Hotel Santa Justa Lisboa

My family and I stayed at Hotel Santa Justa for four nights as part of our vacation to Portugal. This is really an excellent hotel that felt premium and luxurious. The rooms and amenities were well thought out, designed and laid out with good use of space. We did not feel cramped at all in our suite with a family of four as the room felt very spacious and modern. The included free mini bar drinks with cold beer, coke, sparking water and water were especially welcomed after a day in the sweltering August heat and were restocked every day. The hotels also had its own restaurant (the Elevator) which we didn't try but we enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the food options available every morning all of which were fresh (especially the fruits) and delicious. The hotel staff were all very welcoming and friendly and very generous with us, we definitely appreciated their efforts and hardwork at making our stay great. The location was also a highlight, being placed on the north side of Baixa where you have easy and convenient access to one of Lisbon's most historic and vibrant areas, while just being a stones throw from a vast number of historical monuments and only several minutes walk from the Metro, busses and trams. At the same time, as incredible as its location is, it is also a slight bit of downside if you're someone who prefers a bit more peace and quiet. Being in Baixa there is still some night life in the area so there will be a fair bit of noise, sometimes into the later hours well past midnight. Also, the street of the hotel entrance is lined with restaurants who have staff standing by trying to get you to eat there everytime you walk by, which means you have to essentially run a "gauntlet" everytime you enter or leave the hotel. Now, none of these are the fault of the hotel at all as they cannot control these factors but it is important for anyone thinking of staying in Baixa to consider. With that said, Hotel Santa Justa is a lovely place to stay in Lisbon and I would highly recommend it.

good size rooms with a great soundproofing windows. staff are all great and helpful. front desk, restaurant staff and housekeepers all were great. nothing can beat the location of this Hotel, right in the heart of Lisbon. definitely get room with breakfast, their buffet has good items and you can also order omelette from kitchen. they also gave us a gift last day before check out

Hotel is on a perfect location. Staff is very friendly and they help you will all the questions regarding transportation and tours. This was a family trip (2adults and 2 teen). Rooms are very confortables. We reserved the family room. Mini is Al way full of water bottles , juice and beer (complementary). Every day we found in our room a little and delicious gift from the hotel. We also tried the restaurant one night (there is also Fado music), it was amazing. I definitely will be back to Hotel Santa Justa.

Hotel Santa Justa had a great location right in the middle of Baixa. We stayed in the “family room” which is basically two rooms connected by a hallway. This worked perfect for our family as it gave us our own space (and own bathroom) but still able to feel like we were in one room. |A lot of positives for this hotel. Location was great as it was within walking distance of plenty of restaurants (both the touristy ones and really nice finds) and the train station. Housekeeping always timed their cleaning when we were out. Complimentary mini bar (drinks and such) was a huge help and the gift they laid out (a small bottle of port and pastries) was a nice touch. The beds were extremely comfortable, the shower water pressure was strong (along with a light show when you shower) and it was very quiet at night.|However, I did not think the hotel breakfast was worth it (19 EUR buffet). I’d rather go to the cafes within walking distance but at least the breakfast opens up at 7AM in case you were looking for an early start to the day.|Because of its location, you cannot get an uber (or get dropped off) right in front of the hotel, but my family was fine lugging luggage for the two blocks. |Overall, an excellent family-friendly hotel for touring Lisbon.

We stayed in a family suite, plenty of room with excellent storage areas (very important when sharing space). Location is second to none, we walked everywhere! Day trip to Sintra was super easy, we walked to train station. Was such a breeze. Most sights can be seen with an easy walk, we loved it. Breakfast team was so kind, all food was super fresh. We were so spoiled every day! Thanks for having us, we hope to come back again!

We stayed at the Santa Justa Hotel in July 2025 and everything was perfect — just like it was 10 years ago when we first visited. This time, we came back with our two daughters, and the experience was just as exceptional.||The junior suite was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The welcome and attention throughout our stay were outstanding — the staff truly goes out of their way to make guests feel at home.||The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of the Baixa district, with all major attractions, shops, and restaurants just a short walk away.||A special mention for the service: one day, we accidentally left the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, so the room wasn’t cleaned. We asked for it to be done during dinner time, and it was taken care of without hesitation — something we really appreciated.||A truly wonderful stay. We highly recommend this hotel and would happily return again!

Hotel and wonderful staff greatly exceeded our expectations. Staff goes over and above to help guests. Romando came to our rescue when airport taxi tried to overcharge us. (FYI go outside to taxi stand and get a legitimate taxi) The hotel and restaurant across the street are fantastic. Delicious meal and Fado show. Excellent room new finishes and linens. Wonderful location on a beautiful pedestrian street close to restaurants and shopping. We really enjoyed our stay last week. Highly recommend!

What a great hotel!! The lobby, the rooms, the staff everything was 5-star. The decor is upscale in the lobby and the rooms. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated with large bathroom, powerful hair dryer, an iron.. hooks to hang towels. Everything was super clean. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. It was located at a very central location with everything in walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel and I intend to stay again when I come back!
