Hotel Santa Caterina Siena

A lifelong friend and I went to Siena to see her son, who is attending a semester in Siena. Hotel Santa Caterina was recommended by a mutual friend and was a highlight of our trip! The staff is so incredibly kind, the breakfasts are delicious and the rooms were simple, clean, beautiful and SO comfortable. The beds, linens and pillows were so cozy in both of our bedrooms. The view off the garden and terrace was peaceful...spectacular. I can't recommend Hotel Santa Caterina more highly. I'll look forward to staying there again!

A truly amazing place to stay. Super friendly and helpful staff, amazing rooms and location. Having breakfast with such an amazing view away from the busy Siena centre was pure luxury. Thoroughly recommend!

Stayed in May 2025 for 3 nights. Absolutely beautiful. Understated elegant hotel with the most amazing, friendly staff and attention to detail. The view from the rooms and garden are to die for. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Absolutely amazing. You can really feel the city spirit here, rooms are nonconventional but charming. One of best breakfasts I had - 100% recommend!

Excellent location, wonderful breakfast, quiet, staff was very friendly and very helpful. Laurie was so kind & great for tips on restaurants, etc. We so enjoyed our stay (3 nights) and would go back in an instant. Loved Siena!! Best campo, lovely scenery, Duomo is a must!

Very nice people there at the hotel extremely helpful This hotel is just amazing built in the 18th century but the rooms are incredible I will absolutely come here again when I come back. Walking distance to everything.

Great service, amazing breakfast, horrible bed. Room was very cozy and the shower was powerful. They parked our car, which was nice since the parking was a little confuaing.

Lovely, quaint hotel minutes from the gate to the old city. Friendly accommodating staff. We are so impressed with the breakfast, the outdoor sitting area, tasteful Italian lobby and clean rooms. The rooms are small, so if you are looking for big brand size this isn't for you. There is a lift and we were on the 1st floor. Best decision to split up our city visits and stay here. Great cappuccinos too! Bonus!

My apologies. Santa Caterina in Siena provides free secure parking. The comment about parking in my previous review was meant for a different hotel in a different city where we stayed the next night. (I should not have written 2 reviews at the same time.)
