief left some cash behind to make you question if you really had that much cash or not however I used my card and got Euros out of the ATM. I am 100% sure I had over $600 in my bag and when leaving there was $260 left. At the end of the day it's my fault for not putting the cash in the safe HOWEVER I had the do not disturb sign on my door and I would come back and my room would be turned down and the do not disturb sign was placed back on the outside of the door. I never thought to check if cash was missing each day as this is suppose to be a 5 star hotel. It's a real shame because the concierge and hotel staff were so very friendly and accommodating. However the cleaning staff can not be trusted and if you choose to stay here, please lock up your valuables if you are leaving them behind in the room as they are not safe. And also remember that your do not disturb sign will not keep them from entering your room when you are not there. The San Regus must do a better job of screening their cleaning staff so this doesn't happen to other innocent patrons. I have reported the issue but so far the hotel has yet to offer any solution.

Yelp
We had a WONDERFUL stay at the Hotel San Regis! Our room was perfect with a balcony that had a view of the Tour de Eiffel. The staff go above and beyond and are very kind. We had the best dinner we had in Paris at the in house restaurant Confidences. Close to everything. We would stay here again if ever going back to Paris.

Yelp
This hotel was, in the '70s ,a place where you could find warmth, attentiveness, helpfulness, discretion, personal touch, and of course beautiful rooms ( I spent time there at the time ). I am very happy to say that, years later, aside from beautiful renovations, everything is just the same. The staff is beyond fantastic, the atmosphere has to be felt to be believed, and of course you are two steps from the Champs-Elysee and the couture houses. Go there and feel like royalty ! Also, book the Terrace Junior Suite; it has a lovely view of the Tour Eiffel.

Yelp
Good location but Very old hotel, it's expensive and yet not work the money. The staff are very nice but I was beyond disappointed in the property especially the room. The drain of the shower didn't even work properly. (Picture attached)

Yelp
This is a wonderful, small hotel. The hotel staff was fabulous. We enjoyed our stay and found everything to be top notch. The location is great too. I would definitely stay there again.

Yelp
I really loved staying here. I requested a room with a view, so I was totally disappointed when they told us that they didn't have one for the first night. The first suite was HUGE... A bot outdated, but still fabulous. The second night, they moved our bags into the new room with the Eiffel Tower view. Omg I loved it! Walked out onto the balcony and could see the Eiffel Tower perfectly. The room was also much more modern. It's one of the rooms in the part of the new addition to the hotel. Overall, the staff was nice and extremely accommodating, and provided a very comfortable stay.

Yelp
This hotel is a $1000.00 per night (I have a suite) it's not worth the money. The safe in the room was broken, brown water coming out of the sink, the restaurant is only for breakfast no dinner & last but not least I was woken up by a huge moth. The only fantastic thing about this hotel is Cedric the bell boy, he is just sooooo helpful & nice

Yelp
Stunning. This hotel is absolutely stunning! Every aspect of this hotel was spectacular. From the beautifully decorated room, to the butler minding my every move, down to the plate of colorful macaroons welcoming us to our room on the sitting room table. Our stay here has been by far the best experience of my life! Staff was extremely helpful and attentive. Upon arrival, bellhop tended to all luggage. Concierge gave a brief tour of the premises, our room and even offered to book dinner reservations (keep in mind it was already 10:30 pm). She was very welcoming and did not excuse herself until we assured her there was nothing left that was needed. Note: free WiFi, breakfast-please do take advantage! It was fabulous! Also, fax, printer and computers are available upon request should you need means of communication. Our room was like a second home, equipped with heated towel racks, terrycloth robes/slippers, good quality hair dryer (THANK GOD!). In addition, each room came equipped with an umbrella. This worked out because sure enough, it poured like cats and dogs. Maids tended to the room several times per day. Heaven. Room service answered my calls until 11 pm. I could not have been happier with my stay. Sadly, check out time came all too soon. Not to worry, the concierge was all too happy to book our last minute desired tour of Notre Dame before heading to the airport. Any and all returns to Paris will include a stay in this lovely Parisian jewelry box. Thank you for making my first trip to Paris so memorable, xo!

Yelp
If I could give 0 stars for this hotel, I would. The staff are extremely rude, the hotel is not well cleaned whatsoever, and the pictures are nothing like what the travel sites or websites post. This has been one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Having this experience tainted my Paris visit and I did not pay over $1000 per night for this type of service and lack of amenities.

Yelp
This hotel was absolutely the worst hotel ever! We said in the junior suite and paid Four season/5 star prices and this is NOT a 5 star hotel. First, our room was not ready and we got there after the checkin time. Then when we got to the room it was not clean and had no room slippers. We called down asked if they can have someone clean it and bring us some slippers when we leave for shopping & dinner. Ten minutes later 3 ladies came to our room yelling and speaking rudely in French. Day 2, we went shopping and came back and found no slippers yet again. This time we thought, maybe the cleaning ladies threw them away. So we asked to get some slippers and they accused us of accusing them of stealing our slippers. No, we didn't spend 1k a night to come for 2 days in Paris spend thousands in Chanel to steal $1 worth of slippers. DO NOT STAY HERE! Stay at any other place that actually treats their guest with some decency and respect. These people sure give all the nice French people I've met a bad name. Like the other reviewer stated, the only nice person was the bellman! ZERO STARS!

Yelp
I cannot say enough about our experience at this hotel. We spent a week at the San Regis with our one year old son. The incredible staff emailed with me prior to our stay in order to select the perfect suite that could comfortably accommodate a baby and two tired parents. The hotel is sublime - beautiful antiques, luxurious linens, Hermès toiletries, incredible food and most of all, outstanding service. On top of everything else, it's a five minute walk to the Champs Elysee yet the neighborhood is elegant and super private. I've never stayed at a hotel where the staff was so charming and attentive. We can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Very nice hotel and staff. We were very happy with our stay. The hotel is expensive but I think you're paying up for the location. Our room was very comfortable! Have fun.

Yelp
I was referred by my travel agent to stay in this quaint luxury boutique Hotel located on the right bank in Paris. Located in what's called the Golden Triangle. We were in walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, Champs-Elysées, The River Seine, Grand Palais and Petit Palais; not to mention all the High-end designer shops and outdoor cafes. Now, of course my first choice was the Four Seasons but unrealistic for a last minute trip to Paris over the New Year Holiday. We were able to secure a single room, small, but beautifully decorated with a newer marble bath with bidet, robes and Hermes toiletries. Our room was located facing the courtyard which was great as we were able to sleep all night with the large french windows wide open while we enjoyed the crisp cool Parisian breeze. The Hotel has a bit of interesting history, being a swanky getaway in its heyday. It is also noted as one the "Small Luxury Hotels of the World". The Hotel is very small with under 50 rooms. Each room has it's own uniquely custom French decor, toile every where! It may or may not be your style, however you can't deny its beauty. There's a small bar, small parlor with fire place, period furniture and original art work, I dined in the dining room every morning for breakfast and I was not disappointed. I ordered room service each night for dinner and was also very pleased. There is a small staff, though helpful, not very knowledgeable being a tourist expectation. All in all, a memorable time and I would recommend.

Yelp
The Hotel San Regis was amazing, tres bonne! A boutique hotel with extraordinary french service. The rooms were semi modern but still retro. The hotel is conveniently located by the prestigious Avenue Montaigne the high end fashion capital of Paris and the Champs Elysees. The hotel was formally a mansion and was converted into a hotel. From the moment you walk into the hotel a feeling of elegance instantly hits you and reminds you of Napoleon's Apartments displayed in the Louvre Museum. As you make your way through the lobby you wonder if it's connected to the Palace of Versailles as luxury is felt and spelled all over the hotel walls. After hanging out in their version of the library room lobby I walk up the spiral stairs to my suite and open the door to see the french boutique decoration. I immediately open the french windows and pop open some champagne the front desk so kindly left as a welcoming drink. The only thing missing upon arrival was the simultaneous playing of the Aux Champs Elysees song as I popped my champagne cork outside my french window saying Bonjour Mon Amies!

Yelp
just returned home after 5 nights here...for my birthday celebration with my daughter...the rooms could use alittle updating, but the location was great and the staff was so attentive, planned a lot of our activities and dining experiences. My daughter was sick the morning we departed and they got medicine for us at 6:30am...and we were able to get home. I would stay here again and recommend it to others. Lee Snadon, Dallas, Texas
