Really basic rooms, for some reason our bed was on wheels. That was interesting! The shower NEVER GOT HOT. sometimes it was downright cold. The towels and bedding were nice quality and cleaned and changed daily, that was nice. The parking garage around the corner was safe and convenient.

We stayed at Hotel Santa Lucia twice and enjoyed our stay both times. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The bathroom could use some refreshing and maintenance but otherwise didn’t affect being able to enjoy a hot shower each day. It is a historical building showing some wear but that is also part of its charm. The Parque Santa Lucia is across the street and the main plaza a five minute walk. With numerous cafes, restaurants or historical sites within easy access, the location is perfect. From Sebastian gliding us through the check in process with kind proficiency; to Flor ensuring everything was clean and always ready with a friendly smile and greeting, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay her again.

Absolutely disgusting hotel. Rooms smell damp and are covered with black mould. Floor is dirty. Hairs (not ours!) everywhere, stain on the sheet, tiles broken, walls in need of extensive decoration. It’s a 2 star at best. To top it all, found a cigarette in the bathroom. Absolutely ross - do not waste your money.

Rooms are dated and in need of a refresh. We had no hot water for our whole stay. There are only two charging outlets in the room in odd/inconvenient places. The worst aspect was the noise - the place seemed to become a hub of activity from about 6am every day with shouting and stomping down the stairs, meaning we got a bad night’s sleep for our whole stay.

Small central boutique hotel. Very friendly and good breakfast. Excellent restaurants opposite.

This is a very dated hotel. In my room there was a small latch for a lock, no safe, no card to put on the door that you wanted privacy, water wasn't complementary, and the shower curtain was kind of shredded. The room was clean, though. The beds were comfy, and the water pressure was good. Also the front desk staff were very nice. Very centrally located for walking around the city. Next door is a lovely restaurant.

I searched far and wide for many days looking for a place we would like. We were happy with these accomodations. We had one of the better rooms in the newer section. The TV had lots of chanels, something I was worried about since the NFL playoffs were going to be on. Nice hot water when we needed it! There was furniture we could use to put our clothes away, and a spot for the suitcases. The front desk staff was friendly. Really a great stay as far as price to quality. La chaya maya for authentic Yucatan food is right out the door, as is The Apostol tap room for Excellent Craft Beers. Bonus - Taqueria la union down the street has some great authentic tacos!! We asked for and got more towels, toilet paper etc.|| The only thing we didn't like was that the OXXO stores were about a 10 minute walk away to get beer. No fridges in any rooms either. Therefore we didn't particularly like the location as we kept having to hike all the way to the Plaza everyday. Might be better to stay closer to the plaza. They need more tables at the pool area. There were only 2 for the whole hotel, and they always seemed to be occupied whenever we wanted to use them.
