We did not realise the 5 star experience we were in for by staying at this Hotel. The Reception staff, who are the first contact with the hotel, truly were outstanding and very helpful by providing all the information we required for our stay and then some. The Travel Pass offered were well received for us to us on the buses and funicular and the Breakfast was a wonderful selection and service. Very central to everything and hopefully one day we could return.

We arrived via the Bernina Express and were greated by the hotels concierge at the station and taken to the hotel at no cost, great service. Check in was seamless with a free room upgrade. Room was immaculate from recent upgrade with a balcony and fantastic view of the lake and mountains, nice touch with the free mini bar. Breakfast is great with plenty of choices, the food in the restaurant is good value. Piano Bar and Stubli bar offer good entertainment and excellent service. Free to use E-Bikes are a bonus and the staff were more than helpful with advice on where to go and what to see. Overall an excellent experience and we highly recommend visiting.

We were picked up from the station and also dropped off on our return. The check in was very quick and efficient. The hotel is very large and looks very exclusive. The room we had is lovely with the most amazing views of the lake. The bathroom wasn’t the best laid out and you can only fit one person at a time in there. There is a viewing terrace on the 6th floor with views across the whole lake. There is a sauna and spa area but I did not use these so can not comment. Unfortunately it was difficult to sit on the balcony as the people underneath us were constantly out there smoking weed, which I can not stand the smell of. |The service was very slow in the main bar on the first night due to lack of staff. We went in the English bar underneath the hotel, which had a live singer. You can smoke in there which I did not enjoy as don’t smoke, and it was a very small room with lots of smokers, however my husband was loving life as not been able to smoke in a bar for many many years. There is also a piano bar, which again you can smoke in but the room is much bigger, however be aware that the prices in this bar are way higher than anywhere else in the hotel. Breakfast - good selection of foods and a chef to cook your eggs the way you want them, which is always nice. We ate in the hotel restaurant Acla, which was very nice. The customer service is very good at the hotel, we had an issue with one of our bills and it was rectified immediately.

We really enjoyed our stay, our room was fabulous, overlooking the lake. We enjoyed our breakfast, there was a good choice of food. The hotel is in a great location, with easy access to the train station, lake and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed our evenings in the piano bar.

Great location, friendly, professional, helpful staffs, especially Maitre D Renato with his superb service and genuine hospitality! Most importantly it’s the great value! Thanks for a most enjoyable visit with the area! Will definitely come back for more ‘

An excellent hotel in the heart of St. Moritz. From the moment I arrived at the train station, I was picked up using the complimentary transfer and promptly checked in upon arrival. No doubt the room is a little dated, it exudes old school charm. I had a room with an excellent lake view. Main praise goes to Segantini restaurant who catered to my dietary requirements and special kudos to Renato who was warm and extremely friendly! Highly recommended.

The hotel has a great location and upon arrival we were greeted by Mr.Dario Matti indeed a very sweet person . His willingness and urge to help guests was remarkable. But it all turned black while dining. So definitely not a good place to go

Google
Hotel close to station if not carrying luggage, hotel will provide pickup and drop off Hotel reception not welcoming to guests and more interested in attending to their conversation than service Lovely old style Hotel high on hill on roundabout with great view of Lake Saint Moritz Rooms do lack style though and floor felt uneven and creaked. Shower over bath which is difficult for most people. Pillows flat however if requested staff will provide an extra one. Breakfast room big and provided good range of options. Again some staff not keen to provide hospitality services in a friendly manner

Yelp
First of all we did not stay here, BUT enjoyed beer and a dirty martini made by awesome bartender from Lake Como. He made my favorite drink and was extremely kind and friendly. I think that made our drinks just so wonderful. Visit their bar before you go to the restaurant that's just next door!

Yelp
I've stayed in quite a few mid priced (for St Moritz) hotels in St Moritz and this is my favorite. The location is great, it is near to the main restaurants and bars, shops and has easy access to the lifts to ski. The rooms are functional and a plus is certainly the huge closet with plenty of hangers (one of my pet peeves is that a lot of hotels have about three hangers, where are you supposed to hang your clothes) plus the big full length mirrors with good day light. I absolutely love the breakfast room with view on the frozen lake and the selection is quite good. The quality of the food in the buffet is great and I love you can have your eggs cooked by the chef. But most importantly the service is always great, the team is always friendly and willing to help. Only downside I would say that it get's pricey on busy weekends and that the room has no iron (but they offer reasonable priced and quick iron service in house). Would recommend!

Yelp
The Schweizerhof Hotel is the starting point of the evening in St Moritz, either after ski or after dinner. There are 3 bars with live music and very different atmosphere. The best one is the wildest one where semi-amateur singers get on the (mini) stage and sing rock and pop songs. The atmosphere there is pretty wild, people dance on the tables and it gets very crowded towards the weekend (and smoky). The piano-bar is bigger and also very buzzy (obviously it depends of the quality of the band there but the pianist and the female singer were very good, singing mostly pop songs) but slightly more civilised (in terms of crowd and atmosphere). There is another bar with jazz/blues type musicians where you can have a conversation but the atmosphere is much quieter.

Yelp
Polite and classy. Amazing view from the roof. Great foyer bar and cigar-room, quaintly called the Library. And surprisingly affordable as a get-away in the off-season.
