A Crown Jewel within the Marriott network. Hotel Schwarzschmied has a calming and relaxing atmosphere from first entry. The lush green valley setting within near the Dolomites is stunning. Attention from staff were amazing. The restaurant and Bar offerings, as well as the quality, were 5-star and quite reasonable for a luxury hotel. Location to walk to the village for shops and restaurants was ideal. The room configurations with sitting areas and multiple seats on the terrace allowed for full enjoyment of the weather. I look forward to returning soon.

Loved, loved, LOVED this place. We stayed with our 3 kids for 5 days and it was an absolute dream. It's hard to find a hotel that strikes a good balance of being lux, low-key, and kid-friendly, and Hotel Schwarzschmied did it all. It had a children's yurt full of toys and books, great daily yoga and other classes, and incredible food. We expected we'd want to explore other restaurants more, but ended up eating at the hotel for dinner 4 out of 5 nights we were there because it was just so good. And the hotel breakfast was absolutely perfect, no notes.

This is truly one of the most exceptional hotels we’ve ever stayed at, with delicate, thoughtful design and warm hospitality that ensures every guest finds full recharge and relaxation. Truly the best spot for a health and longevity focused retreat. The setting couldn’t be more ideal- nestled in a valley between mountains, overlooking a beautiful vineyard and a local church, with a perfect meditative walk leading to downtown Lana. Special mention goes to the hotel’s restaurant and chef, which offers the most comprehensive local breakfast, and whose dinner experience is an absolute must during your stay. The four-course meal, changing daily, never fails to impress - curated from the finest ingredients and infused with just the right amount of local flavor in an innovative way. Thank you for the warm hospitality and we can’t wait to return for a winter retreat as well.

This was our second visit to Schwarzschmied and certainly not our last.||A true oasis in the calmest and most relaxing surroundings imaginable.||But the best thing is that they have captured the real meaning of hospitality.||The staff makes you feel welcome from the minute you arrive and the whole place has a homey atmosphere. ||Unfortunately, my wife got really sick during our stay, which meant we had to shorten our trip. Everyone was so helpful with contacting doctors etc.||Cannot recommend highly enough.||Thanks!

Best experience ever! The location is immersed in a vineyard, and it has swimming pools, sauna, and a great fitness area with daily activities, e-bikes and a large parking lot are available for all guests. Close to main attractions (i.e., Merano 2000, monte San Vigilio). Children are welcome. Food is delicious and local. It is very international and everyone fluently speaks German/Italian/English. It feels like home. A suggestion: we know that it is a plastic free area (highly appreciate it) but a recycle bin for plastic could be helpful

Beautiful designed, easy living space, selected materials, great facilities = happy place. Stylish atmosphere, good music, fantastic vibes. We attended a yoga retreat and enjoyed every moment of our stay. Lovely staff and excellent cuisine.

It has been a long time since I felt so taken care of in such a beautiful space. The quality of the food is excellent, the service kind and very professional. The rooms are high quality. The spa. Yes, I am really enthusiastic about the place. I have already sent the hotel to friends who will book soon. and I will for sure be back. Best young family hotel we've ever been to. As a young family with an 18 month old, this place was perfect. It felt safe, quiet, welcoming, and it wasn't too big to continually be running after an 18 month old. The rooms were perfect, and the little gift we got for our daughter was a lovely touch. The food was excellent but the breakfast was a standout delight every morning, accompanied by brilliant service. For the adults, there was a great library of design and culture magazines, a well stoked bar, an excellent spa, and the yoga conservatory was next level. It had everything and we're looking forward to coming back. Thank you for our week.
