This is a great hotel and we were surprised that it say its a 2 star. ||Room was great, really comfy beds.||There's a lovely bakery and coffee shop attached and the coffee shop becomes the residents place in the evening.||Breakfast was superb, lots of choice and quality was top notch. ||Loved the city of Zaragoza and would definitely staying here again when we come back.||It's really close to the shopping area, the cathedral, places to eat, etc. Everything is walking distance.

Small hotel in historic Quarter, very near some great tapas bars. Rooms are not large but fine for a couple of nights. There are 2 outstanding features: the helpful staff and the coffee shop/cake shop where breakfast is served. It seems to be open most of the day and adds flexibility to your plans.|Parking is available for a fee. |The downside to a stay is the fact that the airport bus does not stop close by. My option was to use the airport bus to the train/bus station in Delicias then pick up a taxi there. Taxis from the airport seem disproportionately expensive.|This was our second stay in 2 years and the service was of the same high standard on both occasions. Don't be put off by the humble star rating, it's a gem.

We have stayed here several times over the years and consistency reigns.|This year however we felt it was even better for some reason we couldn't highlight? The cafe was buzzing at all times, even filling the dining area in the basement which was very bright and cheerful. The food at all times was very varied catering for all diets and the cakes etc are perfection. We think the biggest asset (possibly!) were the staff who were at all times wonderfully cheerful and a happy working team.|The location couldn't be bettered and we certainy would never think of staying elswhere. Full marks to all concerned.

Cheap and cheerful with a good location. Rooms are nothing to write home about but the service and staff were friendly and helpful. Communication prior to arrival was good. No parking on site (it's right in the heart of the city) but paid options available nearby - as they make clear. Good value.

Hotel is in a good location close to many tourist attractions and many restaurants and bars. The room is very small and arranged badly (the single room should used twin bed instead). The cafe serves good breakfast.

Small boutique hotel right in the heart of the old town. Great staff, every one extremely attentive. I loved the cafe inside the hotel. No complains what so ever.

We were there last weekend with some friends. They recommended this bakery, especially the Sacher cake. This bakery is in the hotel. I was very disappointed when we arrived, but there was no cake left. Very sad. We ordered another cake, which was good. If you want to try the Sacher cake, you have to go in the morning.

The reviews don’t lie. This urban hotel is centrally located and value for money. The rooms are a smallish size for a standard double but very clean with lovely retro furnishings, excellent bed linen and very efficient air conditioning.|The staff are what make the place special. Without exception they were friendly and so helpful. We thought the coffee and orange in the cafe were great but the toasted sandwiches weren’t very warm and a little undercooked. A minor detail.|The reception were so helpful recommending restaurants but there was a festival on and it was very busy. We got some slices of takeaway pizza locally at Pizza Mia nearby which were exceptional and an ice cream from the parlour on the corner across the street. These were fantastic up there with the best we have had in Italy.|We were worried about the parking. Our medium sized car was tight but OK, staff guided us which was so helpful. There was another car park a little further away more suitable for bigger cars.|Fantastic stay -thank you.

Yelp
We booked Hotel Sauce because it was in the neighborhood we wanted and couldn't resist the name. Originally we had a 2 twin room, but thankfully they switched up to the double on the top floor. Unfortunately the elevator stops short of the top floor so had to take the stairs. However it was worth it. The room is kind of funny since part of the roof slopes, but it had skylights to watch the night sky from bed. The bathroom was large and well equipped. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The cafe had everything and looked great. The location is absolutely great, so many amazing restaurants within a couple blocks, the Plaza de Pilar is only about 2 blocks as well. However plan to arrive by bus or taxi and walk or call the hotel ahead if driving.

Yelp
Top locatie, super vriendelijke staff, betaalbaar engratis wifi. Moet je meer weten? We drove past the hotel because the parking space in front was full (other tourists). We stopped a little further up the street. Someone knocked on the car door window. It was someone from the hotel. He had spotted us, and now wanted to help us navigate through the streets to be able to come back around in front of the hotel. What a service! Above and beyond the call of duty. By that time we got back around the parking space was free. It couldn't have been any easier.

Yelp
What started off as a pit stop between Madrid and Barcelona turned out to be one of my favorite places in Spain! It's centrally located between all of the majority sites in the town and about 15 minutes from the train station. The hotel is clean (very important) and the staff is super helpful and friendly. The prices are very reasonable as well for a Friday night in November. We reserved a double room which appeared to be renovated within the last few years. The fixtures and furnishings were all updated as well. There is free wifi, plenty of towels and a comfortable bed--how much more could you ask for? There is a café attached to the hotel which offers coffees and cakes, lemonades and other snacks. The only thing I found odd was the key policy. We were given an actual key (not some plastic card) and we had to leave it with the front desk every time. It wasn't a huge inconvenience, but it was a little different.

Yelp
I stayed at the Hotel Sauce (a "sauce" in Spanish is a willow tree. Pronounced "Sow-seh") for two weeks to visit friends. I chose this hotel over a couple of others I was considering, because of the ratings it received from other guests, it's very convenient central location, its reasonable pricing and the extremely favorable comments about its staff. And I'm SO glad that I did! I found all of this to be TRUE! On arrival I also found that this hotel caters to people like me who have food sensitivities/allergies. They have a wonderful gluten free bread, and also make fantastic gluten free pastries and cakes in their cozy dining area and onsite bakery. There were locals filling their cafe every afternoon for "la merienda" (Spanish tea time). And finally, one of the things I give most weight to when I stay at a hotel is the cleanliness and the comfort of the bed. In both of these categories as well, the Sauce deserves a 5 star rating. I will, no doubt, be staying at this lovely, cozy, conveniently located, wonderfully staffed and delicious hotel again whenever I am in Zaragoza!

Yelp
This hotel is great! Very clean and cozy, with comfortable bed and nice shower/tub. Would definitely stay here again. But seriously, the best part is the breakfast. My goodness! They had pretty much everything you could think of, but all the bakery items were made on premises with love and attention. I had what I swear was the best bread pudding ever, I wish I had taken some to go. The service and kindness of every staff member is also of note, but man, that bread pudding was outstanding.
