Sparse hotel, clean enough with twin beds. Old carpet, old mattresses, rough toilet paper and no Kleenex or tissue available. Breakfast is cakes, tasteless breads, beans & cold rice, eggs, yogurt and fruit. Enough to fill you up , but not necessarily good, except for the baked apples and fresh watermelon. This hotel is great if you are deaf because the paper thin walls allow you to hear full conversations and every bathroom urination and every shower. I was jarred awake multiple times each night with doors, showers and the sounds of people urinating. The doors do not shut unless you slam them. Last night I thought it was time to get up because I heard the door slam, urination and shower of the room next door. I got up only to discover it was midnight and they had just arrived back. |The positives: There is a refrigerator in the room, a good location and steamed milk beside the coffee in the dining room. Also, since we are in a group, the breakfast is basic but there is another area with better quality food, variety and espresso. Staff in the dining room seem indifferent. If you drop a fork on the marble, the staff will not even hear the load echo on the marble floor. They seem to be there only to clean up after you leave, even though they are in waiter whites attire. Again, this is a group and you are basically invisible. No coffee pot in the rooms but possibly room service, but it only starts at 07:30 am.
