Hotel Santa Justa Lisboa

A gem of a hotel. We arrived early to the hotel and was warmly greeted by Nadia. Even though we were early our room was upgraded and ready. While at check in we arranged a shuttle to the airport and a fantastic tour to Sintra. Nadia couldn’t have been more helpful. The room was big, clean and quiet. The hotel is in a great area. Walk out and everything is at your beckoned call. The hotel had a wonderful restaurant where we had dinner the first night. Food was delicious. The buffet breakfast in the morning was great and the bread was hot out of the oven. Pick up to the airport was right on time. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay in Lisbon. The room was large and well appointed. Clean and bright. Bed was a little hard, but I liked it while my wife wanted it a bit softer. Very friendly and helpful staff. Amazing location one block from the main street. Cars can't drive in front of the hotel after 10am so figure the luggage movement appropriately. That said, the staff will help when asked.

The room is very comfortable, a huge bed with an excellent mattress. But when they moved the chair in the next room, it sounded like I moved a chair in my room. Luckily there were no noisy people in the adjoining rooms. The breakfast is good, but the pancakes could be improved a bit and also varied a bit from time to time, the bacon too, some of it was overcooked and some of it was not quite cooked. The staff and service are excellent and I am satisfied with the service and stay at the hotel.

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay. The hotel was fantastic. Our room was large, impeccably clean , updated, and details from little gifts and a complimentary mini bar replenished daily were well thought out and appreciated. The location puts you in the heart of Lisbon’s Baixa district and many of the places we wanted to see were easily walkable. Even though it was on a busy street and our room faced the street, the soundproofing was perfect and we were not disturbed by any outside noise. While I normally do not eat at hotel restaurants for dinner, we ended up eating at their restaurant Elevador 3 times. The food was very good and the service fantastic. Igor was especially helpful and engaging. I highly recommend you stay here. It is a well managed hotel with friendly and helpful staff in the heart of Lisbon.

We stayed here for 6 days with 2 adjacent rooms to accomodate the in-laws staying with us. The front welcoming team made the checkin and checkout process very simple and when we had some circuit breaker issues, they responded quickly. The rooms were generously sized and the breakfast buffet was well worth the money. The location is one block from the Rossio Square where you can find cabs or have your Uber ride pick you up. You can pretty much walk to many of the historical sites in Lisbon.

My family and I stayed at Hotel Santa Justa for four nights as part of our vacation to Portugal. This is really an excellent hotel that felt premium and luxurious. The rooms and amenities were well thought out, designed and laid out with good use of space. We did not feel cramped at all in our suite with a family of four as the room felt very spacious and modern. The included free mini bar drinks with cold beer, coke, sparking water and water were especially welcomed after a day in the sweltering August heat and were restocked every day. The hotels also had its own restaurant (the Elevator) which we didn't try but we enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the food options available every morning all of which were fresh (especially the fruits) and delicious. The hotel staff were all very welcoming and friendly and very generous with us, we definitely appreciated their efforts and hardwork at making our stay great. The location was also a highlight, being placed on the north side of Baixa where you have easy and convenient access to one of Lisbon's most historic and vibrant areas, while just being a stones throw from a vast number of historical monuments and only several minutes walk from the Metro, busses and trams. At the same time, as incredible as its location is, it is also a slight bit of downside if you're someone who prefers a bit more peace and quiet. Being in Baixa there is still some night life in the area so there will be a fair bit of noise, sometimes into the later hours well past midnight. Also, the street of the hotel entrance is lined with restaurants who have staff standing by trying to get you to eat there everytime you walk by, which means you have to essentially run a "gauntlet" everytime you enter or leave the hotel. Now, none of these are the fault of the hotel at all as they cannot control these factors but it is important for anyone thinking of staying in Baixa to consider. With that said, Hotel Santa Justa is a lovely place to stay in Lisbon and I would highly recommend it.

An extraordinarily beautiful experience, where the little details make all the difference. Close to all the main tourist attractions. The staff is very kind and welcoming. I will definitely gladly return on my next trip to Lisbon.

This is for their restaurant Elevador. We walked by it the first day and thought they had a great looking menu but it's sorta crammed in with a row of touristy other restaurant options. Well we decided on our last night to give it a shot and so glad we did. The food was phenomenal. I appreciate they put effort into their vegetarian options by using plant based meats to add interest. The spring rolls were amazing. One fault was the service was super nice although at various times seemed to completely disappear. There are many restaurant options to chose from in this area but I highly recommend Elevador.

Our entire family, including a 3 yr old grandson simply loved this place, and are grateful to our friends who recommend this hotel. I promise you - you won't find a better place to stay in the heart of Lisbon! Wonderful hotel, excellent and attentive staff. We stayed twice during our trip to Portugal. Our rooms were spacious and super clean, the service fast and flexible. A couple of special requests were accommodated in quick and friendly fashion and we received great tips to explore Lisbon. We made all guide bookings through the concierge staff and were very happy with our excursions. Great stay and we will be back.

Today is our last night at this hotel. Excellent staff who speak different languages, nice and helpful. Breakfast is worth as it offers a variety of food in buffet style. We ate several times at the hotel's restaurant, Elevador Cervejeria Da Baixa, and all the food was delicious. Hotel centrally located close to touristic attractions.

Great little hotel in heart of tourist trap Lisbon. Quiet, even though on a busy pedestrian street full of very obnoxious touts flashing menus in your face as you walk buy. Recommend that the Santa Justa mangement have a conversation with the restaurants most adjacent to them about stopping or limiting the practice. The hotel staff is young and friendly. The management is very thoughtful with little gifts such as free port and Ginja- and the breakfasts are excellent. Recommend that they install carpeting in the rooms as you can hear people above you walking and moving chairs about. The place is spotless and the housekeeping is excellent.

Madrid - Tomar - Lisbon - Hotel Santa Justa! Checked in (early) and waited for just a bit at the outside dining area with a few drinks and some nice street music. Absolutely amazing staff as expected!

The hotel is in a really good location. It is located in the city center and in the middle of everything. Nearby is plenty of shopping, dining and a number of popular tourist spots. The Elevador de Santa Justa was fairly close by. We arrived to early for check-in and had to wait a couple hours before our room was ready. I was very tired after traveling all night and dosed off in the lobby. Eventually, we decided to have a light snack at the Restaurante Elevador in the lobby area. It was enough to keep me occupied until the rooms were ready. Our room was located in the building across from the lobby. The room is was a very decent size with a large bath. It is stocked with the typical amenities and included a free mini bar. The hotel offered a welcome gift of nata. The only thing lacking was closet space, however, thus wasn't really an issue for me. It was a short stay so living out of my bag worked just fine. We were lucky enough to have a corner room so we have window views of the streets below on both sides. Both windows opened creating a nice cross breeze when it was warmer out. This meant that I could hear the hustle and bustleof people and sometimes music below, however, nothing that kept me from sleeping. We barely turned on the television so I have no idea what channels were available to us. Overall, I thought the room was comfortable and I felt safe. I would stay here again. **Thus was a 3 night stay in Nov 2018**

Wow. This place turned a very difficult and horrible trip into a wonderful experience. We were on a cruise that was HORRIFIC and disembarked several days early and decided to stay on land here in Lisbon. From the moment we walked in - on, it's been a delight. They are kind and helpful and the room is luxurious for a reasonable price. I can't encourage you enough to select this hotel. In the middle of town with access to everything, kind and gracious staff, and all the willingness in the world to be helpful and give directions or really anything you need. They let us check in early and even gave us a room nicer than what we booked. 10 out of 5 stars. I'm not sure if I have his name right, but Nono at the front desk was a DELIGHT.

I've stayed in many nice hotels all over the world, but this was probably the BEST out of all of them. Great service, huge rooms with tons of space, a minibar where everything is FREE, beautiful bathroom, etc. etc. TV gets all the channels you would want, and it's located right in the middle of town. One downside is that, due to its central location, it's on a pedestrian-only road, but it's really not a big deal. They even send you an email explaining precisely how to get there. I really can't speak highly enough about this hotel. If I find myself in Lisbon again, I will definitely stay here. And you should too!

This is idyllic. Near everything. Staff is over the top helpful in hotel and restaurant. Walkable to everything in Lisboa. Breakfast superb. Lucked into this. Highly highly recommend it.

We stayed at the hotel two weeks! We were impressed with the room on the 4th floor. It was very modern, very quiet and very clean! Housekeeping is doing a great job changing sheets and towels everyday! It was a pleasure staying there! We highly recommend them!

Stayed in the Hotel San Justa for four nights and it was wonderful. Our room was on the second floor and had two large windows overlooking the street. The bathroom was clean and modern with a large shower and another window. The staff was wonderful and the buffet each morning was marvelous. The hotel was centrally located and had many dining and shopping options close by. I highly recommend staying here if you are in Lisbon!

We came to Lisbon for the first time in August to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday. This hotel, which is located in the middle of lots of restaurants and shops, was perfect place for us to spend eight nights. Free minibar offers bottle water, sparking water, beer, coke, and juice. The room was large enough for two of us and the bed was comfortable. Good housekeeping. Bathrobes and slippers were provided. Very quiet at night. We will definitely stay here again.

It's such a charming hotel and located in the middle of almost everything you'd want from Lisbon. Walk to the castle, Alfama, and Bairro Alto. The staff's really nice and you'll be welcomed with a small glass of port and natas. We were three and stayed in what I assumed a double room with an extra bed, all reasonably priced. It had two windows so you could open up the curtains and see both surrounding streets. The linens, nespresso machine, and toiletries provided were definitely a notch better than our previous hotel in Madrid, and we had a really nice and comfy stay. The decor feels like an high-end hotel without a comparable price tag. There's also a restaurant in the lobby as part of the hotel, although there are so many other restaurants and cafes nearby. It's in a lovely vibrant neighborhood and very accessible to pedestrians and visitors. I would recommend.

Fantastic hotel! Right in the middle of the town center. Great service and big clean rooms. They even gave us free minibar everyday. Five stars for sure.

Outstanding.. The service is good. The rooms are VERY convenient. It's modern, clean, nice and comfortable. The modern interior is contrasted with an old style terrace that brings both light and warmth to the room... Love, love, love!

Stayed at the hotel Santa Justa in November 2017 for 3 nights. Can not say enough about this fabulous hotel. The location is great and easy walk to just about everywhere. The rooms are large and spacious for Europe standards. Service was fantastic as well. Everyone was pleasant and really seemed to go out of their way to make sure our trip was enjoyable. Added benefit of free mini bar with chocolates, wine, champagne and port refreshed daily.

This is a beautiful, modern hotel with excellent service. Staff is friendly and the room is spacious and immaculate. I love the updated bathrooms so they are very luxurious - you never want to get out! Within steps outside, you can grab food anywhere since it's in a great locations. You can take a stroll anywhere. This also means beware - you'll be hounded by local employees at the restaurants downstairs to eat at their spot. I'm used to this living in a tourist destination also. The other downside is difficulty finding the hotel. It's located off the driving path down cobblestones and restaurants and only available by foot so I had a challenge finding it at first.

This hotel is actually located on a pedestrian street in the heart of the tourist restaurants of Lisbon,but don't let that discourage you!! It is so centrally located that it was easy to get everywhere in Lisbon. Clean, quiet, centrally located...I will be staying here again!

Such a wonderful hotel stay! It's perfectly located in the city center and close to sites and shopping. The clean and comfortable rooms are larger than most in Europe. I highly recommend the restaurant, as well. The food was delicious and the waiters were friendly. They love their city and want you to enjoy it, too!

Great location in downtown Lisbon. Good base for exploring Portugal. Everything in Central Lisbon is within walking distance. Very satisfied with our week stay.
