Hotel Santa Isabel

We traveled to Havana in August, myself and my daughter, after I had stayed here 10 years ago, and we were delighted to arrive again at this marvelous hotel! Everything about it is magical aura, super comfortable beds, cool ac and Wi-fi and glamorous, historical design. Special thanks to the Breakfast staff Daniela, the maids Iris and Melany, and the very kind and helpful night security guard who all worked so hard to make our stay perfect. |Everything about our stay was amazing: the beautiful magical streets, delicious restaurants, the hospitable and generous people we met, the compelling history of this fascinating country. VISIT HAVANA AND STAY HERE YOU WILL LOVE IT!

Good Localization and room for the plus categoria …but only this. |NO hot water for shower, NO elevator and service for luggage. |Super Bad breakfast.|Never recommend ! |Bad experience for vacation … you can find other good options with a good or the same price.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The WiFi connection is okay, which is a big advantage comparing to other Cuban hotels. The staff is enormously friendly and always keeps a smile on their faces to help you out. The breakfast is very good, starting with a coffee and a plate full of fruit. After that, you receive your omelette or whatever you decide to eat, served with a delicious fruit cocktail without alcohol. The rooms are clean and the location is perfect, finding its address almost next to the Malecon and its front door in La Plaza de Armas, one of the four big Plazas in the old city of Havana.

Central and beautiful location. Friendly staff willing to assist at any time.The room was huge with a king size bed and fluffy pillows. It was clean with all the amenities. The breakfast had a variety of salty and sweat tastes. Well prepared with amazing juices and fruits. Overall a great experience.

Really nice and clean hotel, centrally located in Havana. Touristic highlights at a short walking distance. Good service and a delicious breakfast (more than we could eat). Spacious rooms with comfortable beds, good airconditioning and fridge in the room.

Great Coffee and service. Very clean good location. Came with our tour of Havana. Enjoyed a very good cappuccino and very clean washrooms. Comfortable surroundings . Very nice covered patio . Manager and staff are pleasant and courteous.

Location, location, location and apart from this TERRIBLE. Health and safety nightmare. A fire door held open by a wooden wedge which dislodged easily, automatic closure but no door handles. The room we were initially put in was a potential death trap. There are so many things wrong with this hotel. It is living off past glory and is a 3 star on a better day. You could ignore the rough edges, if this hotel's staff made up for it by addressing the urgent issues rather than fobbing you off everytime. The staff are lazy and do not try to make the effort to rectify the guest's concerns. This hotel is misold living off location. Avoid as in this instance location, location, location isn't always that important - your healthy and safety is more important!
