Hotel Schwarzwand

We were not staying at the Hotel, however we did have dinner at Schwarz Wand Hotel Restaurant Lounge Bar. Simply a wonderful dining experience. Every detail was enjoyable. The warm greeting and hospitality of the staff were genuine and not contrived in any way. The decor was modern but subtle and very comfortable. The background music was low, pleasant, and unobtrusive. The menu was simple, but every dish had been carefully considered and refined. The presentation of each course was unique and surprising. Every mouthful was a taste sensation with a burst of flavours and textures. This restaurant is a little way from the flashy main street of Lech. It is well worth the short walk through the quiet back streets of Lech. Highly Recommended.

Wonderful family hotel in Lech. Very centrally located with beautifully renovated bedrooms, kind staff and a good wellness area with sauna and steam baths.||The bathroom we had, had both a walk in shower as well as a bath. A sleeping sofa, the room was spacious, unfortunately without a balcony, but there are plenty of rooms with balcony.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at hotel Schwarzwand. Its location in the city centre and its proximity to the main ski lifts are just perfect. The staff, the interior design and comfort, the food: all was first class. We have immediately made a booking for next year.

Lovely dinner with amazing service provided by Clemens. Setting warm and calm, very nice bar area. Would definitely recommend for non hotel guests to have dinner.

One of the standout features of Hotel Schwarzwand is its location. Perfectly nestled in Lech, it’s just a short walk to the lifts and the heart of the village. Whether you’re heading out for a day on the slopes or strolling into town for dinner, everything is easily accessible without compromising the peaceful mountain ambiance. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the staff—and in particular, Clemens. He was a constant, reassuring presence throughout our visit. Whether it was early morning or late evening, Clemens was always there with a smile, making sure guests were looked after. His dedication was remarkable—he seemed to be everywhere at once, effortlessly handling check-ins, serving breakfast, answering questions, and making sure each guest felt special. It’s rare to encounter someone so committed to hospitality, and his attentiveness played a huge part in making our stay so enjoyable. Hotel Schwarzwand is the kind of place you look forward to returning to—not just for the location or the rooms, but for the genuine warmth that lingers long after you leave. We can’t wait to come back.
