We recently stayed at Hotel Schweizerhof in St. Moritz with my parents and had a generally pleasant stay, with a few areas that could be improved. The highlights were definitely the breakfast and the location. The breakfast buffet had an excellent variety, and the egg station was particularly good. Our room was comfortable, with updated furnishings and a modern bathroom. The hotel’s location is also a big plus (right in the center of town and very easy to walk to shops and restaurants). That said, a few aspects of the service and facilities fell short of expectations for a hotel of this category. While the staff were polite, service felt somewhat hands-off. My mother has limited mobility and struggles with walking uphill, and although the hotel has a car they use to transport guests from the train station, we were advised to call a taxi up to the base of the funicular (a 3-minute drive but at a steep incline) rather than being offered assistance. A short ride would have made a big difference for her comfort. The spa area could also use attention. The showers had a noticeable odor (urine or sour) and the relaxation room smelled strongly of cooking, likely from a nearby kitchen vent, which made it difficult to relax without our robes and towels absorbing the smell of frying oil/meat. The steam room was also not functioning properly, and although we informed staff, it still wasn’t working when we checked again the following day. Overall, the hotel has a great location and comfortable rooms, but a bit more attention to service details and spa maintenance would significantly improve the experience.

The hotel exceeded all expectations. Aesthetically, it is absolutely beautiful, without doubt the most elegant 4* hotel in the Engadin. At the very beginning, there was an issue with our room, which was resolved quickly and efficiently by Giulia at the reception. Id like to express special thanks to her for such attentiveness and understanding, especially during this incredibly busy (crazy) period with the World Ski Championships and Christmas. She’s a true professional who has a remarkable sense for working with people. She intuitively understands different personalities, my husband and I are quite different in temperament, and that sensitivity is truly invaluable in this industry.

From the moment we arrived at the train station at St Moritz, there was a small bus waiting for us - the driver was so wonderful( so sad I can’t remember his name ) . He drove us to the Lovely hotel on Thursday . The service was 5 plus stars. I am so impressed.- from the driver to the reception and waiter staff and cook in the restaurant ( breakfast) . The hotel organised the driver ( very professional and lovely ) to drive us to station. The breakfast was delicious. I felt like the staff were always wanting to make the best experience and I am so impressed. Thankyou so much for.

Fantastic hotel and we will definitely stay here again. Great spot for Christmas and ski access. The best parts about this hotel are: 1. The staff and service: The staff was incredible and very flexible with holding our luggage for a family of four. Renaldo, the piano player, made my Mom's night by playing her her favorite songs on request. If you email/call in advance, the staff will also arrange a shuttle too and from the train station which is included in your booking. Ski lockers included in the booking. 2. Sleep and Ski Pass: Discounted lift tickets for staying at the hotel. 47 CHF a day. Must email or call in advance if you are arriving late. 3. Location: 5-7 minutes walk from the hotel to the funicular that takes you to the ski lifts. There is a ski rental place next to the funicular. The rooms with a lake view are stunning. The hotel is right next to the Palace hotel and is in the heart of the shopping district. For non-skiers, going to Piz Nair is a MUST. It's a beautiful viewpoint with a restaurant on top. Make sure you buy the appropriate tickets and take the funicular all the way up. Keep in mind Half-Fare cards do not apply to the funicular. 4. Breakfast included in the reservation. They have great variety and an omelet bar. I cannot speak more highly of the incredible staff and service at this hotel. A delightful experience.

Our two night stay at Hotel Schweizerhof was excellent We were picked up from the train station by a very friendly driver. The check in process went smoothly and even though it was still early, the room was ready. The staff was professional and friendly. They answered all of our questions regarding places to visit. The room was on the 5th floor with partial view of the city and the beautiful lake. The room was very clean, the bedding was very comfortable and there was ample space to hang and put away clothes. We loved having an espresso machine in the room and when we asked for extra capsules, they were brought up right away. The breakfast buffet was abundant with an omelette station as well. Everything we ate was fresh and the service was excellent. A special shout out to Julia at the reception. We really enjoyed our stay at St. Moritz!

Lovely Historical Hotel in the heart of Saint Moritz, it smells history by the time you get inside. Hotel located in the central area of the city, it has a wonderful fine dining restaurant (Segantini), lounges, bar and rooms with a breathtaking view over the lake. Rooms are very clean and staff is super friendly, in particular Giulia the Italian receptionist 🙏🏼 All the Staff made sure we had everything we needed 🙏🏼

We did not realise the 5 star experience we were in for by staying at this Hotel. The Reception staff, who are the first contact with the hotel, truly were outstanding and very helpful by providing all the information we required for our stay and then some. The Travel Pass offered were well received for us to us on the buses and funicular and the Breakfast was a wonderful selection and service. Very central to everything and hopefully one day we could return.

We really enjoyed our stay, our room was fabulous, overlooking the lake. We enjoyed our breakfast, there was a good choice of food. The hotel is in a great location, with easy access to the train station, lake and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed our evenings in the piano bar.

Yelp
First of all we did not stay here, BUT enjoyed beer and a dirty martini made by awesome bartender from Lake Como. He made my favorite drink and was extremely kind and friendly. I think that made our drinks just so wonderful. Visit their bar before you go to the restaurant that's just next door!

Yelp
I've stayed in quite a few mid priced (for St Moritz) hotels in St Moritz and this is my favorite. The location is great, it is near to the main restaurants and bars, shops and has easy access to the lifts to ski. The rooms are functional and a plus is certainly the huge closet with plenty of hangers (one of my pet peeves is that a lot of hotels have about three hangers, where are you supposed to hang your clothes) plus the big full length mirrors with good day light. I absolutely love the breakfast room with view on the frozen lake and the selection is quite good. The quality of the food in the buffet is great and I love you can have your eggs cooked by the chef. But most importantly the service is always great, the team is always friendly and willing to help. Only downside I would say that it get's pricey on busy weekends and that the room has no iron (but they offer reasonable priced and quick iron service in house). Would recommend!

Yelp
The Schweizerhof Hotel is the starting point of the evening in St Moritz, either after ski or after dinner. There are 3 bars with live music and very different atmosphere. The best one is the wildest one where semi-amateur singers get on the (mini) stage and sing rock and pop songs. The atmosphere there is pretty wild, people dance on the tables and it gets very crowded towards the weekend (and smoky). The piano-bar is bigger and also very buzzy (obviously it depends of the quality of the band there but the pianist and the female singer were very good, singing mostly pop songs) but slightly more civilised (in terms of crowd and atmosphere). There is another bar with jazz/blues type musicians where you can have a conversation but the atmosphere is much quieter.

Yelp
Polite and classy. Amazing view from the roof. Great foyer bar and cigar-room, quaintly called the Library. And surprisingly affordable as a get-away in the off-season.
