Hotel Savoy Bern

The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. While I would have preferred a bathtub, the large shower made up for it. The towels were perfectly fine. The bathroom amenities were not really to my taste, but this is of course a personal preference. The window view wasn’t anything special, but since I wasn’t planning to spend time in the room for sightseeing, this wasn’t an issue. Check-in was smooth, although I was a bit surprised that my credit card was required. Overall, I am very satisfied with the price-performance ratio. The hotel is centrally located and close to the train station. It’s perfect for business travelers and short stays, and absolutely sufficient for a one-night visit or day trip.

We arrived early and were able to get into our room. The woman working the front desk was very nice and helpful. The whole staff were very nice. The rooms are clean, and modern. Nice big bathroom, with double showerheads. The location is perfect. Right in the heart of everything. Would def recommend, and would def stay here again.

Stayed for 2 nights at the end of a weeks winter walking. The hotel is only 3 minutes from the main station but perfectly located in the old city. We were able to walk everywhere of interest from here. Bus and tram also available in 2 minutes ie to Paul Klee centre which is worth a visit if you like art. Hotel immaculate throughout, room well appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast is a good buffet with plenty of variety. We thought the Savoy was good value for money given how expensive some of the hotels in Bern are. Katrin made us feel very welcome and was so helpful with information about Bern. All the reception staff were lovely. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bern and we will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Bern. Thank you for a delightful stay.

The rooms are modern, clean, and provides great amenities. Came back to a clean room every day with fresh towels. Bathrooms were top tier with a large walk in overhead shower. While the view from the window isn’t much, having full of the shades electronically was a nice touch. Breakfast was consistently great throughout the stay with a great variety of food options. Locationally it’s in a very beautiful section not far from the train station and other stores making it great for my day trips.

Clean and comfortable; no frills hotel. Excellent location near train station and old town. Breakfast fine, fairly basic. Staff were very helpful. My only complaint would be that they decided to paint all the corridors during my stay and it looked like a construction site with drop sheets, tape and paint everywhere. I would think this could have been managed better.

Great location, near the train station and the old town. We stayed at the suite apartment and it was so big and spacious. And the terrace was a big bonus. We also really liked the breakfast, traditional products and many different things that you can choose from. We really recomand Savoy 🥰

The Hotel Savoy is centrally located in Bern literally a minute from the train station. The staff is incredibly friendly and super helpful. Always accommodating to the needs of my group and we couldn’t be more happy with our stay!||Rooms are very clean and well stocked and the breakfast offers more than enough for even the most discerning appetites!

Really loved the stay. Cant fault the room, everything modern and super clean, azomg shower, bedding, pillows. Really all in the room was great. Breakfast was really good, everything you want and all fresh. Staff were helpful. Location was walking distance to everything. 5 mins walk to train stations. WiFi was fast. I can't fault anything for a central hotel.
