They charge you to park car 15 Swiss franc per day even if you don’t use underground car park and just park outside hotel ,breakfast is very expensive and hot food is limited .The bar area is basic, swim area and fitness area is very good,they also charge a local tax,

We had a great time. Two rooms at the end with our own big door, so like a suite. We had two little kids and 5 adults. Spacious. Good food. Friendly staff. And a very good deal with the water park included. Would love to go again. Clean and Covid-19 conscious.

We reserved one of the junior suites for a family gathering. We needed a room that had space for two people to work remotely in between family festivities. This was the perfect option.||Pros:|*Immaculate, spacious room |* Table in the living room, pulls out to make an L desk perfect for working during the day.|* Fantastic Wi-Fi|* More storage than any hotel room I have ever stayed in. There are closets everywhere.|* Stunning views of Santis.|* Spacious deck to enjoy the weather.|* Wonderful restaurant for dinner, lunch and breakfast.|* Excellent communication from the hotel staff, friendly and courteous.||CONS:|* Hair dryer is not powerful|* No ironing, board or iron in the room.|* You will need a car or use some sort of ride share transportation to visit the city center||This was a wonderful hotel experience, and I would stay here again. Hopefully next time we will stay longer to take advantage of the spa and water features this property offers.

Excellent place to stay for work and leisure. Best rooms with beautiful views of the alps and green landscapes. Food quality is very good and reasonably priced too. Must stay place in Abtwil St Gallen, Switzerland. Near by places to visit are mount Santis, Peter and Paul wild life park with amazing views.

We booked the Happy Family package and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Santis. Its a beautiful hotel and yet also completely kid friendly at the same time! The lobby is pristine and yet there is a little kids play room - so great for kids. The food at the restaurant hotel far exceeded our expectations. Our table for dinner was already set up for us and had the necessary high chairs for our girls. We adults enjoyed a beautiful and well presented dinner that was delicious and our girls were able to eat immediately and choose their food from the kid buffet. Breakfast was just as amazing with again tons of choices for both adults and children. The wait staff at the restaurant in the hotel were friendly and very accommodating. The Happy Family package included tickets to the water park which the kids enjoyed immensely. We had a wonderful time here and our daughter asked if we could go again right after we got home. We are planning to make this a trip we will take every year!

We booked about six months in advance to get the M-Budget room for my wife's birthday. What a treat! Not only is it a playful visual experience that will make unforgettable photos, it's also a perfectly nice hotel room. The restaurant was also a gem, in that it both had elegant touches and was child-friendly...an almost impossible combination to find. A great place to show our well-behaved six-year-old the joys of fine dining. They do dinner nicely at a reasonable price for this country. Don't expect culinary pyrotechnics, just good, solid Swiss classics like Fischknusperli and Cordon bleu. And a pleasant dessert to go with. Mini-golf and water slides right next door made the whole weekend totally perfect.

We stayed in a comfort suite - bedroom for adults and partitioned room for the kids with bunk beds (probably not suitable for late teens or older).||Room modern and very tastefully decorated. But during summer heat the air con was woefully poor. Great bathroom.||Water park is a short walk through a shopping centre. Amazing variety of pools, wave machine, slides etc. Spotlessly clean despite being very busy.||Would return.

We spent one week at this hotel - Christmas included. |We had a great time here. When we arrived we were surprised to find our dog had a treat, a bowl and a blanket where to sleep so we did not use the one we brought. |We also received treats which were placed on the beds and sparkling and still water daily. |Our job was really spacious and comfortable. Enough space for the three of us and the dog. |We also had a little terrace which was really appreciated. From it we could see the mountains. |We had the chance to enjoy Säntispark which is some meters walking from the hotel. |A bus stop is also right at the back of the hotel which is really convenient. |We did not have breakfast at the hotel during our stay. We prefer to sleep longer each day rather than keeping up with breakfast schedules. |Another positive thing about this hotel was the parking which was accesible with the room card.|What we in general enjoyed our stay at the hotel we consider more can be done to|Improve the guests experience:|1. A water kettle. Who would not like having tea or coffee specially in winter? |2. A mini empty refrigerator. Although the terrace/patio was cold enough, I would not imagine use it during the summer to cool down drinks. |3. Cleaning could be improved. Our room was not not properly cleaned. We took our dog with us when going so he was not in the way of cleaning staff. Our beds were made and water was replenished, as well as toilet paper but dusting or vacuum cleaning was not done. We found dust on the drawers, night tables and floor. |4. Cleaning staff did not speak English. It was difficult communicating with them. ||Apart from those things, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay.|
