This was exactly what I needed for a short work stay in The Hague. It is very clean and simple with the right touch of charm and the price is just right. Location is excellent too, centrally located near cute eateries and shops. I would come again and recommend.

The host was fantastic and being family owned, she took a great care of us and my little toddler as well. Highly recommend this wonderful place!

I enjoyed staying here. It was spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed, friendly staff, great air conditioning, a nice suite, and even a tiny little balcony.||What was not so good was the bed had a topper which moved in the night, slipping to one side. Apart from a few snacks, there is no food in the hotel itself, but it's available across the road and down the street, so that was fine with us. Finally, the stairs. Typically, Dutch properties are tall and narrow with steep, twisting stairs. Our room 27 was on the 3rd, top floor. Carrying luggage was difficult and exhausting. Walking down was also troublesome because the steps are narrow and steep. It's a heritage property, so there is no lift. If anyone has mobility issues or big cases, I'd recommend asking for a lower floor. Photographs attached. ||Please understand The Hague is expensive for hotels, eating out etc.

This was a fantastic hotel to stay in! It's so much bigger than it looks from the outside. Staff were friendly and helpful, including reception and housekeeping who acted very quickly to report and resolve a sink/ toilet issue. I booked a suite and it was a fantastic space. Clean, tv, kettle and microwave, fridge and toiletries and fresh towels. The room was lovely too. The hotel is situated in a very lovely area where there are loads of shops including small supermarkets, kebab place, near to a pub with great seating area and some convenience stores are nerby. Also, just a few mins walk from a really big and popular supermarket (aH) - great location, lovely staff and great value for money. Near to lots of trams too so getting around is lot a problem either. Would definitely recommend this place! 5/5

I spent a few nights at Hotel Sebel last week. Pros- Clean and comfortable hotel in a good neighborhood. My room had all the basic necessities for a good stay. It was quiet (top floor, no lift, weekdays), comfortable bed, TV, table and chair, kettle, private bathroom. In the dining room there is a kitchen for guests to use. A pleasant surprise, as I was not told this... There is a fridge, microwave, mini oven, toaster, and tea kettle in this shared kitchen.
Cons- Staff is not very helpful or nice, especially the blonde girl (wed/thurs/fri). Hair dryer shuts off after a few minutes. It did this to me multiple times and I had to wait up to 10mins in between. On Thursday morning there was a loud construction crew near my window. There was no prior notice of this, so it abruptly woke me up. They could have informed guests.

I booked on booking.com. 3 days before my stay I got a message on the hotel's official booking.com account asking me to add card details for payment. The link was to a scam page which looked identical to booking.com. the hotel took an hour to notice and contact people to advise it was fraud, and in the meantime I lost €418. The hotel clearly has poor online security practices in allowing scammers to access their account. They at no point apologised and when I arrived, no one acknowledged it from start to finish. The hotel shirked all responsibility for this, they responded to the situation completely inadequately and have appalling customer service. ||||The next day after the scam message, the hotel also messaged me another external link via their booking.com account asking for credit card details and details of travel documents to 'check in'. This one was apparently genuine, so there really is no way of telling whether it's the hotel or a scammer messaging you.

The hotel was very very beautiful from the outside to begin with. The staff were incredibly lovely when I walked in and spoke perfect English. The parking provided for €19 was about two minutes away from the hotel. Rooms are set in three different sections of the buildings. We were in building B on the 3rd floor. The room was spacious and had amazing floor to ceiling windows. We really liked the autonomous coffee bar where you could serve yourself a number of coffees.
The room certainly isn't as perfect as it looked on the website. The bathroom, for instance could very much use updating. I very much struggled to get clean in the shower, the power was awful. The location of the hotel is not near to the beach and you will need to get the tram into the hague beach area. All in all the hotel was nice but don't be fooled into thinking its as beautiful as the photos. I also do believe that the hotel was not entirely worth its value as it was quite expensive.
