Nice hotel with great staff. However, we were told we had a $12 credit per person for breakfast at the restaurant, but when the bill came, we found out the credit could not be used for drinks (coffee and orange juice). These items were complimentary in another area of the hotel, and we only ordered them because we were told we had credit to use. I felt cheated and deceived.
Additionally, the hotel is not at all kids-friendly. My youngest son was talking and walking between the tables when a rude and unpleasant guest yelled at me, saying he was disrupting their breakfast. I picked him up, and guess what? Screams and cries of protest followed. He was behaving very well before, and we had to run out of the restaurant with a bill to pay for items we were told we had credit to cover.
I left in tears, desperate not to disturb the other guests. A very kind lady ran after me to give me a hug and told me I did great, that my son was well-behaved and wasn’t bothering her table at all. Thank you,l for that, ir meant the word to me. Apparently, people expect a child to stay still in one place in front of a screen during a family meal.
It was a horrible experience for me as a mother and a customer. We don’t plan on coming back.
