Hotel Schwarzschmied

Our stay at the Schwarzschmied exceeded our expectation. From the moment we arrived, everything felt thoughtfully designed to create a sense of ease and enjoyment. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between modern comfort and genuine warmth, making it just as inviting for young guests as it is for seniors. The food deserves special mention, very tasty showcased fresh, local ingredients with an exceptional level of care and creativity. It was a highlight of each day and a true testament to the hotel’s dedication to quality. Overall, the Schwarzschmied offered a beautifully crafted experience that feels both personal and refined. My husband and I stayed at this hotel on the evening of December 12 during our first trip to Italy. The facilities were fantastic, and we had a perfect night here! Tragically, I carelessly left my wallet (with my passport inside) on the car roof when we checked out the next day. We didn’t notice until we reached our next stop, and we were absolutely panicked—losing the passport would have ruined our whole trip and left us stranded abroad. After a frantic search, we went back to the hotel for help, and the front desk ladies were incredibly kind and helpful. They organized staff to search the hotel thoroughly, checked surveillance footage to confirm my mistake, and helped us contact the local police to file a report. Since we don’t speak Italian, they also acted as our translators and liaisons the entire time. While we were at the police station, we got a call from a local who’d found our wallet in a nearby village—and the hotel team immediately helped coordinate with him to get it back. Thanks to their tireless efforts, we recovered the wallet and my passport, and got to continue our Italian adventure smoothly. The hotel’s service is truly exceptional, and the scenery here is stunning too. We can’t thank the staff enough for their professionalism and warmth—10/10 recommend!

Overall the hotel is very comfortable. it should be a calm and peaceful place. But what I don't understand is that such a peaceful place should normally be away from children. However this hotel has too many kids and families, even newborn babies. So I don't really know why it is described as a hotel for relaxation. meditation and yoga. it feels a bit different from the concept the hotel is trying to present.

Loved the property and the service was excellent. We were particularly fond of the friends we made of the hotel staff including Julien, Nadine, Anja, and Mathias. They were truly exceptional and that’s quite a compliment as I’ve stayed at a lot of Marriott properties in the past. This property will certainly be my go to European destination if I’m looking to relax and recharge from the stresses of life.

Loved, loved, LOVED this place. We stayed with our 3 kids for 5 days and it was an absolute dream. It's hard to find a hotel that strikes a good balance of being lux, low-key, and kid-friendly, and Hotel Schwarzschmied did it all. It had a children's yurt full of toys and books, great daily yoga and other classes, and incredible food. We expected we'd want to explore other restaurants more, but ended up eating at the hotel for dinner 4 out of 5 nights we were there because it was just so good. And the hotel breakfast was absolutely perfect, no notes.

Really amazing wellness hotel with daily activities, dreamy location and pool, and gourmet food. I joined the hike organized, yoga and functional fitness. Free city bikes to explore. Everyday with the most creative half board options and energizing breakfast

Wonderful stay at a Marriott Bonvoy Design hotel. The breakfast is unbelievable with so many healthy options. The location is central to many easily accessible attractions, and the views from our comfortable room were amazing.

A Crown Jewel within the Marriott network. Hotel Schwarzschmied has a calming and relaxing atmosphere from first entry. The lush green valley setting within near the Dolomites is stunning. Attention from staff were amazing. The restaurant and Bar offerings, as well as the quality, were 5-star and quite reasonable for a luxury hotel. Location to walk to the village for shops and restaurants was ideal. The room configurations with sitting areas and multiple seats on the terrace allowed for full enjoyment of the weather. I look forward to returning soon.
