HOTEL SARAVANA BHAVAN

Visited the place after a really long time. I was a regular to their Egmore branch about 2 decades back, during its beginning days. The quality and taste of food is almost same. Sadly, their service is at the lowest now! Sincerely hoping they rise back to their previous glory again.

Extremely disappointing experience. The staff were arrogant and dismissive, showing no courtesy or willingness to assist. The food was well below expectations — bland, cold, and lacked the authentic taste you’d expect from a place with this reputation. To make matters worse, the service was painfully slow. We had to wait an unusually long time for even basic items, and follow-ups were met with indifference. Overall, a very poor experience. Definitely not worth the visit.

Came from Assam, with a great thoughts, friends who visited Chennai, asked me to enjoy food from Hotel Saravana bhavan. O ho, so careless the staffs. Spend 45 minutes to orders. Don't why friends suggested me. 🤔

We ordered online before But they called after the train passed We risky waited 10 minutes at egmore cloak room and the train announced passing away😒😒 After train running cc executive called and sir your order is waiting for you at cloak room 😄 but we can't stop the train tirukkural express Then They informed the amount paid by customer no refund Plz do not orderor tfist this type of irresponsible orders through zomato when you journey👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

WORST EVER EXPERIENCE! Food ,ambience,SERVICE is worst! We have ordered fruit pudding ,instead they served kesari and argued that’s a fruit pudding and denied taking it back!

I have taken parcel of kadai panneer and mushroom fried rice but I could literally see no panneer except chopped onion and tomato gravy. Even quantity of fries rice is very less. Even on the box of fried rice I found hair particle. I regret I wasted money at this restaurant.
