Great location. Great housekeeping. The rooms, however have such thin walls I heard another guest next to me talk on the phone for 2 hours. I could even hear his wife on the phone's speaker. Are these walls cardboard? Also, no breakfast available.

The quality of the rooms is a coin toss. I lost. What they advertise and what you get may be two different things. The location is great.

Having stayed in various hotels in and around Schwabisch Hall, I thought we would give this one a go. Having stayed so close to the cathedral before, I was a little concerned about the early wake up from the bells.||||I didn't need to worry, soundproofing is great. We stayed in the penthouse room with its shower in the middle of the room. Its a great room and just a little different. Late check in was well organised and smooth. The rooms clean, the staff very friendly. Breakfast is only light, coffee and croissant but plenty of choice in the town if you want more. Some of the cakes in the coffee shops are amazing, plan time to have coffee and cake. All in all a great location to see the town. Which by the way is a great town to visit, lots of picturesque photo opportunities. Everyone was very friendly were happy to help us non German speaking tourists.||||The hotel appears to be a number of houses joined together which adds to the appeal of the place as you move through the building. The lift to the top floors fast and quiet.||||Will stay again on my next visit.

Really funky hotel with wonderfully spacious rooms and great bathrooms. Soundproofing is great, We didn’t hear the cathedral bells! We had a great nights sleep in the comfortable bed. A light breakfast is served downstairs, fresh croissants, coffee, tea etc. Really highly recommend

Very basic room and hotel. Expected more from this historic place. In over 4 months of travel first place with no way to make coffee or tea in the morning! Restaurant and bar are still closed so no food except down the hill. Pictures on Google don't match realty. We had no view (see photo), no air movement when day temps were 36⁰ for 2 days, no fan or ac. The town is beautiful and we slept ok but would not stay here again. Staff were super nice and helpful but basics are missing for the price paid. Beautiful floors and buildings.

I booked my stay at the last minute for a stay in order to meet an old friend in the area. The single room was located in the front of the building, had bright carpet, a standard twin bed and sizable bathroom. Aside from the street traffic, it was fairly quiet, though the room could use darker shades for those of us light sleepers. Room was clean and the location couldn't be beat, just steps away from the church and all tourist sites within walking distance. You must reserve a time to pick up keys as they do not have a typical front desk during certain times of the day. Also, no breakfast is included. Otherwise a basic, clean and safe stay with average prices for the choices in the area. (April 2019)

All the lodging options in the downtown are expensive— we found Scholl to be the most economical yet with a high end feel. It did not disappoint! Great location and beautiful building. We found the room itself to be quite stuffy in a very hot July, but we also didn’t inquire whether they had fans to lend. There’s one big communal mini bar on the main floor, not in the room itself. Checking in and out was seamless and pleasant.

Absolutely brilliant we had car problems before arrival (full tank of wrong fuel)and the man on reception in the morning was fantastic sorted a garage to pick car up and gave us more time in rooms as well as sorting everything thing out for us over the phone meaning we only had a three hour delay As opposed to a day-or more trying to sort ourselves . Great location, fantastic hotel/Staff and beautiful town

Yelp
Wonderful family owned and operated hotel in a quaint town. We loved it! The breakfast was really good. All fresh juices and foods (eggs, breads, meat, cheese) and the staff were incredibly sweet and accommodating. Parking was easy and the rooms themselves were comfy and large! Great decor too and the fridge is always full of drinks which you can help yourself to and they charge your room accordingly. Very inexpensive for the quality of stay we had! We highly recommend and also will return if ever in the area! Thank you!!!
