Hotel Savoy Bern

I recently stayed at Hotel Savoy in Bern for four nights, and it was a wonderful experience. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city, making it convenient to explore nearby attractions. The rooms were modern, clean, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The breakfast offered a great variety and was delicious. Overall, my stay at Hotel Savoy was delightful, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bern.

If you are looking for convenience and simplicity in a central Bern location, this is your place. The hotel is a very short walk from the central train station and is almost equally close to the old city. Outside the hotel door is a bustling pedestrian street of shops. The rooms are sufficiently spacious (I booked a deluxe room) with all the necessities but no frills. My bed was comfortable, the bathroom modern and roomy (not always the case in European hotels), and there were blackout blinds to ensure the light and noise from the below street would not negatively impact my rest. The room and reception area were also very clean; however, the hallway carpets could use a little more attention. The staff were very warm, welcoming, and capable. |Necessary and sufficient would be an apt description.

Wonderful location right in Alstadt. Easy to walk to everything. The front desk service was friendly and the room was so comfortable. It was clear that they had thought about every detail. The automatic window shade, locations and variety of outlets, and the shower were all so nice. The bathroom was the largest I've encountered in Switzerland hotels so far and the shower was so relaxing after traveling. Couldn't recommend the hotel Savoy enough. Bonus that they have coffee in the room!

Very clean hotel with comfy bed and modern bathroom. Excellent location for exploring old town. Breakfast options were limited but okay for a short stay. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Lift needs repairing. I'd be happy to return to visit this beautiful city.

We enjoyed our stay in the suite with the rooftop patio. There was ample room for our entire family of 5. The suite was aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the train station, numerous restaurants, shopping (including Christmas markets), and landmarks such as the Bundeshaus and the Zytglogge. We would stay at the Hotel Savoy again.

Nice hotel in the city of Bern. Rooms were tidy and clean with a nice balcony. The beds were very comfortable. Very centrally located and parking garage is nearby. There are Nice restaurants around the hotel and you can do everything by walk. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We just finished our stay at the Savoy. My wife and I could not have been happier with the accommodations. The location was excellent, the customer service the staff offered us was over the top, the rooms look brand new the bathroom with tiled walk-in shower was awesome. One of the more comfortable beds I've slept in, and not to mention the free Swiss chocolate offered at the reception desk. One of the most pleasant stays we've had in any hotel over the past 20 years. Absolutely recommend five stars rating , thanks to Dominic Patrick and the rest of the friendly staff, loved it, Rich B.

A modern, comfortable hotel that has clearly been designed with the needs of guests uppermost in mind. It’s in a great location in the Old Town, only a short walk from the train station (but the triple-glazed windows keep it quiet inside). The hotel staff is welcoming and helpful. Why can’t all hotels be this good?
