I stayed at SB Glow Hotel in Barcelona in March 2024 and overall it was a great experience. The rooms were top quality, I’d give them an 8 out of 10. The terrace had an amazing view – definitely a 10/10. We also had access to a sauna and gym, both were excellent, 10/10. For my birthday, we even got a nice surprise, which was a really nice touch. The staff was very friendly and helpful, definitely one of the highlights. The location is a bit farther from the city center, but there’s a shopping center nearby, which was convenient. All in all, a solid stay!

We stayed at the SB Glow for a music festival. The location is out of the way of the city a bit so the streets and cafes around were quiet. Which was nice. The hotel itself has a very nice lobby, breakfast area and rooftop. We did do breakfast which was Buffett style and had multiple options. The food was good. The room is on the smaller size but it was very nice and clean. Housekeeping also would come everyday if you wanted to refresh the room. They did a great job. We utilized the rooftop pool and bar area the most during our trip. The views of the city are nice. The pool is small but functional. It was never over crowded with people. I went around 11am and had no problem getting a chair by the pool (chairs are limited). The bar had amazing drinks however there is usually just one server up there so if there are a lot of people it can take a bit of waiting to order. The food on the rooftop is also great. Overall we liked our stay.

I visited the Glow for 1 night with work and it's was a great base at a decent price point. It was 190E for a double room breakfast and that felt value for money given there was a roof top pool and bar (serving good food - reasonably priced), and a (very small) gym. The room was fine, it was on the third floor and whilst I was worried about noise - there was none. The only negative was there was a slight small of damp in the room due to the bathroom not having a door separating it from the bedroom. Overall, it's decent for the price. ||The breakfast was a self serve buffet, which was average, but plentiful. |Whilst I was there for work, it is within 10 minutes walk of the cathedral so it would be a decent base for a weekend break.

Lovely location, relatively close to everything we wanted to experience in Barcelona. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was good yet nothing special. The rooftop pool area/pool bar offered amazing view, definitelly the best pool area I've experienced. ||By the pool area was the hotel gym that could be booked for an hour at a time. The gym offered equipment to create nearly a full-body workout.||We liked our room. Only negative things to point out were a bathroom door that wouldn't close and a bad view from the window. Very clean and comfortable otherwise, would visit again.

It was a great experience. Central location. Comfy and cozy room. Delicious food with a twist in the hotel restaurant. Nice free spa. However, the best bonus was kind and welcoming hotel staff. Separate big thanks to Daniel and Vanessa for all the advice and making my stay a nice memory. Writing this review today, amidst the blackout, I do hope everyone is well and safe.

The hotel looks nice but the staff are rude and whilst it may be a nice hotel for holiday makers it’s impractical for business travellers as there is no room service and the gym doesn’t open until late in the day at 0800. ||Like many hotels in Barcelona the looks are only skin deep. When getting into the room and on just the most cursory of closer inspection one is greater with broken amenities uncomfortable beds and generally poor upkeep ||The staff are dismissive and rude I would avoid at all costs. I am unsure how a hotel like this gets a 4 star rating. There are many excellent hotels and airb&b options in Barcelona. Avoid!

Great facilities, we loved the rooftop pool, gym and sauna. The view from the rooftop is very nice. The hotel is nice inside and staff are very friendly. Rooms are also very clean. The hotel is conveniently located next to a big shopping centre and there is a bus every 20 minutes which goes into the city centre. All round a great hotel and we would recommend for visiting Barcelona!

I recently stayed at SB Hotels and had a mixed experience. The location is excellent — truly central and convenient. The reception staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, which left a great first impression. The room itself was decent, though the furniture showed some signs of wear and tear. Housekeeping was consistent, with fresh linens, and overall, the service was very good. One of the highlights advertised was the free spa access. We visited the spa twice — the first time was perfectly fine. However, during our second visit, I had a very unpleasant encounter. After briefly stepping out of the spa area and trying to return, a middle-aged male staff member rushed in and began shouting at me in Spanish. I don’t speak Spanish, but from what I gathered, I was not allowed to re-enter the spa once I had exited, and he seemed upset that water from my body was dripping on the floor. Unfortunately, there were no instructions — in Spanish or English — regarding spa usage, and no mop or towel provided to dry off before re-entry. I found this interaction to be quite unprofessional and upsetting. When paying €150 per night for a four-star hotel, I expected a uniformly courteous experience across all staff, not just at reception. This incident significantly impacted my overall impression of the hotel, which is unfortunate, considering the positive aspects.
