Hotel Santa Cruz Plaza

This was a great place to stay. Felt very safe. The parking was good and so were the grounds. I really enjoyed the full breakfast each morning. Unlimited Sparkling wine with breakfast each day. They always had gluten-free bread. The staff were very kind and were always there to help. Housekeeping was wonderful. The beds made every day and the clean, fresh towels we nice and soft. I was happy with the fair pricing. This place is located near so many great wineries. I would stay here again and again, and I promise to come back here.

In the heart of Santa Cruz, with exceptional rooms, restaurant and ambiance. 4 nights here was great, but we could’ve stayed longer, alternating vineyard tours with a trip to the beach and other places. Each and every one of the staff was professional, courteous and helpful. Not to be missed!

We stayed in one of the Suites and it was an incredible experience. Comfort, good view, a jacuzzi to relax, very large space. ||The Hotel has a Restaurant, Wine Bar, Casino, and an amazing museum called the Colchagua Museum. The food is very delicious and sophisticated, with fresh seafood. The wines are a must. The art, the treatment of the staff, everything leads us to say that we will return!!

The hotel feels outdated and the bathroom is the worst. I feel I am owed a huge apology by the management and the staff at the reception desk. Today is August 15 2024, my husband and I spent two nights at this hotel in room 221. The first night was uneventful but last night, without any regards for the guests, the hotel began to have construction work that began before 9:00 pm and ended after 2:00 am. |The phone in our room didn’t work so calling the reception desk was not possible. After hours of agony with the most horrible construction work noise I had to dress and go downstairs to the reception to speak with an employee that said to had no idea what was going on. |Let me mention that the hotel was almost empty. The hotel had two separate buildings. I don’t understand if construction is going on how we can be given a room right next to the construction. |No explanation, no apologies at checkout. Total lack of consideration, common courtesy, and lack of empathy. |This shows a hotel run by people that don’t care about their customers. I believe that mistake happen, but when they happen empathy and courtesy is the least that can be expected. |I truly don’t recommend this place, not only for the need of renovation in the rooms but for the lack of customer service on the employees at the reception desk and the poor management

Older hotel but has amazing character and staff. Great breakfast buffet. Restaurant had amazing food!

Beautiful old hotel, nice rooms, food not too bad but restaurant service not great, no advance guidance how to avoid the digging up of plaza de armas, or how to explore the area

AC doesn't work, bedsheets even after changing have weird brown marks on them, and most importantly a mysterious extra 100 dollars was added to the bill. No explanation given beyond "tax", which is not actually what it is.

Such a unique and beautiful hotel, complete with a museum (which, unfortunately, I did not get to visit). Gorgeous furniture, great food, very helpful and friendly staff. It's in the middle of Southern Chilean wine country. And did I mention good pisco sours? Sadly, my stay there was way too short because I was there for a meeting but I highly recommend it.
