Hotel Savoy Bern

One of the loveliest boutique hotels we have stayed in. Service second to none, with Mr. Charles and team taking care of us like family. Dog friendly, very accessible and great location to central attractions, a stone’s throw to the train station, great cafes and restaurants. The room was appointed with high end equipment, a fantastic rain shower and totally quiet. This hotel will be our new go-to place in Bern and we highly recommend it. We are well travelled seniors and don’t bother writing reviews unless something really stands out.

Great spacious and modern rooms. The bathrooms and showers feel so deluxe compared to many other places we stayed on our trip. The location is amazing and quiet while still being quite central. Free transit pass during your stay. And every person working at reception was incredibly warm and helpful. I would most definitely stay here again.

We stayed in Bern in the midst of a heat wave. The hotel was a great respite from the heat, and we slept so well in the comfortable rooms. I cannot say enough about the great staff at the hotel. They are truly hospitable and in it to make the stay easy. They refilled water daily in the mini fridges, which was nice. The hotel is also close to the best pizza you’ll have outside of Italy, Molino’s.

A lovely refurbished hotel, 5 minute walk from the train station and in the centre of Bern city so all attractions were walkable. |The rooms were spacious, modern and well equipped. We stayed 4 nights and we both slept very well. The room was very quiet too. ||All the staff were very friendly but a special thanks to Charles at reception for his insightful tips and local knowledge. ||The breakfast was super however the hot options were very limited.

We loved our stay in this hotel with a convenient access to the major train station, great customer service, and being clean. Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere I definitely recommend this location.

Location was great, only 3-4 minute walk to the Bern train station. Within 10 minute walks to all the main attractions. Charles at the front desk was especially great. He made the stay at the hotel that much better. He gave great recommendations for breakfast and gave us a map with all the different places to visit in town. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms had great water pressure from a rainfall shower head. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

We did have a great time in this clean, centrally located, highly functional hotel. it is very closed to Bern Central Station about 3 minutes walk. Lots of places to eat and very close to almost everything you need to see around Bern City Center Attractions. They even provided free bus pass but we never did use it as we love to walk to discover this gorgeous City. Staff were all amazing, friendly and helpful. They also give free chocolates in the lobby , so with refreshing orange/lemon immersed water just what you needed after all day long walking around the city. Also they provide free still and sparkling water daily . Bed is so comfortable with clean/crisp duvet and linens. Shower has both rainfall/handheld system. Toiletress and shower gel/shampoo all smell great and fresh. If you need to travel around Switzerland via SBB CFF Train system you can stay in this hotel as your hub or base point and you can still see different places around Switzerland without checking into another hotel. Price is very reasonable for Swiss Standard. We highly recommend this hotel. *****I will give 9.8/10 as our rate and great experience with this hotel and the staff.
