"South Indian Delights at Saravana Bhavan Dosas, thalis, and tiffins! Saravana Bhavan specializes in South Indian cuisine. Each dosa comes with unlimited sambar and three chutneys - the tomato chutney being the house favorite. It is authentic, vegetarian, and very popular with the locals. Waits, especially on weekends, can be lengthy. Be sure and sample the Rava Masala Dosa, washed down with fresh lime juice."

If you’re craving authentic South Indian flavors in Delhi, this place is an absolute gem. From the moment we stepped in, we were transported straight to the heart of South India with the aroma of spices and ghee wafting through the air. We started with their **Podi Idli**, and it was nothing short of amazing. Soft idlis generously coated in flavorful podi (spice mix) and drizzled with ghee—every bite was packed with taste and warmth. Next, we dove into a variety of **dosas**, and each one had its own charm. The **Masala Dosa** was perfectly crisp on the outside with a spicy, well-seasoned potato filling. The **Ghee Masala Roast Dosa** was rich, indulgent, and had that golden crunch we love. We also tried the **Rava Masala Dosa**, which was light and crispy, with a semolina texture that added a unique twist. The **Onion Masala Dosa** came loaded with sweet, caramelized onions that balanced the spices beautifully. Each dish was served with fresh chutneys and piping hot sambar, elevating the overall experience. Whether you’re a die-hard South Indian food lover or trying it for the first time, this spot in Delhi is a must-visit. The authenticity, variety, and quality of food will leave you coming back for more. Note: You may have to wait for 10-15 min.

Amazing authentic south indian food. Quality wise best. You just have to wait bit longer for your order.

On my trip to Germany I came across this restaurant called Saravana Bhavan. If you're craving authentic South Indian food in Berlin, Saravana Bhavan is the place to be. Located conveniently in the heart of the city, this vegetarian haven delivers a delicious slice of Tamil Nadu right to your table. From the moment we stepped in, the warm hospitality set the tone. Special mention to Mr. Akshay, who made our experience exceptional with his courteous and attentive service. He patiently walked us through the menu, offered great recommendations, and ensured we were comfortable throughout. We tried the Mini Tiffin, which was perfect — crispy dosa, fluffy idlis, vada, special rice , and a mini dessert — all served with piping hot sambar and three types of chutneys. The dosa was thin, golden, and crispy, just like back home, and the filter coffee was spot on — strong, aromatic, and served the traditional way in a tumbler and dabarah. The ambience is clean and simple, staying true to the brand’s roots — functional yet welcoming. You’ll find a mix of locals and Indians, which is always a sign of a place doing things right. Whether you're missing home-cooked South Indian food or introducing your friends to Indian vegetarian cuisine, Saravana Bhavan in Berlin is an experience worth having. With excellent food, authentic flavors, and impeccable service (shoutout again to Mr. Akshay, the one with great moustache), it’s a must-visit.

If you're searching for a reasonably priced place with good-quality food, you'll love it. Even the portion size is bigger, so you do not have to worry about ordering another dish. The staff were super friendly .

The place is a good with decent flavours of Tamil Nadu, but fell short to match the actual taste of those branches in Chennai... Still conviently located in CP and offers goods dining options..

I don’t understand what the hype is all about. I recently visited Hotel Saravana Bhavan and tried medu vada and butter masala dosa. Dosa and chutneys were pretty decent. But I did not liked the sambar, it was little thick and tasted more like daal

Nice authentic south Indian food at a reasonable price. There was a wait of 10-15 mins on Sunday night at 8.30pm.

The restaurant had a-lot of items on their menu, I recommend getting the dosa since it is freshly made with masala tea. The service from the staff was good and fast. I would rate the food 8.3/10!
