Hotel Sant'Orso - Mountain Lodge & Spa

Nice view and friendly staff. Rooms and spa are quite small - much smaller than visible from photos online. The chemicals in the pool are so strong you can smell them throughout the hotel and in when inside the bubble bath your eyes will burn. Open air bubble bath is better. In my room I found hairs on the wall of the shower which staff did not remove despite my complaints. The walls are very thin - I could hear my neighbors conversations quite well. Breakfast was ample and tasty.

I absolutely loved everything about this place! It is set in such an idylic location, with tremendous views everywhere you look. It felt small and uncrowded but still with multiple options for meals or shopping.||We were a group of five. My husband and I shared a two-floor room with a loft with our 21 yo son. He had a nice big space downstairs with his own half-bath and a little balcony and great views. Upstairs, we have a wonderful skylight over our bed, a great bathroom with a fantastic shower. Our older son and his wife stayed a few hours down in a single room that was also lovely with a nice bath and great views.||We thoroughly enjoyed the spa facilities. Two of us got massages, everyone spent time in the outdoor hottub with the fabulous view of the mountains, and loved the indoor pool with all its jets and again a fabulous pool. The various relaxation rooms were also quite nice and we thoroughly enjoyed.||We never ate dinner in the restaurant but we had breakfast every morning and thoroughly appreciated the staff and the hospitality. There were plenty of food options for everyone, the squeezed-to-order orange juice was wonderful, andwe liked the views and the people watching from the breakfast room.||We also enjoyed the cocktail bar, both drinking in the lovely lounge and sitting outside in the lawn chairs. ||The lawn area is spectacular -- loads of comfy seats, sun and shade options, incredible views. And right next door a fantastic playground for those with kids (or kids-at-heart).||One night there was live music on the patio outside the bar, they were great.||And most of all, we found the staff to all be welcoming, professional, helpful, and made sure our stay was the best it could be.||I really really really hope we'll be able to go back again one day!

Three days in this beautiful region and a wonderful stay at Hotel Sant’Orso. We stayed in a loft room which is beautifully appointed with ample room for two adults (not sharing). Breakfast was lovely and the views from the restaurant area set you up for the day. The hotel is ideally located for walks to several unique destinations and the front desk staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Make sure you enjoy the bar before dinner - cocktails are lovely and the Campari antipasto bar changes every night.

This family run hotel is located in one of the most amazing areas of the Aosta Valley, and within the special village of Cogne. The views from the hotel are simply breathtaking, and its prime position makes it an ideal base for exploring the area. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome from the attentive and excellent staff. Their helpfulness with any issue made our stay enjoyable. The hotel itself is maintained to a very high standard, with excellent rooms and facilities. We were particularly impressed with the excellent wellness center, which is with very high quality facilities. Overall, a special place with a home atmosphere and amazing views, attentive service, and a perfect location in the great village of Cogne. We will hopefully be back. Thank you for unforgettable experience !

We spent some amazing days in this hotel. It is very new, the ambience is nice, people are kind. Breakfast was included in our reservation, you had a buffet with plenty of choices, as well as a little menu (no extras charged for this) with some hot dishes to ask for. Coffee was delicious! The rooms were always clean, they smelled amazing. The restaurant of the hotel is one of the bests in town. Very recommended! For the restaurant and the massages, it is recommended to book in advance, as they are usually fully booked every night. A very special mention to Giovanni, who welcomed us in the reception every day with a huge kindness, a smile, and a good recommendation of activities/places to visit in town. Thank you all!

Highly recommended! Position is super: in front of child activity zone, very friendly staff, super new clean room on the 4 floor, spa is very cozy and clean (they have amazing infusions!) and I’ve tried amazing facial. For sure best place in Cogne to stay at

A very beautiful hotel in a stunning location with very friendly staff. It’s an excellent starting point for hikes. The rooms are nice and clean and offer fantastic views of the Gran Paradiso from the balcony. The spa provides great relaxation options, including a swimming pool and jacuzzi. The lodge bar is a pleasant spot to enjoy delicious cocktails. Despite the unfortunate events in Cogne, we were very well taken care of at the hotel. We wish the best to all the staff and Cogne!

The food was delicious, sometime a bit expensive but really very great. Been going there for years and the staff are wonderful and incredibly accommodating. The hotel is also great, beds sometimes a bit hard and uncomfortable but overall super cozy.
