"South Indian Delights at Saravana Bhavan Dosas, thalis, and tiffins! Saravana Bhavan specializes in South Indian cuisine. Each dosa comes with unlimited sambar and three chutneys - the tomato chutney being the house favorite. It is authentic, vegetarian, and very popular with the locals. Waits, especially on weekends, can be lengthy. Be sure and sample the Rava Masala Dosa, washed down with fresh lime juice."

I recently tried the Tamil Nadu meals Set Thali at Saravana Bhavan CP, and it was a genuinely tasty and authentic experience. The spread was impressive, featuring flavorful Sambar, Rasam, and a huge, fluffy Poori that hit the spot. While the food was excellent and left me feeling satisfied, the service was just "ok ok"—efficient enough but lacking warmth. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit for the delicious food if you don't mind strictly functional service

Food taste was good. Price is as per location. In our visit we asked for 2 parcels which they misunderstood and came to serve than while correcting them they took more then half hour to ready the parcel

Amazing authentic south indian food. Quality wise best. You just have to wait bit longer for your order.

If you're searching for a reasonably priced place with good-quality food, you'll love it. Even the portion size is bigger, so you do not have to worry about ordering another dish. The staff were super friendly .

On my trip to Germany I came across this restaurant called Saravana Bhavan. If you're craving authentic South Indian food in Berlin, Saravana Bhavan is the place to be. Located conveniently in the heart of the city, this vegetarian haven delivers a delicious slice of Tamil Nadu right to your table. From the moment we stepped in, the warm hospitality set the tone. Special mention to Mr. Akshay, who made our experience exceptional with his courteous and attentive service. He patiently walked us through the menu, offered great recommendations, and ensured we were comfortable throughout. We tried the Mini Tiffin, which was perfect — crispy dosa, fluffy idlis, vada, special rice , and a mini dessert — all served with piping hot sambar and three types of chutneys. The dosa was thin, golden, and crispy, just like back home, and the filter coffee was spot on — strong, aromatic, and served the traditional way in a tumbler and dabarah. The ambience is clean and simple, staying true to the brand’s roots — functional yet welcoming. You’ll find a mix of locals and Indians, which is always a sign of a place doing things right. Whether you're missing home-cooked South Indian food or introducing your friends to Indian vegetarian cuisine, Saravana Bhavan in Berlin is an experience worth having. With excellent food, authentic flavors, and impeccable service (shoutout again to Mr. Akshay, the one with great moustache), it’s a must-visit.

I recently visited Hotel Sarvan Bhawan, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel maintains good cleanliness, and the atmosphere is comfortable for families as well as individuals. The staff is polite and helpful whenever you need assistance. One of the best things about this place is the food. The quality, taste, and freshness of the dishes were really impressive. Whether it was the main course or the snacks, everything tasted well-prepared and satisfying. It’s definitely a good spot for anyone who enjoys homely and flavorful food. However, the service was slightly slow. Although the staff was courteous, there were noticeable delays in serving food and attending to requests. This didn’t create a major issue, but improving the speed of service would enhance the overall experience even more. In summary, Hotel Sarvan Bhawan is a good place with tasty food and a comfortable environment. If they work a little on speeding up their service, it can easily become an excellent choice for visitors.

Came here for breakfast, friendly service, but the cleanliness of the dining area should have been better considering the location. My masala dosa was on point though, crispy batter and flavourful potato filling.

Food is worth the price. You can explore great amount of south Indian varieties- especially tamil ones. I will recommend their dry fruits dosa which might sound indifferent but worth it. Apart from that food taste different in comparison to other south indin cuisines. Must try filter coffee after meal , which is great way to End the meal here. Might have to wait 10-20 minutes during peak hours.
