Hotel Savica

Great hotel to see Bled from. We stayed here 2 nights, the staff were wonderful, the breakfast was incredible. The room was clean and well kept. The location is great, the access to the pools was a huge plus. The only gripe I have is on the website it suggests you have access to the sauna's but the reality is you have the ability to purchase tickets to them.

Pro: The room was big. I got a bedroom with 2 single beds pushed together to form a double bed, a kitchenette with a dining table, a living room with 2 couches and a TV, and a small study desk right next to the living area. The breakfast selection was good with lots of options including cereal, eggs, bacon, different types of bread, juice, coffee, hot chocolate, salads, fruits, etc. Cleaning staff clean the room on a daily basis. Con: No hooks in the bathroom to hang my clothes.

We had an awesome 3-day stay at the Savica hotel! The room was super clean, the lighting was just right, and the view of Lake Bled and the castle from our balcony was stunning. The staff were fantastic, and they even let us check out late for free. The breakfast was top-notch with plenty of options. Plus, the swimming pool was included in the price. Overall, it was a great family getaway!

Just a few minutes walk to local restaurants, shops and lake Bled, this hotel is indeed in a very good location. Rooms are very comfortable and clean, towels changed daily. Buffet beakfast is nice but don't expect full English. The use of the Živa wellness centre is a great addition. It was lovely to relax in jacuzzi, have a swim or go down the slide after a busy day exploring beautiful country outside. I would definitely stay here again.

Calm hotel conveniently located close to the lake of Bled. The car parking costs 10€ per night. The rooms are cozy, clean, and comfortable. The staff is nice and the breakfast is of great quality.

We recently stayed at this location for a hockey tournament. As a team, we were all extremely thankful to have been placed in this hotel. All of the hotel staff were extremely courteous and helpful. We have stayed at many hotels where managers and staff get overwhelmed with all the young hockey players and their energy. This was not the case here. They loved that our players were having fun and enjoying their time in Bled. They were quick to help with whatever we needed. Whether it was something inside the hotel, advice on where to go or how to get there, and anything else that may have come up. The location was perfect and easy to get everywhere. We are so thankful to of had the opportunity to go to Beautiful Bled, and even more thankful that were assigned the Savica hotel and their staff!

Herbele provided amazing service at the front desk which made our stay even better. The breakfast is fresh and tasty and the access to the pools next door is a great value.

The one review you need. An overall enjoyable stay! The room: We stayed in a room on the fourth floor with a balcony on the backside of the hotel. The room consists of three separate rooms and one bathroom. Because of the three rooms, there is a lot of space but it doesn’t feel very empty or grand, since they’re separated. Utensils and Comfort: The mattress on the bed is quite hard and potentially uncomfortable if that is not your thing. The bed is also quite short, I am not that tall (177 cm) and I barely fit length wise. There is a lot of storage space in the room and a big couch in the living room to lounge on, even though the cushions do slide off easily. However, when we tried to make a meal in the kitchen, there were a lot of difficulties. The electric stove is confusing to use, there are some missing utensils and the refrigerator is not on originally, so it took some time for it to cool. There are lots of great restaurants in Bled, so I recommend just eating out. The bathroom is a little small, there aren’t many issues when just using it for vanity, but the shower is a little uncomfortable since it is not very spacious and only has a moving door that doesn’t keep the water in sufficiently. It also varies in temperature when on, which is not ideal. The hotel does provide a swimming pool in its sister hotel, which is very big and has lots of tanning beds, some with beautiful views! Hygiene: The room was clean when we entered, no complaints there! Service: The hotel staff is very nice! When we had trouble with the stove, they helped us out immediately and effectively. They also keep your luggage safe when not yet checked in or already checked out. Breakfast: The breakfast is not very extensive, but it’s sufficient. The food is fine and is refilled regularly. Breakfast lasts from 7-10 AM, the hotel also provides a timetable with the most and least popular times for breakfast, so you can estimate the crowd. To sum up, a pleasant stay and well organised hotel.
