Hotel Sardinero Madrid

Loved it here! Personnel was amazing, rooms and view pretty, location great. Got upgraded to a better room once we arrived and got a bottle of sparkling wine free of charge :) they also provided free water bottles in the mini bar! Would def come back :)

What a stunning hotel, just beautiful architecture, from the little details like the stairwell and stained windows! Staff are so lovely and helpful! We had such a warm welcome and we upgraded to a premium corner room which is recommended! Fantastic views of the front fountains and lights! Love having a balcony with open doors too! Room was massive and comfortable bed! Plenty of space for 2 people and nice big bathroom! Glad they have shutters for privacy too! Could not fault this hotel, the location is right on central in a quieter part of the city but everything is within walking distance! Highly recommend! Love rooftop terrace also! And love they give water bottles everyday!

Wow, what a lovely hotel. ||We booked the Tower Suite to make our stay extra special, and it didn't disappoint.||The room has two terraces, east and west, which are great to relax in the sun with a bottle of bubbles kindly gifted from the hotel.||The bathroom is gorgeous, as is the main bedroom and bell tower up the spiral stairs.||The bell tower has small windows, and on our stay, the moonlight shined through and down onto our bed, which was very romantic.||A previous review I read complained that there were no robes. That is true. There were no robes in the room but a quick call to reception, and they were promptly delivered to our room.||Hotel breakfast can be a bit bland, but I'd happily recommend getting the breakfast here.||Finally, a mention about the staff... The room was excellent, we got on upgrade to the deluxe room which was so sweet. The hotel was so beautiful. We had a great time we even wish we had stayed longer to enjoy more tge hotel. As the room was great, lovely heating and super confortable bed. Its location is also very good as you are just a 15 min walk away from gran via. Definetly will return and recomend it to anyone.

Our stay in Sardinero was ok the location is in the Alfonso Martinez neighbourhood with the metro right outside. The room was very clean and beds and pillows were comfortable. The reason I give three stars is the bar/restaurant is completely unattended. Each time we sat in for a drink we had to go to reception after 15-20 mins to ask for someone to serve us. They had special menu advertised on a board outside the restaurant, on every single table and on their website for Monday to Friday 1pm - 11pm for €14 for main, dessert and drink. However when we went to order the girl said it was finished at this time…. 5pm on a Monday. False advertising and a way to get full price out of you. We had no other option as we needed to eat as we were heading out to a concert. This was a very disappointing aspect. They should not advertise this if they’re not offering it. I won’t be returning.

Stayed in a comfortable and well-appointed room within a beautiful heritage-protected building. Central location with the metro just across the road, lots of restaurants around, close to shopping, and not far from attractions/sights. Reception staff were polite and helpful. Buffet breakfast was superb. Nice bar/lounge area to relax in.

Very comfortable. The location is perfect - right near a metro. Lots of nice bars, restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The bar is a bit soulless but handy for getting hot water if you fancy tea in your room. Breakfast was great and well worth the price.

Everything in the hotel was extremely good. The staff was very polite, friendly and able to always help; rooms were extremely comfortable and well insulated sound and temperature wise; the bed was very good and the overall space was extremely pleasant and the best part is the location. Extremely easy to go to anywhere in Madrid.
