This really was a tale of two nights. The hotel looks fabulous with parking and lots of facilities. The beds are very comfortable and the breakfast was great. On arrival we were a bit disappointed that there was no kettle in the room and no teabags and there were two fairly small towels and one face/ hand towel to share and the safe didn’t work. There appears to be a kettle for the whole floor but that had no water, tea or milk. On the Saturday night the restaurant was excellent. |However, On Sunday the safe was still not fixed, the restaurant was disappointing, they completely forgot my wife’s meal order, they were out of my first choice meal and didn’t have the porter I wanted from the bar. When we got back neither our room, nor the neighbouring ones had been cleaned, or the coffee etc replaced, they just delivered some replacement towels and left the dirty ones in the bath. They offered to send someone to clean it but it was 10pm and we had mentioned it not being clean at 6.30pm. The reception staff just asked for photos to be sent in and claim it back from Expedia. It really spoilt what would otherwise have been a lovely stay.

The rooms are a lot smaller than advertised and the noise level is unbearable. Especially on the street side (Plaza de Armas) the traffic is constant during the night and you can hear everything from the street. And the bonus is your room door that has huge openings in both upper and lower parts, so you can practically see inside to the room - and of course hear everything from the restaurant downstairs.

This was an excellent welcome to Chile. It was our first time to South America and we are so happy we chose Hotel Santa Cruz as our first stop. It is a lovely hotel in every way. The grounds are exceptionally beautiful and vast. The museum is a must see. The food is delicious. The breakfast buffet is bountiful and very tasty. The staff is attentive and professional. They took care of parking and retrieving our rental car. We didn't visit the spa or the winery, but we did enjoy the other amenities very much. It's a great choice that you won't regret.

The restaurant had great food and excellent service, especially Elena Jimenez, who took care of our large group with grace and ease. We ordered typical Chilean pastel de Choclo, planteada, osobuco, and more! Beautiful old colonial architecture and an unhurried environment made for a fantastic lunch with friends between visits to local wineries.

This was a great place to stay. Felt very safe. The parking was good and so were the grounds. I really enjoyed the full breakfast each morning. Unlimited Sparkling wine with breakfast each day. They always had gluten-free bread. The staff were very kind and were always there to help. Housekeeping was wonderful. The beds made every day and the clean, fresh towels we nice and soft. I was happy with the fair pricing.
This place is located near so many great wineries. I would stay here again and again, and I promise to come back here.

Very good service in a wonderful place. Nice room and bedding. Delicious food with a good advice from the sommelier made a great dinner experience. Interesting museum and a lot of other places related to the hotel, to visit that enhanced the visit.

In the heart of Santa Cruz, with exceptional rooms, restaurant and ambiance. 4 nights here was great, but we could’ve stayed longer, alternating vineyard tours with a trip to the beach and other places. Each and every one of the staff was professional, courteous and helpful. Not to be missed!

We stayed in one of the Suites and it was an incredible experience. Comfort, good view, a jacuzzi to relax, very large space. ||The Hotel has a Restaurant, Wine Bar, Casino, and an amazing museum called the Colchagua Museum. The food is very delicious and sophisticated, with fresh seafood. The wines are a must. The art, the treatment of the staff, everything leads us to say that we will return!!
