There’s no denying the incredible potential of this Tuscan hotel. Nestled in one of the most picturesque locations imaginable, surrounded by rolling hills and bathed in golden light, it offers a truly serene escape. The biggest draw? Its own thermal pool fed by a natural spring — an absolute luxury and a rare find. Soaking in the mineral-rich waters while gazing out at the countryside is an experience hard to beat.
However, the hotel itself tells a different story. While the surroundings are breathtaking, the interior is, unfortunately, stuck in the past. Décor, furniture, and fittings are all tired and dated — clearly in need of a full refurbishment. It feels like the property hasn’t been meaningfully updated in years, and this takes away from the otherwise magical setting.
Even more baffling is the hotel’s missed opportunity when it comes to its own spa brand. They proudly sell their own line of spa products, yet none of them are used or offered in the guest bathrooms. This feels like a real marketing misstep — why not let guests fall in love with the products during their stay? It’s a small touch that could have elevated the experience and promoted their brand in a much more authentic way.
With some investment and vision, this hotel could easily become one of Tuscany’s premier wellness destinations. Until then, it remains a beautiful place with so much promise — but one that doesn’t quite live up to its full potential.
