Hotel Savoy

A nice renovated hotel with great staff who deserve 6 stars out of 5 !! According to the locals this is the best hotel in Grado. We can follow that point of view, although there is still work for the management: the breakfast is quite monotonous, without a glass of bubbles, without a piece of salmon or other smoked fish. 3 standard types of cheese and charcuterie is really too little, despite the choice of on the spot made egg dishes and a pancake. In addition, rooms with air conditioning are offered, but in May it is apparently not in operation, and is not activated when asked. An additional Dyson air blower was the questionable solution for the warm room. During the renovation, apparently little attention was paid to the sound insulation between the rooms. The daily telephone conversation of the neighbor could be clearly heard. No, for a hotel that likes to profile itself as a 4*S or even 5* hotel these are negative points. A bit of a shame for all the other good things, therefore the total rating is a bit lower to make the management aware of the shortcomings.

A lovely hotel populated by a brilliant staff. Hotel Savoy is ideally located in Grado, with easy access to the beach and the old town where most of the restaurants are located.||The bedroom furniture is a bit dated but the rooms are spacious and well furnished. The public areas are top notch and very attractive. ||We really appreciated the very friendly and efficient service both at the pool bar and at breakfast. Our room was daily very well cleaned and tidied. The reception staff were also friendly and very helpful. ||Grado is a lovely town. Our only negative comment is that there was a lack of variety in the food offerings in the huge number of restaurants in the town. Very little red meat or chicken was on offer in any of the restaurants that we visited. The food that we had was excellent though the lack of variety was disappointing. ||Thank you very much to all the wonderful staff in the Hotel Savoy for everything they did for us.

This hotel is our absolute favorite when visiting Grado. The staff here deliver a level of customer service that is hard to beat! The front desk is efficient and professional with check-in and check-out, as well as additional guest-related requests. The rooms are nicely appointed and provide a good atmosphere for rest and relaxation. The housekeeping staff are also attentive to personal requests and checking with their guests. We decided to try the breakfast and dinner plan this time. Food was fresh and tasty, and dining on their terrace was delightful. Adriano and all the wait staff do a marvelous job making your dining experience a very positive one. Many thanks to you all (Romina...you were especially kind and sincere in always greeting and welcoming us to the restaurant), it always brightened our day. The pool and garden area are meticulously well-manicured and provide for a very nice outdoor atmosphere to enjoy. Having a saltwater pool is definitely an added bonus as well. If you are looking for a great upscale place to relax in Grado, this is the place for you! Great job to everyone at Hotel Savoy! You made our stay a very enjoyable one and we will definitely be back again.

This is a very nice hotel. The building is modern, located on a channel between Grado main island and island of Chiusa. ||We had room No. 116, first floor, looking towards the channel, many yachts. The road is buisy but noise isolation is good.||The room is very well kept, clean, everything provided that is needed. The bed is very good, so is the linen. Size is ok, also storage facilities.||Air condition is working perfectly, silent, yet efficient.||The bathroom is good, one sink, bidet. Shower is a nice glass cabin.||Parking is on the side and is not billed separately.||The grounds are not big, but landscaping is intelligent and plants are nice., so no sqeeze felt. The outdoor pool is in round shape and does not give much space for swimming.||All staff are very well trained and always friendly- no exception. Especially welcoming the restaurant staff. Breakfast was good, good choice, good quality. Coffee is normally better in Italy than here. ||For lunch they offer wonderful and diversified options from small bites to normal-size dishes.||From hotel you reach the beaches within 5 minutes. 10 minutes to the beautiful old town center.

Well, this is actually a quite boring review as we couldn't find anything which should be improved while staying in this superb location in Grado! It was our third time and still we enjoyed it a lot (and looking forward to the 4th stay!) - the friendly staff, beautiful location, great swimming pool and food and the hotel rooms are great and tidy! If you are in Grado staying in the Savoy is definitely a top high recommendation (mind the upper range budget requirment, though, but for everything which is offered and perfect, quite fair enough)

We decided relatively late to make a short holiday in Grado and without any previous experience we relied on the opinion on other guests on the booking site. Fortunately there were a few free rooms still in this hotel so we booked immediately even the price was not the cheapest at all. But on the other hand it is a standard price for a room in a 4 stars hotel in Europe and it worth for the last cents of it. First of all: parking. If your hotels has no parking place in Grado you are lost, meanwhile our stay we saw only 1 free place once, otherwise the streets are full and you can hardly park your car. This hotel has an own parking lot and they always find a place for you even it is completely full. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the location of the hotel is perfect. Very close to the centre but still quiet, the night life is not running under your window. Breakfast is nothing special but OK., and the nice lady makes you any pancake or egg dish you could wish. The hotel has an own swimming pool and a sunbathing terrace, surprisingly the pool is filled with salty water but very clean and refreshing. Unfortunately some hotel guests do not read the hotel rules and reserve the deck chairs around the pools with their towels and afterwards do not appear whole day, but it is a common problem everywhere. Despite this we always found a free chair, there are quite enough around. If you want to go to the beach it is very close to the hotel and the hotel offers umbrellas as well very close to the entrance. The pool bar is excellent, we drunk there one of our best ice coffees and you can have some light meal meanwhile the day as well. The staff is very helpful, they helped us in restaurant reservation that was very useful as without a reservation you could hardly get a free table in the best restaurants in the high season, though there are a lot in Grado. So I absolutely recommend this hotel, we already plan to book there for next year as well.

This is by far one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in, so definitely a recommendation if you want to stay in Grado!|The pool with its salt water is big and perhaps only the number of limited deck chairs is worth to mention. But anyways, you are in Grado and should go to the beqch anyways, which is just a 5 min walk away.|The hotel staff is super friendly and the breakfast buffet is marvellous!|Enjoy your trip!

We stayed for one week and every day were excellent.|We were with friends, and had two 2 years old girl for summer holiday.|The staff were very helpful and friendly, the beach is just fine minutes walk, the downtown is about 10 minutes walk on a walking street filled with bistro, and shops. It means the location is perfect.|One of my favourite were the dinner. They have a breathtaking kitchen, worth the price. I am sure it is a perfect choice with small children.|We had a balcony and could sit out there with our friends in the evening, while the babies was sleeping.|Absolute recommended.
