Hotel Sardinero Madrid

Perfect location (you can walk downtown in 20min or grab the metro opposite the hotel). Beautiful listed building. Rooms are not too expensive and of a very decent size. Area is quiet but very close to nightlife. Staff is welcoming and super helpful. Special thanks to Alicia for her smile and assistance on our last day in Madrid! ❤️ Warmly recommend.

I enjoyed my stay at Sardinero Madrid. The location is great—quiet suburb, metro station right across the road, only 10 min to the city centre. Lots of places to eat/drink and a good-priced supermarket 5 min away.|The hotel is in a beautiful building; the interior is very stylish. Lift to the dining room and spectacular sun terrace on the 5th floor. A few steps at reception (could be tricky to somebody but Im sure staff will assist if needed).|The hotel team is extremely friendly and makes you feel welcome from the first step; 24h reception.|Our standard room was big enought for 2 of us and we have with everything needed. Nice bedding, pillow menu. No USB plug—take your own adapter. Bathroom with good-quality toiletries, big fluffy towels, great shower. Ironing board in the room; can hire iron & kettle.|Spotless clean everywhere.|Breakfast included (add for €15/day)—great! Not a huge choice but everything you want: English breakfast, pastries, cheeses, salami, yogurt, even sparkling wine. All fresh & super tasty. Only the coffee could be better but there is plenty other great quality drinks available. |Stay again—absolutely yes.

Sardinero Madrid is a lovely, friendly, and democratic hotel in a superb location. It is easy to stay here: nobody bothers you with unnecessary attention or officious politeness. You can truly feel at home. The staff are very friendly, professional, and helpful. The rooms are simple, clean, and spacious (I stayed in a superior room with a terrace). The location is excellent — it is in a local neighborhood yet close to the city’s major central areas.

This was our third time staying in El Sardinero, and it keeps reminding us why we return. The staff are genuinely warm and attentive, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The hotel itself couldn’t be better situated, right in the heart of the area and housed in a beautiful building that adds charm to the whole experience. A consistently delightful place to stay.

Great location and nice staff. The rooms were clean and relatively big but not very functional. We were allocated a modified, accessible room so maybe this isn’t representative of all the rooms.’ It had no towel rack, the floors flooded every time we showered because the screen didn’t enclose and there very limited bench space. Our AC was not very effective (luckily it wasn’t too hot) but our room was often warmer than it was outside. The outdoor terrace was also lovely and there are lots of delicious Places very close by.

We stayed in Hotel Sardinero at the end of a 3 week visit to Spain. It was the perfect location for us, a bit away from the busier areas but easy to reach by either a bit of a walk or via metro. The room was lovely, extremely quiet at night due to well insulated walls and windows. The breakfast was very nice. The reception staff were especially kind and helpful, answering our various questions, giving advice regarding the metro and other queries we had.

Hotel Sardinero Madrid is a very well located and clean hotel, with lots of amenities available to guests. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the room was spacious and very clean. The only minor complaint is that the AC seemed to switch to "away" mode after a couple of hours, so it would get warm at night in the room. But overall, a great hotel (and it also smells really nice all throughout the hotel).

Away from the tourist centers of Plaza Mayor, Sol and Gran Via but with easy access via metro, this hotel gives you a place to rest in an elegant atmosphere. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. I didn't try the restaurant but there are many venues nearby. I would love to stay here again!
